An amazing little bistro in the heart of Surat Thani , delicious vegetarian food, home made juices and an exceptional craftsman owner cooking in an open space little kitchen in front of you, a total experience that is a must- try when in the area !! Totally recommend 10* if I could :)

Five of five star Cozy atmosphere, amazing food and friendly people. I arrived around 8:40 and it’s took long time to get my food but it’s worth it. The chef is doing all by himself and if you want to try his amazing food, you should wait! I’ve ordered Vegan mushrooms Stroganoff and oh my goshhhhhh...

Nice to see that smaller places with originality and their own style have survived the pandemic. After 653km of driving I was looking for a place to sit down and eat - but with most restaurants closing really early the first 3 blocks saw only shut doors - until I saw this place. The food is quite diverse and all freshly prepared by the chef and tasty as well as really reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly. Recommended!

Really tasty food with a lot of vegan options. You have to wait a little but it's worth the wait. Cool vibe, good music and nice Staff.

Arrived off the train and this place seemed to be the only place in town to sit eat and drink. The food is superb, but if your in a group be prepared to share everyone’s meal, it takes a long time to reach the table and we only had 3 dishes! Tempura Prawns delicious, Musaman Chicken was epic , chicken Broccoli Oyster Sauce was the only let down but still nice. 3 dishes 2 large beers 2 gins 600tbh Not a lot open in Surat Thani but if your transiting for the night to one of the islands give this spot a try , you won’t be disappointed!

We needed a place to stay and eat before the flight to Bangkok. Thay have great vegan options and the atmosphere is really nice. We highly recommend for this lovely place 🙂😊

Fabulous dinner, the owner speaks good English and cooks everything fresh. Waiting time might be longer, but you can sit outside in the bustling Thai culture. Fabulous food, perhaps the best burger I’ve had in Thailand. We had 4 dishes and beers and it came up under 1000 baht. Highly rated 🙏🏼

The owner is the chef,the waiter and cleaner! The food might take a bit longer but it worths of waiting! Good stake,very good chicken burger,very good fried rice with seafood. We had 4 main dishes and two beers,we paid less than 800 baht Recommended

One of the best places to eat in Surat Thani town! I’ve pretty much been here everyday and every meal is delicious :) especially vegan and vego friendly! Relaxed and chilled atmosphere and owner is lovely and an amazing cook 🙏

Absolutely delicious food, some of the best we’ve had in Thailand. Came here twice, both times the food was amazing. Consistently great. The food has so much flavour and depth. The owner cooks everything himself in front of you. He’s really friendly and accommodating. The artwork and vibes are cool. Great vegan and veggie options as well as meat. Highly recommend, a must visit.

The man who owns Craft Bistro is so lovely and hand cooks the food himself. It takes a little while but it’s so worth it. I had the Thai red curry noodles and they were incredible. The prawn tempura and satay tofu were great too! We also got margaritas and everything came to just over 200baht each. 10/10 would recommend!

Very nice food in a lovely atmosphere. So refreshing to have a nice vibe at a restaurant, the music was perfect. Very friendly owner. We had a curry and a spaghetti and both were great. Excellent value too.

I Read the Google Reviews about this place but the photos show like very small place I was not sure that can be all good but it was very delicious. I try 3 different food and Leo beer on this place which is spinach with cheese ( 10 point ) chicken breast with small salad which was very fine cooked and fettuccine with mushrooms was very very good . Only one person cook and served you that’s why it’s more waiting time but final results is very good 👍🏻

We came here because of the reviews, but the food was terrible. We had the 'musaman chicken' which tasted like nothing we knew, and had a funny sour taste. The 'musala' chicken tasted almost like the musaman. pad Thai tasted fine, slightly tomatoey. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and the food took a long time to come because it was one man cooking everything.

Flew into Surat Thani late and just arrived at hotel. Luckily this place was nearby and was able to accommodate us. Had delicious renditions of pad Thai and green curry. And nice cold drinks. Enjoy!

Had dinner here last night. Very tasty food and very good value. The owners are very welcoming. Would go back again.

The Green Curry and Tofu burger were amazing, especially for the price. And the owners /staff treated us very nice. I can only recommend this place!!! Toilet not so nice but who cares if everything else is great. Also the seatings are top! Enjoy your stay, food and drink for a very reasonable price!!

Maybe it's because they've just opened in front of me or the cook was in a hurry, but the tea smelled like soap and the soup was basically tasteless. I'll give them another chance but later. I still feel the soap aftertaste. it's not that I had a lot of choice in Suratthani, so I'm glad I found this place. they have a lot of room for improvement tho as someone else already said, the attitude is friendly, but the cooking itself leaves you with mixed feelings

Amazing service, super sweet nice and caring people , great size of the food ( I sometimes struggle with the size of the meal in Thailand..) and the most delicious chicken I have ever had in Thailand! Would definitely come back again and highly recommend to anyone who likes thai or western food
