We went on the Great Ocean Road via this tour company and the experience was amazing. Our tour guide was Craig. He was a great tour guide and being a local of the Great Ocean Road itself, he provided us detailed information of the places. He shared his childhood memories at different spots and gave us ample amount of time at each spot. We also got to know that he had visited somewhere around 140 countries, so having the first hand experience of being a tourist, he knew what we (tourists) wanted. Thankfully, we were one of the first groups to sit on the newly purchased big bus by the company. The bus had big leg space and wide windows, which allowed us to enjoy the view. The day started at 7:30 am and ended around 9 pm. The 14 hour journey was amazing.

Made a booking with Autopia Tours for the Grampians Tour. The service was excellent and the tour guide, Daniel, was very energetic and cheerful. He gave me lots of historical information about different places that we visited while on our road trip through the Grampians. He also had a lot of sense of humour which made it all the more fun and enjoyable to be with him as he drove us around in a mini bus! I would definitely recommend Autopia Tours to anyone who is looking for a good time out with their family or friends. Very happy to have a very experienced tour guide Daniel with us on this trip.

After almost 3 years, we have finally made up our mind flying to Melbourne for holiday amidst Covid-19 with our 6 year old child. The outcome was amazing and we had enjoyed ourselves to the most. We have joined Autopia Tours Australia for the Melbourne snow tour at Lake Mountain on 30/7/2022. Our guide was Shane and he was such a wonderful and caring person to all of us. He was very attentive to our needs and well-being to ensure that we were always comfortable throughout the journey. Lake Mountain has very beautiful views and we love the snow play experience there. The tour continued with stops at Steavenson Falls and Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery too. Lookout at the waterfalls were exciting and everyone of us had some delicious sweet treats at Yarra Valley towards the end of our trip. The overall journey was fantastic.

Did a Great ocean Road reverse tour. This is simply awesome. I loved the way the guide interacted with us. He(Chris) never over behaved with us. Rather, he understood the situations and acted accordingly. He(Chris) was one of awesome Guide I have ever seen. Thanks to Autopia. All the best. Attached are some memorable moment with Chris

I just got back from Philip Island with Daniel for the day. I'd originally booked for the "Penguin Plus" experience, but got a call from Autopia yesterday saying that the centre had run out of tickets, so I would only be able to get general admission. This was unfortunate, but the lady on the phone was very apologetic, and offered me a refund of the extra price (which I took), or to rebook on another day. I also received a goodwill voucher code for another tour. On the tour itself, our guide (Daniel) had a note on his clipboard that I was originally booked for Penguins Plus. It was really nice to know that Autopia wanted to fix it. Throughout the day, he did everything he could to try to get me a ticket, and managed to find that someone had cancelled a ticket last minute that I could upgrade to! It's things like this that make a great tour company stand out from a good tour company. Even with a bus of 20 people, I didn't feel like "just another tourist". The rest of the tour was great too, seeing koalas, wallabees and of course the penguins! I would definitely recommend

Took part in the Pinnacles Sunset Stargazing Tour in January. The trip was great! The drive up to the Pinnacles is long, but it is broken up by lots of stops, some of which are spectacular sights themselves. Once at the Pinnacles, you will be taken around the area first on the bus and then given some time to explore on your own. This is when you get the chance to watch the sunset over the sea should you so choose. There is plenty of time to get the perfect photo or just take in the beauty of the moment. Dinner is still fundamentally picnic food, but much better than I was expecting. After dinner, you are given some time in the dark to watch the night sky. Time here could have been longer, but I suppose there's the long drive back to Perth to consider. On the night we were up there the sky was dark enough to see plenty of stars despite the full moon creeping up into the sky while we were there. Overall a worthwhile experience.

Had the best day today at Lake Mountain!! Our tour guide Britt was even more AMAZING! Made everyone feel so welcomed and comfortable. She even went out of her way to quickly run back to the bakery and pick up my friends coffee that she left at the counter as we were late to board the bus back. Best experience ever! Would 100% do this again with Autopia

Daniel is an Epic legend. We have been to so many tours in Australia, can't remember other guides except Daniel. He is probably one of the top guides in Australia. He's also an Aussie"David Attenborough" and Jack of All trades. He has a warm heart, the knowledge of nature and human harmony. He picked us up when it was dark and cold but he filled the van with music, laugh and happiness. What's more,we saw the snow ❄️ without need to put on the chain. The boys said it was the time Daniel gave it to them was most memorable! Thanks Dan,wish you all the best in Batmania. We will be Back!-if can book with you again

