This hotel exceeded all expectations. It is more beautiful than any picture can capture and the staff are even more friendly and helpful. They have captured the essence of Old Sukhothai with modern conviences. It was very relaxing and comfortable stay. Staff was very helpful, using excellent English to assist in making local travel plans. Breakfast, included with the stay, was excellent; "best hotel breakfast I've ever had," said my father, compared with American hotels. I wish I could spend many nights here. I will be back!

The dropped star is because location is out of the way and there is a bar behind that plays live music 9-1am. It's not a massive problem, but if you are a light sleeper you will hear it. No safe in the room.Bikes are available to get you 10 mins up the road to local food places etc but you will need a taxi or bus to the national park. The hotel is charming and the pool welcome. Food was good, breakfast thai style was good but no cereal or pastries if you are expecting European. I would stay again if I were passing through.

What a beautiful place! Part hotel, part museum, this place is clearly the result of years of work and love. The building's reclaimed wood and many of it's antique furnishings have been collected by the owners from Sukhothai and surrounding areas over more than a decade. For those travelers who are expecting big cookie cutter standardized rooms, you should probably look elsewhere. We visited during covid period, and the hotel had few guests. We paid 900 Baht a night, which is an incredible bargain for a hotel of this class. Many thanks to the kind owners and staff of เรือนไทย hotel for making our stay so memorable.

Lovely little place, nicely authentic…definitely the better option in the area. Perhaps they could have a stronger emphasis on F&B to keep the guests within the vicinity at night. Great find!

Spent a weekend here during Loy Kratong. Room clean and tidy, staff very helpful. From what I could see, the hotel has limited parking. Only complaint would be the cold breakfast on the day we checked out.

There are bunnies at the hotel! The owner gave us advice on what temples in the old city to visit and a map with specific directions. The staff is very friendly and helped us move in and gave us free drinks when we first arrived. Their morning breakfast is great. If you go to their restaurant, get their spring rolls! The sauce in particular is fantastic. Overall, fabulous.

This hotel used to be a real Thai house. You will feel like you stay in Thai environment 100 yrs ago. Even they used real antique furnitures and other items to decorate, there are model facilities that make you comfortable. Nice staffs, nice food, very good service. Our children like to play and feed the rabbits.

We provide a shuttle services for you, can recommend tourist attractions. And can prepare for the trip after you have checked out, I believe you will be happy.

If you come to Sukhothai and looking for a restaurant with a Thai style, I recommend this restaurant, Ruean Ther in Ruean Thai Hotel. There are Thai houses to see and you can also have a meal. It's like we are back in the past of Thailand. It's so wonderful!! Next the topic of food. There are both Thai and Western food here but you came to Thailand and you must eat Thai food. And this is the menu that I recommend, Moo Bo Ran, it is pork stir-fried with eggs, chilies and basil leaves. This is a recipe from the ancestors of the owner. Food in the past and the style of Thailand's past. This is perfect!! If you come to Sukhothai, don't miss it!
