Amazing experience, was worth every penny. We were supposed to have 16 tastings and somehow we ended up with more. It was great to experience all these great food spots with locals. There was plenty of food available for everyone and they were always willing to order more if we wanted more to eat. Both guides were fantastic, they were very attentionate, always made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Were it possible, I would give this tour 6 stars out of 5. Oh boy, what an experience! We felt so welcome right from the meeting point up to the very end. Tom's English (our guide) was absolutely amazing. It was almost as if talking to a native speaker. Which makes it just soooo easy to communicate and shoot out your many, many questions about the wonderful diversity of Bangkok's street food. We met up in Chinatown and over the course of 4 hours we got to taste 19 (!) different dishes and drinks all over the many many different food stalls of Chinatown. Ranging from morning glory dumplings to pork stew to shrimps, green curry, satay some green juice, sweet dumplings, Tom Yam soup and even some crispy insects (on request). We've even visited two stalls which have been awarded a Michelin star. The group of 9 people was just small enough so you could really approach the tour guide as well, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, he seems to enjoy his job tremendously. As did his helpers, always paying attention, so we tourists didn't stray or stand too far on the road. It happened quite often that I was so stunned by the scenery, I just forgot about cars and everything, and suddenly one of the elves appeared, shooing me back to safety. Again, I'm trying to put the experience into words, but they fail me, such a fab time we had. I can only say, if you are in Bangkok, try it out yourself, it's well worth the money and the time is so well spent, since you not only get to taste the food, but the stroll through Chinatown and Tom's explanation gives you a glimpse of how people live their daily lives in Bangkok. Just wonderful.

Really amazing tour that was absolutely worth the cost. Our guide Tom was friendly, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make our tour special. Make sure you arrive on an empty stomach because there's more than enough food, and of a wide variety too. I tried things from places that I wouldn't have thought or known to explore on my own. While the tour isn't vegetarian or vegan-friendly, because our guide knew a lot about what was in each dish other dietary requirements were able to be accommodated by asking for versions that, for instance, omitted the sauce or certain ingredients. Despite the heat and humidity when we went, we were kept as long as possible in air-conditioned spaces. After the tour Tom was even kind enough to help us arrange transport back to our accommodation. 100% recommend!

What an amazing way to see the Chinatown part of Bangkok! Our tour guides Nut and Phon were amazing. They explained the history of the area, pointed out important buildings on top of introducing us to some of the best street food and restaurants in the area. We tried over 15 different foods on the tour, including two different drinks. They made sure we had plenty of water and even introduced us to “cold towels” that you can buy at 7-11 if you get too hot. I can’t say enough good things about this tour! Some of our favorite foods we tried included pork satay, winter melon curry, Michelin rated shrimp dumplings, Tom yum soup, special street donuts and mango sticky rice to name a few.

The Old Siam Lunchtime Food Tour was excellent. Not only was it a food tour but also a tour “into” Bangkok life. We rode on tuk-tuks, a local canal boat and a local bus. The foods we tried we interesting and very good and they were items that I would never try on my own. And places I would be too hesitant to order something not being able to communicate in Thai. Our guide was excellent, Olive. Just a wonderful introduction to Bangkok, Thailand and the foods that are benign cooked up on the streets and in the markets. Highly highly recommend!

This has to be the BEST food tour I have ever been on! Firstly, our tour guides, Oh & Kat were amazing. Very friendly, welcoming and great fun. The description says 15+ different food tasting but you definitely get more. MAKE SURE YOU COME HUNGRY!!! All the food was amazing, really did go through all the back streets we wouldn't have seen ourselves and we learned a lot along the way. Couldn't recommend this tour more highly enough. One of our highlights of Bangkok. Will be using A Chefs Tour again in other cities. Thanks again Oh & Kat 😊

Our tour guide, Wit, brilliantly delivered his knowledge, experience, and passion for local Thai cuisine. Over the course of our 4hour tour, we indulged in 15 different Thai dishes. To add to the adventure, we explored the Bangkok neighbourhood using local bus ( no AC), Tuktuks, and on foot; immersing ourselves in the authentic local experience. It was a fantastic tour! Thank you Wit! - Sue&Paul

Amazing food tour for anyone wanting to experience an authentic taste of the best street food in Bangkok. Don’t skip this tour, you’ll visit spots you would not necessarily stop by as a tourist. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about the city, the food we were tasting and the owners and history of the establishments. 5 stars

Highly suggest this food tour in Bangkok. The guides Ant and Army were so nice and knowledgeable and got us tables where possible. We went to many places around Chinatown to try Thai foods. I think we tried a few more than the tour promises which was a nice surprise. Who doesn’t love more food? Our favorite? Green curry. The tour did last a bit longer than I anticipated but it was well worth it. Treat yourself to this experience in Bangkok, You won’t regret it. You can book directly on their site!