What an amazing experience. Very professional guides and a fun filled journey. Well first day our trip to Lake Mountain got cancelled due to bad weather conditions but we were already midway.. Our guide Craig was very thoughtful and made sure families still had fun and was amazing. Autopia booked us for Lake Mountain tour for second day and this time we had lovely Britanny as our guide, who was even more amazing. Being a fresh graduate, Britanny did an amazing job and was super awesome. Very professional and knowledgeable guides, very professional staff from office, Amar, Vanessa or anyone who interacted with us through last 2 days have been very professional. I am definitely booking again through Autopia. Definitely 5 star rating.

Just got back from a tour to the Grampians with Brit. She was amazing! I can't believe that was her first official trip as a guide to the Gramps. She was knowledgeable, and was very welcoming. She put in the effort to connect with each and everyone of us by striking conversations with us. All the best to you Brit, and keep doing what you're great at!

I recently booked a tour for 6 people to Lake Mountain. The tour was very professionally run – everything was on time, and I have to comment on the driver, Peter, – he was excellent. He injected an element of humour and was very knowledgeable about the areas through which we drove. Please pass this on to the driver. By the way, all the members of our party felt the same. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to get a “taste” of Victoria’s alpine country.

Visiting Melbourne and did the Grampians tour, it was fantastic with breath-taking views. Our tour guide Brit was brilliant and made the day so enjoyable with her stories and knowledge of the area. I really liked how well she communicated what the walks would entail. I was slightly worried about the hiking but I was reassured there were plenty of alternative options if I didn't want to take the stairs to Mackenzie Falls. Would highly recommend to anyone, and even those who are worried about the amount of walking as it is very doable and the staff are brilliant if you have any concerns :)

A great and long day out at Litchfield with Autopia Darwin! Sadly, as it was wet-season a lot of areas were shut down due to the weather, not something the company could affect but we recommend to do this during the dry-season to get the full experience. Andrea was a lovely tour guide, hope she stays long with this team so more people can enjoy her commentary and love for the outback!

Aidan was incredible! Lots of good stories and facts about what we were seeing, and he even let us take over the radio to turn our bus into a party! He was the perfect balance of giving us interesting information, while letting us have fun with our group! He was an amazing and safe driver!!! I usually get a little car sick, especially on roads like the Great Ocean Road, but Aidan was such a smooth driver that I felt great the entire time! Thanks for an awesome day!!

Litchfield National Park - Top End Day Trip from Darwin was fantastic!!! A great way to see all the best the Top End has to offer in one day. You have the option of doing the Jumping Crocs which is highly recommended. Litchfield National Park is beautiful and we visited Florence Falls (stunning), Buley Rockhole and finally Wangi Falls which was probably my favourite spot in the Top End. Paul and Jay were our tour guides and they were very energetic and knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. It is much easier to hop on a bus and be driven around to all the spots rather than do all the driving yourself and try to work out where to go. This is my pick of tours for the Top End.

We had an absolutely great time with Daniel at the Grampians! He is quite the raconteur and there was never a dull moment with him. Learnt much about the history of this ancient place — the waterfalls are magical and plenty of Kangaroo spottings on the way. Do this tour.

We did the 1 day Grampians tour with Craig and Barry last Dec 28. The places we visited was worth the long drive to the Grampians. The views were spectacular. Craig was very engaging throughout the entire tour. It was very informative as he would share fun facts and important information during the drive. His driving was quite smooth so you won't feel dizzy during the ride. This tour comes highly recommended.

Did several trips like : Hunter Valley Tour, Great Ocean and Grampanians (3 days), Philip Island. The trips are awesome, well organized, contain enough stops during the bus drives. The guides I had were good to excellent. Can only recommend.

I had a great time with Janet on the 3-day trip to see the ocean road. A one day trip simply wouldn’t be enough! The hotspots like 12 apostles are pretty but she showed us better places. It’s really a must do!!!🌊🚐

We went on two Autopia tours during our short time in Melbourne. First, we did the Peninsula Hot Springs. Absolutely amazing service from Autopia and great value. Less than 1.5hours from Melbourne's CBD. The highlight of our trip was 100% the 12 Apostles and Great Ocean Road with tour guide Peter on 21st Dec 23. We absolutely adored him. His 40+ years of experience as a tour guide sure had us learning new things we'll be sure to pass on. Peter told us all about the 7+ places we went and even delighted the tour group in going for a brief kangaroo search! He was very insightful and knew all about the history of Victoria and it's respective Flora and Fauna very well. Peter definitely made the trip as great as it was! He kept the whole coach rumbling with laughter. We found the only koala in our tour group and were so chuffed to see one in the wild!!! The photos attached to this review are of the 12 Apostles and Great Ocean Road tour. Cannot recommend Autopia tours enough!

