You couldn't ask for a better location, across the road from the Kurrawa surf club and sitting stop the Oasis shopping mall. Our ocean room had unopposed views to the beach, the rooms are comfy and well appointed. We enjoyed the pool and tennis court, and the service was generally very good, Nicky was friendly and accommodating at reception. I would highly recommend a stay here

My first time staying here and the photos on the site look amazing but I was dubious about what I was really going to get, I stayed in a one bedroom on the 17th floor. The view in the apartment of the ocean was amazing I couldn't have wished for better, the apartment itself was just as it was on the website ,spacious and modern enough and clean. I Couldn't have wished for better , The staff were very friendly, my whole experience of staying there was amazing, its situated in a perfect spot . I'll definitely be going back again.

Everyone that doesnt like it here - havent realised its a set of privately owned apartments (like most around Broadbeach and Surfers) and the quality will vary substantially. We have stayed in several, and the first two we were shown had NEVER been upgraded since they were built in 2006! So a word to the wise - when you book here - ask for a recently renovated apartment or one with recent upgrades to furniture etc. If you get one where the AC doesnt work properly go to one like we did where the AC had not only been replaced but upgraded as well! The views though are to die for in the 1 bedrooms and any front apartments. The Northern faced apartments get hot in summer but fare better in winter so make sure the AC works in Summer! The southern ones are more windblown too - all year. Access to Woolworths and the shopping centre below is great and where you buy the Nespresso coffee pods and better toilet paper if thats your thing. Close to all the top restaurants Mamasan, Social and of course the reliable Kurrawa for your tasty pub meals - or Elk below for your morning coffees. So remember ask for recently renovated or upgraded apartments only - it will save you a lot of grief and get you a TOP place to stay where you will sit and watch the migrating whales or just watch the water....before you go to a great dinner!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and outstanding service. As advertised the room delivered a breath taking view of the foreshore. Brilliant location enabled us to walk everywhere and soak up the beauty of Broadbeach. Many thanks to the helpful desk staff and manager. A memorable visit indeed!

We booked two 2-bedroom apartments for 5 people, staying a week. Room 3101 - AMAZING! The room looks like it must have recently been renovated. we walked in and were amazed at not only the views but the newness of the apartment! It was really well presented, very clean and spacious! The two bedrooms each had a tv (decent size) which was great for some downtime. The views are just spectacular from every angle. The shopping centre underneath is extremely handy and the Kurrawa Surf Club is a must to eat at (across the road). The only downsize I found was the pillows were a little lacklustre Room 3601 - Views were fantastic!! The apartment itself does need some renovations though (compared to above). The showers and pillows (again) were the main complaints, so nothing major and had we not have had the two rooms, no one would've been the wiser. We didn't interact much with staff other than check in/out but that was a seamless process and absolutely no complaints at all! Location was fabulous and we would definitely stay here again!! Room 3601

I stayed here 10 years ago and was blown away - now not so much. For the exorbitant prices ($850 ocean one bedroom two nights) the service is bad, the front reception didn’t know they had a car park intercom. The room was dirty with hair on the beds, cig butts on the balcony and food under the microwave. We stayed in 1305 and were deeply dissatisfied and won’t be staying again ! The views to the ocean are amazing if just someone bothered to clean the windows. NEVER AGAIN

BOOK ELSEWHERE! There's tired/dated and then there's poorly and cheaply designed and finished. Air on Broadbeach is all of the above! Flimsy, tacky kitchenette and two bedrooms with cupboards but no draws nor suitable storage space. And bathrooms with no ventilation so they become swamp-like in minutes. The smallest bathroom sink ever. Very disappointed considering the cost for this one- week getaway. Mid-stay housekeeping that doesn't include cleaning the floors nor bathrooms. Reception staff that never look up with a smile nor a greeting. Of my many Gold Coast stays, this is by far the worst. Never again. JUST RECEIVED A RESPONSE FROM THE PROPERTY AND WANT TO ADD TO MY REVIEW: Actually Craig's (Air Manager) response to my Review is incorrect. I did question the Housekeeping service yesterday and was told by the Front Desk staff that only linen and towels replacement are offered during the stay. His reference to the bathroom is also incorrect. There is NO exhaust fan in there. Great that Craig provided the kitchen specs, but it's flimsy and grimy. And working with the owner on an apartment refurbishment is warranted given the state of this room. But that doesn't provide a quick resolution. So potential future guests beware!

