What a buzz of a place!! How exciting. Lots of people waiting in line! You definitely need a reservation to eat here. Lovely Korean food, very helpful staff to cook your food for you. Their Korean BBQ is done by charcoal! Really nice.We had quite a spread of food and it's all really yummy. Definitely a place to stop when you visit Melbourne. Give stars πŸ–οΈ

A renowned Korean barbecue restaurant located near Queen Victoria Market. It has many customers, so it's recommended to make a reservation in advance. The staff provides friendly and attentive service. The meat is also fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

We came here on a Wednesday night and it was quite busy, despite there having a lot of customers, staff were very attentive and cooked our meat at the table for us. We ordered the β€˜let it mix’ $98 meal which came with three type of meats and a choice of stew, the wagyu was really good but the marinated pork just tasted average. We chose the kimchi pork stew which went really well with an extra bowl of rice ($3.50) we ordered. We also ordered the yukke (korean beef tartare), it was my first time trying it and i’d say it was pretty good, but i wouldn’t get it again, worth trying though :)

I’ve been going to this restaurant for years. My partner and I used to go weekly when we worked in the city. Over time this place gained so much popularity and it makes so much sense. The food, service and atmosphere is impeccable. They deserve every star and so many customers. This stands to be one of my favourite Korean bbqs in Melbourne. Love you Yeonga ❀️ stay forever please.

Great charcoal Korean BBQ opposite Queen Vic Market. Was able to book for a party of 8 online and we had a fabulous time. The food was great & it was better value than many others in the city and just as good or even better options of meat set which we happily washed down with some Korean Cass beers 🍻. Loved the kimchi side dishes, dipping suces and the cheesy corn, egg and rice sticks that came with the bbq meat sets.

I have been wanting to go to Yeonga for ages but always got deterred by the queues, for some reason, not realising they take bookings πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ We had one of the set meals for two w spicy seafood tofu stew. The staff member were so nice, helping us cook cos we are just so useless πŸ˜‚ they also recommended us which dipping sauce to eat the meat with and what condiments to use, which was wonderful given it’s the first time kiddos try Korean BBQ. The wagyu beef that we had was perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth, the pork was beautifully marinated and so mouthwatering. The seafood in the spicy seafood stew was fresh and huge, however not as spicy as we hoped (although it did meant one of the kiddo could eat it). We had such a wonderful time there and kiddos said and I quote: I really love Korean BBQ!! 😍😍😍

Having been years ago, I'm honestly disappointed with our recent visit. Visited on a Sunday night in August 2023. Food portions were normal but obviously pricing had increased. Where years ago we found it good value, it is now pricey. Can't fault the meat or the service though. Loved the corn and cheese you get free but the rice cakes are utter fail.

We had the marinated set plus the wagyu chuck tail. Absolutely worth their prices with such high quality of meat. The complimentary stew comes with the set may seem small, but it is loaded with lots of meat and veggies, and the spiciness is just right! 🀀 The pineapple rice wine was amazing, I finished the whole jug on my own. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ The price per person would fall onto $60-80ish if you're not ordering alcohols.

The marinated meats were absolutely delicious, but what's even better is the service and efficiency in the running of the place, one of the most well run operations I've seen, you never have to ask for anything, the staff are keeping an eye on everything you need.