My boyfriend and I travelled with Autopia on the 3D/2N Adelaide to Melbourne tour to the Grampians National park and along the Great Ocean road! We had a fantastic time! The tour group was super mixed with 14 different nationalities (and 20 passengers!) and all different ages! Our tour guide Chris(so) was great! Even though he had only been tour guiding for 6 months he did an awesome job, telling us lots of facts and showing us beautiful places! I really liked the extra spots he showed us that weren’t on the itinerary! Accommodation on the tour was great too, so I can only recommend this tour to everyone who’s up for an adventure! Thanks guys!

Had an amazing experience with Autopia! We did the 12 Apostles and the Great Ocean Road. We stopped at all those great spots and everything was perfect. Aidan was our tour guide and he was absolutely fantastic, friendly, humorous and very insightful. He knew the history of all the places we visited and just made our day with his humors. Thank you for such an excellent service and experience. Cant recommend Autopia enough for those looking for great tours.

An excellent trip from Adelaide to Melbourne. We were a small group that got on well and we were looked after by our guide and driver Craig. He was knowledgeable about the sites we visited and was also able to provide a detailed background to the history of each site and kept as informed regarding the local flora and fauna. The coastline along the coastal road is stunning. The accomadation was good, the younger members of the group used the shared rooms while I opted for my own room (its an age thing ) The first day was a long day travelling but we had plenty of breaks. I would strongly recommend this trip and the operator David

My partner and I did the Penguin Parade/Phillip Island tour with our guide Vicky and we had a fantastic time! The information about both Phillip Island and Australia’s history that Vicky provided along the way were definitely a highlight for me 🫶💓

So fun! We got to see all the animals we wanted to see in Australia! Koalas, echidnas, swamp wallabies and little penguins! They’re just so adorable! Without the worry of where to go or how to get there, the bus took us directly to see the animals. We had a very lovely day ❤️

Amazing experience with their Katherine Gorge tour! The gorge scenery was breathtaking and worth the money. The driver (tour guide) was very nice and funny. She kept telling us stories about the area to keep us entertained during the long drive. The only thing I wished was that they could reduce the stops when returning to city, because I was tired after the long day and would rather be able to rest than stopping by more snack stations.

Wow! What a lovely way to see this part of Australia. J Dog was our guide for this 2 night 3 day trip and it couldn’t have been better. She led us with a mix of humor, concern, and an ability to make everyone feel comfortable. J Dog also volunteers doing animal rescue and has a deep understanding of the all the animals we saw which were many. Our stops for the meals that we bought for ourselves were well chosen with time to explore. The pace of the days was great with the mix of hiking, walking, exploring and then time to rest while the bus moved to the next place. Overall, J Dog is an enthusiastic guide who loves her country and my husband and I were lucky to have spent this time on the tour.

The last days have been amazing! J-Dog was the best tour guide! She showed us her favorite and secret places and told us a lot about the places we visited. Especially the mix between the great ocean road and the Grampians national park was perfect! A highlight was definitely the Venus pools with natural slides and the sunrise on our last morning!

Had a fabulous day with Janet aka J-Dogs! We did The Great Ocean Road tour to the 12 Apostles viaLorne, Apollo Bay and Otway National park. Janet was so passionate about her job and a mind of interesting facts. The trip is a long day 13hrs but the time flew past and we even got to see some Koalas and Echidna’s as well as some jaw dropping scenery. Highly recommend this trip through Autopia Tours

Great trip, knowledgeable and enthusiastic driver (forgot his name... we did the tour on Nov 10th). It would have been better to stretch the tour on 2 days but unfortunately we didn't have the time so this was a good alternative. Doing the reverse tour is in my opinion the best option as it wasn't too crowdy at Loch Ard Gorge and the Twelve Apostles. I also loved the walk at Melba gully. We even spotted some koalas down the road. Great value!

