Our number 1 favourite Chinese Malaysian restaurant in the Gold Coast. Friendly staff, very accommodating, authentic and consistent food quality and taste, reasonable prices. Love their chilli sambal and always order everything extra hot. Ipoh fried keow teow, salt & pepper pork ribs, combination laksa, kung po chicken, roti canai, green beans with sambal extra hot, these are some of the dishes we always order in every visit. Oh and their ice kacang dessert is a to-die-for.

Been to Malaysia several times. Definitely most authentic Malaysian cuisine I ever had in Australia! All the goodness from the pan is all in your dish🤩 Always come back when visiting GC! Staff are also nice!

True to its name, Fast Wok serves up some tasty Malaysian fare at speed and value - what's not to love? I've seen this place mentioned multiple times on a Malaysian FB group and it's a solid pick, with potential to replace my previous choice of favourite Malaysian eats on the GC. My Hainan chicken rice wasn't the best I’ve had (chicken could be more tender) but I enjoyed it all the same and overall represents a fairly decent package for $13.50. Wifey's seafood laksa ($14.90) was pretty good too, and whilst our original milk tea ($4.80) with pearls ($0.70) was just average, the ice kacang ($6) was very good and definitely going on my repeat order list. Some other items our friends ordered, all with positive feedback: * jelly fish shredded chicken with dry noodle, $14.90 * roast BBQ meal with 2 selections, $17.50 * ho fun combination, $13.50 Ordering is at the counter, with water and cutlery self-service. Enjoyed our visit here and will definitely come back again.

2 weeks later from last time 😋 I had Seafood Laksa $16.9 today. I had this Laksa 3,4 years ago 😳 Quick service, fresh ingredients and valued price 🤩👍🏻 2 kinds of noodle, creamy curry soup and just right temperature of the soup 🍜 I liked it 🥰 I’d love to try Roast BBQ meal next time 🥳🥳 2 years later. I got take away this time. I had Hainan chicken rice $16.9 and Hokken me $16.9. Chicken was soft 😊 nice with ginger chili (?) sauce 😋👍🏻 Noodle was nice flavor but I like a bit more thinner Hokken noodle 😓 I’d love to dine in there next time 🤗 Beef brisket noodle soup $13.9 for lunch. The soup was very heartwarming😊 The beef was soft👍🏻

Laksa costs around $27.xx, which is way too much.

Do not get takeaway from this place. Someone in the kitchen should be fired for sending food out in this condition. Ordered 3 dishes plus 2 serves spring rolls (4 pieces). 1 serve is inedible and visually obvious. Burned beyond any hope (and one springroll somehow squashed). 2 of the main dishes were also very bad. Beef was stringy, tough, and had a distinct bicarbonate of soda taste. Chicken in one of the other dishes was dry and tough. Other chicken dish was ok. Really disappointing as I used to enjoy getting food from this place.

Best Chinese & Malaysian restaurant in the Gold Coast! Fantastic food as always, but it would be great if they make nice milk tea or lemon tea.

An unexpected gem hidden in plain sight! Great food. The best Malay food I’ve had in ages. Wish I photos of the food but it was so inviting it didn’t last long.

Food is pretty great I usually will only go to Sunnybank in Brisbane for my Asian food but this place was highly comparable and it will definitely become a regular for us! Pic is of beef hotpot which was beautiful.

Love this restaurant! Delicious food and great service. The staff even spoke my language (hokkien) which is really rare! Made my night! Highly recommended if you are looking for Malaysian Chinese cuisine 👌 👍

What a huge disappointment....got home to find a serve of very burnt spring rolls and an over fried, over cooked, hard and stringy serve of honey chicken. The steamed rice was okay so I had to improvise and cook something else for the grandkids as our Chinese dinner was inedible.

Me and my family were regular customers. But tonight was kind of disappointed. Firstly, we found out their price has gone up. Which is understandable plus it's dinner. But what really shocked and disappointed us was we were treated differently. We saw every customers paid their bill after they finished their meals but what had happened to us was different. Once our meals had arrived on our table the elder lady brought an eftpos machine and asked us to pay immediately. we have never encountered this before in this restaurant and making me felt extremely uncomfortable. I dont mind ordering at the counter and pay, but hated being treated differently. Too bad it was one of our regular lunch place.

You know a restaurant is good when it is always busy. We usually eat the same dishes because they are so good but occasionally try something new which just adds to our list of favourites. My only complaint is how busy it has become but it really does deserve their success. This is the best restaurant we have found on the Gold Coast.

Amazing, my family loved the sweet and sour chicken. I liked how they had a clean water filter, yummy food. The restaurant was exceptionally clean. The food price was reasonable for the amount of food we ate.
