Ambiance: Small but trendy spot. Can be a bit loud if its crowded. Fills up quickly, especially on special occassions. Would highly reccommend calling beforehand to check or book in. Food: The food is fantastic! I've had a lot of Vietnamese food, its quite a favorite of ours, and this is definitly in the top 10. The only thing I will say, is that portions are a bit small. In saying that, everything is prepared fresh and very flavoursome. Service: Friendly and polite wait staff.

Named after a boat with an intriguing backstory, stepping into the darkly lit, fairly compact, black themed Vietnamese restaurant wafts the senses with a feeling of mystery and intrigue. Depending on your choices, a few dishes had a sweet ingredient amidst the flavourful spices. And there appears to be a fiery spice section which I'd probably try next time. The owners and staff were very welcoming. You should probably reserve a seating.

Food is alway amazing. Highly recommend the salt and pepper calamari (it’s the best we’ve ever eaten). Great outdoor area with heaters in the winter. Service is always attentive and efficient.

the loud ‘very modern’ music (which was eventually turned down a little) aside… each dish we ordered was executed with finesse, delicacy, appropriate balance and respect for the authenticity of the culinary traditions relevant to vietnam (even the not traditionally vietnamese dishes like pad thai). The freshness of ingredients was obvious visually and in our mouths. It’s unsurprising that this place was booked out by 6:15pm. While it’s Not a bargain price wise, the quality of the dishes prepared by the kitchen is worth a visit and revisits. My compliments to the chef. Now if only other local suburban restaurants on the strathmore / Broadmeadows train line would pick up their game!

Came here because they had the entertainment book voucher. Very good food. Their crispy pork belly starter was amazing. The sauce is particularly unique. Definitely recommend getting that. Will be coming back again for sure.

Wow! I've had some great Vietnamese food but this is tops! I arrived for a late Sunday dinner and this place was sill busy. I had the salt and pepper quail, the chicken ribs (my favourite) and crispy pork belly slices with lime dipping sauce. A lot of preparation goes into these dishes and each was plated, flavoured and textured how I wish. The owners were so pleasant to speak with and passionate about their fresh produce, with the food sourced daily from the markets. The menu is a perfect balance between proud traditional meals and others with a modern twist. Looking forward to coming back on my next trip down from Sydney when the outdoor seating should be open. Apparently a liquor licence will come soon too. Off the beaten track and worth the detour.

Highly enjoyable visit. Food was very tasty, especially the Pho and Wonton soup but even better was the chicken baos! Service was good as was the wine list. There is an outdoor area at the rear of the restaurant which I think would be terrific in summer. We ate inside tonight and it had a nice quiet ambiance. Intending to return to try out the rice paper rolls.

Everyone who wants a favourite local place to go - this is it and if you’re not local it’s worth the Uber or drive. Food and the vibe is great. Also a good selection of wine. I’ll be back for sure!

Food is great and so are the staff except for the owner/ manager. We had a 5pm booking and after 5 min he came up to us and very rudely told us that we weren’t supposed to be there until 8 pm and that we had to leave. We explained that our booking was for 5 pm until 7.30pm. He then proceeded to ask his staff and realised there was 2 bookings with the same name … never came back to apologise

This was my second visit to this restaurant. The food is delicious and the service once again quick and friendly. The atmosphere is very to my liking. Not over crowded and easy for you to speak with each other without shouting.

Ohhhh my goodness! These Gluten Free Chicken Wings are superb. They are tender, crispy, well seasoned yet not salty. .. ..I have only eaten 2, and was compelled to write a review! 💘. Great welcoming service too, even though they were approaching closing time when I placed the order *THANK YOU*

We had a reservation for 7pm but arrived at 6.40pm n was given a table straight away. Wasn't very busy so our food came out very quickly. I highly recommend the PRAWN SPRING ROLLS! THE BEST I've ever eaten! All the food was delicious! The staff are very friendly and our drinks were excellent.

Don’t go if you’re a young family! We made a booking for a family letting them know we’d be coming with a toddler. Our toddler was playing with the light switches which we respectfully stopped (although no one else was in the restaurant). We could see that this was frustrating for the staff and understood that a toddler playing with lights is not ideal. However the grumpy male manager / owner was extremely rude, inhospitable and muttering words under his breath. We apologised but he refused to even acknowledge us. Female manager was kind enough but definitely won’t be returning.

My favourite restaurant within 10km, my go to, love everything on the menu, staff are extremely welcoming and they always go the extra mile. Make sure to get the lettuce cups, you won’t regret it.

Attended for lunch. Intimate environment with very pleasant staff. Food was very tasty and of good portion size. We shared everything so tried quite a few dishes. Staff mentioned a different menu after 3pm which sounds like it is worth checking out also. Will head there again

Very nice food. Would love to go back again but they don't have high chair... Other than that, food is absolutely amazing!

We’ve been here a few times now. Always friendly staff and delicious food. More vegan options would be good, but we’re happy to visit just for the great veg dumplings. 🥟🥟 We had a particularly great experience a while back with our dietary requirements.

It's always nice to dine locally. This venue is quite small with an outside area which was lovely and warm. Menu was fairly extensive but most meals seemed to be quite spicy. Staff were nice and efficient but it was not the best Vietnamese food I've had by a long shot. I was disappointed 😞. Won't return.

We came here a few years ago and it was amazing. I'm very happy to say it's as good as I remember; food is quick, fresh and delicious. The owner was very happy to make substitutions where needed, the place was small and intimate, great to take the family. The menu was diverse and the fusion is done elegantly.

The Manger’s attitude is the worst!!!! There is no staw for the drink, and we asked for the reason, and the staff advised us that is how they worked. I have no problem with that. BUT when we pay the bill, the manger at the counter crossed her arm and GAVE ME A DIRTY LOOK!. That’s disgusting and disrespectful! After giving me the dirty look, she walked away, and I requested to talk to her, but she refused to talk to me as “she is busy.” We wait in the restaurant for 10mins to talk to her, but she stayed at back and refused to talk to me. IT IS NOT OKAY WHEN YOU GIVE CUSTOMERS A DIRTY LOOK JUST BECAUSE WE ASKED ONE QUESTION!!!!!!!!!