AMAZING!!!! I just got back from the 3Day/2Night Kakadu & Litchfield 4WD Camping tour. I normally don’t like to travel with a group, but our tour guide Jay was just simply the best. I didn’t feel like apart of a tour but more like just hanging out with mates and exploring this beautiful part of Oz. The group was a fabulous bunch of people and we all got really well and shared our experiences with travels and adventures. Jay our guide was what made this experience so special, her passion and knowledge were next to none, and like I said it wasn’t like your stock standard tour where you feel like they are just reciting from a script, this was authentic, you were travelling with a mate who was enthusiastic, passionate and wanting to share her knowledge, experiences and stories. Jay is an absolute asset and her smile, energy and personality is infectious. This part of Oz should not be missed and you are doing yourself a favour with booking this trip, the memories will last a lifetime. No cookie cutter experience here…

Hi I have done the Blue Mountains Sunset tour (Sydney) with Flinders group on the 4th of January 2019 (booking with Sightseeing Tours Australia). I would highly recommend tour under your company. Under Flinders wing I felt safe. He made sure we have enough time for each place, that we get on time everywhere, that we are not hungry, that we injoy the trip at maximum. He was caring, informative and also funny. He made everything to make sure our day will be memorable and fantastic. I didn’t expect I will have such a great time and fun at the tour arranged by some tour company. I have been in Sydney for 3.5 years and didn’t find time to see the Blue Mountains. But it was on my dream list to do in Sydney. And my dream came true thank to you. Thank you so much! I loved that we were looked after very well and at the same time we still kept our personal space and time to enjoy it in our way. Thanks for the perfect day and perfect trip!

Tim's deep knowledge of the Great Ocean Road tour enabled us to minimize the congestion with other tours and gets us to fascinating views of beautiful Australia. His rough voice and music selections adds drama to the lands' histories that he passionately tells. Never a dull moment and for sure any tourist would feel very welcome with Tim. Tim is 5 stars for me but the overall is a 4 (bus comfort, itinerary, etc.). Simple tip for tourists: have a good breakfast or bring food/drinks to eat along the way or just get motion-sickness ready for the long road trip. Also, consider a direct trip to the 12 Apostles and then Great Ocean Road spots on the return.

Tour of the Grampians on 9/2/2020 was very enjoyable. Tour guide and driver Tim N was very informative and his knowledge of the area and Australia and of other things was quite extensive. His commentary on the journey and appropriate music was very much enjoyed. Being the only true Australian on the tour I couldn't fault his facts. Good on you Tim. And we all got back safely which is always a bonus.

I went on a magical tour to see the penguins on Phillips Island. Our guide/driver was Craig along with his mascot Barry. Definitely splurge for the platform (I booked via Viator)! I saw over 200 penguins walk by as they came from the sea to their burrows on shore. There's no photography allowed to protect the eyes of the penguins. Besides the penguins, we also saw Wallabies and Koalas!

Had one Great Ocean Road tour on one day followed by another booking to have the Grampians tour. Best decision as a tourist! Hours of long drive along with guided sessions. Really appreciate Janet AKA J-Dog for my Grampians session. We went on a good amount of walks, Wildlife watching and scenic views! Janet was very engaging, fun and shares little bits here and there in very digestible portions. Really enjoyed myself on her tour trip! Do check them out, really worth booking the tour for a good time in Melbourne :)

It was amazing! The crocodiles were so close to the boat. Rex, the tour guide, was really nice and sympathetic. He made sure we were safe and had a great experience. I had such a great time on the three day tour! The Great Ocean Road, especially the 12 Apostles, is just as grand and beautiful as the pictures would have you believe — it was the highlight of the trip for me. Our lovely and insightful local guides Janet and Chris took us to a few extra spots that other tour busses don’t, and the hidden gems don’t disappoint either. We got to do and see a lot, but I never felt rushed or pressed for time. It was a perfect balance, with banter and fun facts all along the way. Not to mention all the Australian wildlife we got to see in their natural habitat too. I’m really glad that I chose this tour. I got to have an immersive and authentic experience, while spending time with some Australian folks and other lovely visitors alike.

Great tour. Andrea was an excellent guide telling us lots of facts about the history and the wildlife of the area with an enthusiasm that is infectious. It made the drive very enjoyable particularly as a solo traveller. I very much enjoyed bird spotting at fogg dam and swimming at the two water holes they were absolutely beautiful (worth it despite the crowds) . Lunch not supplied but the lunch stop sells great sandwiches. Definitely recommend this tour. It's a bit rushed in that you don't get to stay in any one place for long but that's inevitable on a tour and I felt like we got to see all the highlights, so maybe one day I can go back and enjoy my favourite spots. I also might not have felt safe to swim without going on a tour and having the knowledge and information of the guide telling me it's safe. Wildlife spotting is also much more fun with a guide to tell you facts about them.