This has truly been an incredible food tour experience! My husband and I are currently enjoying our trip in Thailand, and being avid food enthusiasts, this has been an absolute must for us. First and foremost, we'd like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Annie and Champ for their exceptional guidance in helping us immerse ourselves in Thai culture through its culinary delights. Connecting with our guides on a personal level was a delightful aspect, and their evident passion for their Thai heritage was truly inspiring. We've had the pleasure of savoring an extensive variety of delectable dishes, easily exceeding 15 different types! So come prepared for a feast! Annie and Champ ensured our comfort throughout, keeping us well-hydrated in the humid weather, maintaining our hygiene, and ensuring we had comfortable seating for our meals. Exploring off-the-beaten-path places that most tourists wouldn't venture into was a fascinating experience, as it allowed us to witness the daily lives of Thai locals and their vibrant food culture. As for the cost of this incredible experience, I must emphasize that it is incredibly reasonable, and without a doubt, worth every dollar . Trust me when I say, Annie and Champ , thank you immensely for sharing your culture with us and allowing us to be a part of this unforgettable journey.

This has been the best food tours I’ve ever experienced. My husband and I are here in Thailand for our honeymoon and since we are huge foodies, this is a must!!! First, I just want to thank Oh and Pat for showing and helping us around to know more about the culture using food. Getting to know our guides was also amazing because it felt so personal and I can tell they have passion for themselves as Thai. We’ve tried so many different kinds of food!!! Like at least over 15 types of dishes! So be prepared to EAT! They made sure we were hydrated during this humidity, kept our hands clean, and made sure we had a spot to sit and eat! The places that most tourists wouldn’t go was also cool to experienced because you see the way Thai citizens go about their day with these local food stands. The price for this experience I would say is not pricey at all and if anything, all worth it, TRUST ME. Thank you again Oh and Pat for sharing and allowing us to experience your culture. You both have made this very special. Especially celebrating our honeymoon with cupcakes! Super thoughtful. We will do this again!!!

Bew and Mayki were amazing. We had so much variety and a lot of food to eat. This was by far the best food tour I have booked. A definite for people who want to sample a variety of Thai food.

A great experience and some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had. Our guide today “Phone” was 1000/10. Well organised and had 18 dishes across 4 hours. Thanks for allowing us to explore the city and food!

Nut was amazing and very attentive to the group. He always offered additional if we really liked something. The food was also very tasty. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone new to Thailand. It’s a great way to try a number of new foods without having to commit.

Absolutely loved every minute of this tour!! Really felt like we experienced real Bangkok with a boat, tuk tuk, bus, alley markets, and other special experiences. We took our teenage kids and they loved all the food and the richness of the local stories. Very well done tour - totally yummy but also authentic!!!

We had an amazing experience! We have been to some hidden places that we could just find with a guide. We tried some food that there is only in that area, because people whats to keep their tradition. Also, we tried some food we never would thing about to try by ourselves. Our guide is very experienced, a chef, so he explained to us about the history, cultura and connected everything with food. We could understand more about Bangkok on those 4 hours walking and eating around. We tried tradicional food and drinks, and some are on Michelin guide and TV shows. Overall, we would recommend this experience if you really go deeper in Thai culture, history and food.

Great Street food tour in chinatown, the heart of Bangkok. Peach was a great Guide who told us many details about the food and the districts history. Many unique places you would not find without locals Expertise!

Had a great time on the Chinatown evening tour and so decided to also do the lunchtime tour. Both were really enjoyable with a good variety of food (they are not joking when they say to go on an empty stomach - it is a lot!) and very friendly guides with a lot of knowledge of Bangkok and the local street food. I would recommend these tours to anybody visiting Bangkok - I have been here almost four months and would say they are the best thing I have done so far - definitely worth the price tag.

A-plus tour with sooo much food (I counted 19!) so you definitely get to try and learn a little bit of everything, which is the best thing about food tours! Our guide was also incredibly knowledgeable, fluent in English, and always eager and ready to help or offer more food (which nobody could take him up on anymore), thank you very much for the awesome experience!

I have now done a number of food tours with this company and I can definitely say that they are the best tours out there. The guides are super knowledgeable and have an extended culinary experience. They also also super friendly, look after you so well and make each tour an unforgettable experience. I travel a lot but I'm still quite shy when it comes to ordering food from local vendors and this tours are exactly what I need! Thank you chefs!

Foot Tour was excellent and Tom and Annie were extremely kind, patient, and well-informed. Just the right amount of time and food. The highlight of the tour was the shrimp dumplings and the visit to T&K Seafood Restaurant.

A brilliant tour, one of the best food tours I’ve ever been on! The guide was polite and helpful, and we got to eat so many different specialties that I would have never been able to find on my own. Come with a few belt notches spare as you’ll get fed plenty (although it’s not heavy or all consuming!). It was a well paced tour, with lots of delicious little stops, and a few surprises too. The guide was knowledgeable and shared some fascinating stories, you can really feel his passion about Thai food and culture. I would love to go on another Thailand tour they run, maybe Chiang Mai or Phuket and I saw they do a Bangkok lunch tour too. When India reopens I’ll definitely check this company out again as I see they have tours all over the world! Highly recommend, go and try it, there is more to Bangkok than pad Thai! Thanks A Chefs Tour for an amazing evening I won’t forget!
