Hidden gems of this area. Very cosy place and superior service. Food and beer was great. EDIT. 4th day in a row. Place just keeps getting better with amazing food and best service we have ever had.

The North Shield is a typical British Pub kind of bar in the Pendik area of Istanbul. The atmosphere inside is very nice, with a real wood burning fire place, Chesterfield couches and so on. The food is typical pub food, but for those who prefer a salad they also serve this freshly made. Beer selection is very good, pretty much all international beers, and local Turkish brands. This time I went through the cocktail menu and I am a picky cocktail drinker... Either make it right or not at all. And this place delivers! Started with the Old Fashioned, then a Negroni and then a New York Sour... All crafted perfectly, great tastes and correct serving. Prices are very fair and friendly staff... So I give this place 5 stars. Will for sure be coming back. Cheers!

Amazing place to relax and have a beer

Only place e to get a drink in Kurtkoy apart from the Han restaurant opposite. Service used to be good but has dropped off since the pandemic . Food ok fairly western , prices have gone up. Not a bad evening out 👍

It's a great place to meet with friends after work or have a semi formal business lunch. It is probably the only pub around the area, but still have the highest level of quality you may expect from North Shield. Snacks are quite delicious and bar offers a wide selection of beers and spirits. Prices are a bit high, but worth the nice atmosphere.

Good food, very good service. Been here 3 times, quite sweet patrons as well. Hotel upstairs is OK but kinda expensive, relatively. Waiter named Eren was doing exceptionally well, hence the review. Semih, on the other hand was way too arrogant for an average yarn.

It's a nice place, cold beer, nice environment, comfortable. Good food and a variety of drinks as well. Not crowded, big enough to accommodate many people. The beer is a little expensive though...but it's a nice place.

Proper Irish pub that nobody knows exist because of its location.