We did the Kakadu National Park Wildlife and Ubirr Rock Art Tour from Darwin City today and had a brilliant day! Andrea, our driver and tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience easy and interesting! We enjoyed Foss Dam, the Ubirr Rock Art and seeing the crocs at Cahill Crossing. There were plenty of toilet breaks and chances to stretch you legs. There were also a couple of stops for refreshments. All in all a great day!

I went to Phillips Island day tour recently. Our guide, bus driver and DJ is Ilkay who is absolutely amazing, friendly, informative and super enthusiastic. On that day the weather is not what we would expect it to be for a day out but Ilkay went above and beyond to make sure everyone enjoy their time even it’s cloudy, windy and rainy. Though the ride was quite long, it was not boring at all. Our guide told us many stories as we drove past each points and cities. Our group got a chance to see Koalas with their Joey which was very lovely. Then we stopped by Cowes to grab something to eat and get to enjoy view of the beach in local town area. We get to stroll along a broad walk at Nobbies for a little and since the wind was super strong, I didn’t walk much far. (hope I could visit again when it’s sunny!). Our guide drove us through Summerlands slowly so that we could have a chance to spot some wildlife along the way :) Finally, we arrived at Penguin Parade, our main spot of this trip. Ilkay gave us tips and directions to get the best spot at the general viewing area which is very helpful because this was my first time being there. I’m glad I did this tour with Autopia, everything went on time as in itinerary and the bus was comfy. I would highly recommend everyone to at least once in your lifetime join this tour. Because getting to see those cute little penguins is so worth it! And you’ll also be the part of helping and supporting the centre to possibly keep up with their good work too. Last but not least, I’m very thankful to our guide, Ilkay, who makes my trip to Phillip Island memorable and comfortable. (As I didn’t check weather forecast before hand, I went unprepared and almost couldn’t stand the weather. If not for our well-prepared guide, I might not be able to stand the rain and wouldn’t get to experience the fantastic penguin parade! So big thanks to him :)

I had a wonderful tour with J-Dogs from Melbourne to Adelaide along the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians. Janet showed us beautiful places and told us a interesting stories about the locations and the people. The short hike to Venus Bathes was a bit difficult for me, but J-dogs helpt me through and I am very thankful for that and her energetic and positive personality! I highly recommend her tour!

Wonderful scenic drive down the great ocean road. Gorgeous day. Beautiful surf. Craig and Aiden were great tour guides. Craig grew up in the region and was very knowledgeable. Saw a few koalas in the wild. 12 apostles was crowded. Couldn’t walk down to the beach.

Preferably more time should be allocated to the meal stop so it is not as rushed. The Penguin parade was fascinating, the operators need the authority to confiscate cameras being used to photograph the penguins after sunset, as the visitors had all repetitively been informed it was harmful to the penguins.

We took the reverse great ocean road tour. We were blessed with a brilliant day, weather wise, and the scenery was spectacular. Our tour guide was Misty. She was incredible- friendly, positive, informative and funny. Nothing was too much for her- she was helpful and approachable. Would highly recommend the tour with her.

Had a fantastic time on the tour today. Ilkay was a great tour guide and very humorous. Shared a lot of information about the places we visited but also kept it entertaining throughout the tour. The penguin parade started a little later than estimated but it’s not something that anyone could control. In the end, it was still a great site watching them come out of the water. Would definitely recommend this tour to others!

J Dog has been a great tour guide who has brought so much zest to the trip with her sharing, enthusiasm & love! It was lovely meeting travellers from all over the world too! I had fun enjoying the great view & listening to the stories associated to the places, & hunting down the wild life with camera! The accommodation was great, & we managed to catch sunset during the trip. Would have tried to catch sunrise & star too but weather was not permitting it. Overall I highly recommend this trip!

👍👍 Went on 2 separate tours with Go-West. The first tour was with guide Margaret on the Great Ocean Road. The trip was fun and she was entertaining throughout the trip though the weather was unforgiving and she had to drive for hours. 👍👍 Enjoyed an informative tour around Melbourne CBD. Saw numerous heritage sites and learnt a little of their history. It did rain on our tour, so take an umbrella if rain is forecasted. Highly recommend doing a tour.