We escaped for a last minute getaway for a couple of days and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ultiqa Air Broadbeach. The customer service was fantastic, with the team accommodating a very short notice booking and after hours check in. The room was very spacious, with lovely high ceilings and VERY clean. Decked out with large screen TVs and all the pay TV options. Best part though, was the incredible views. Uninterrupted, which is hard to find with so many buildings popping up these days. If you’re looking for a central option, walking distance to cafes, groceries, restaurants etc, it’s the best! Small point - the pool area is very spacious and has an awesome lap pool, but a bit boring. It’s not what we went for so in the scheme of things we didn’t care, especially when you’re opposite the beautiful beaches and the flags right out front!

The location was perfect and room was lovely - my only complaint was that the taps in bathroom leaked slightly even when turned off tight - for this reason, they were difficult to turn on and off both at the basin and shower, as well as the shower hose being broken. Only small maintenance issues that could be fixed, but otherwise didn’t affect our stay. We stayed in Room 1104, it was clean and comfortable & the view of the beach was beautiful. We will definitely be returning!

Once again we enjoyed a restful holiday stay at AIR on Broadbeach. Observations and comments we want to pass onto the Management Team as follows for apartment 2303 1. The dishwasher leaks about 1-2 L per cycle 2. The timer on the clothes dryer does not work 3. Only one bedside light provided 4. The dining table is much higher than the plastic chairs provided. Not matched and uncomfortable. 5. Good comfortable couch - a little difficult for older people to get up from because of the low height. 6. No dust pan and hand broom provided. 7. No instructions provided for the tv system & 3 remotes. 8. Only one armchair provided. Overall a very comfortable stay- the cleaning team members were excellent, as was service at the reception desk. We will be returning again soon we hope.

The view and location are incredible! This is the only place we stay when travelling to the Gold Coast. No street noise, just perfect beach front views. All restaurants, supermarket and shopping centre conveniently located at your doorstep. The facilities are without a doubt the best that I've seen in an apartment building. Pool, gym, tennis court and sauna. My only request if the aircon can increase in the gym area In particular in the morning, when the morning sun hits the room. Staff are always so helpful and friendly, we always feel so welcomed. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, including a capsule coffee machine. My only comment for the rooms is thicker curtains to allow for a little sleep in, but that doesn't bother us too much. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting and already looking forward to our next stay!

The location is perfect; close to the beach, restaurants & cafes. The rooms were less than impressive; old furniture (the couch had a big wooden hard spot the whole way through), the beach views would have been lovely but the shutters were broken & abstracted half the view & the windows were so filthy it was hard to see. Pool, gym/ sauna facilities were great. A little room refresh & some good cleaning could make this the perfect place to stay!

Stunning spot really enjoyed staying here. Beautiful view and beautiful location super central to everything. The electric bike station across the road made everything super accessible!

I found it difficult to access the after hours entry to reception. The speaker was too high (I'm not tall) and the assistant found it difficult to communicate with me. After confirming my id she then couldn't open the front door. I had to wait for someone to exit before being able to access reception and then accessing lockbox for our key. No problems after this to eventually access our room which although was rather starkly furnished, was comfortable and had WOW views.

The ocean view is just fabulous, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony just relaxing. The room amenities were good, great to have quiet dishwasher and washing machine. The staff members were friendly, particularly Nikki on the front desk. She was a delight to deal with at all times.

I loved my 3-week stay in room 1205. The views were outstanding and remote controlled blinds in living area were fantastic in reducing morning sun glare. We had trouble with operating blinds in main bedroom but still did not detract from enjoying this fabulous 2-bedroom suite. Incredible location to shops, beach, transport and restaurants. Corridor from lift to room could do with a refresh - maybe ready for my next year’s stay!

Elisha at reception was amazing. From the day we made the booking until the day we left. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. The front ocean views were absolutely beautiful. We could have done with more bench space in bathroom. We will definitely be back and will share with our friends.

We had a great 1 bedroom apartment facing the ocean. The check-in staff were excellent. Everything was great in the apartment except for two things that you would normally expect from a premium accommodation: 1) Kitchen: Although we ate out a lot, sometimes we had some simple breakfast in the room. However there were no kitchen tea towels, dishwasher powder/tablets, dish scourer or other cleaning needs for kitchen. The dishwasher had no basket to put the knives and forks in either. 2) The TV in the main area was one of the cheapest brands of LED screen you can buy, and had the worse audio you could imagine from it's "tinny" built-in speaker. We just wanted to keep up on the news while away but had to abandon it due to the low quality TV audio being so irritating to the ears! These are simple and low cost things to fix in such a premium accommodation.

Our holiday staying at ULTIQA Air on Broadbeach was absolutely wonderful. The room was well set out with plenty of room and the view was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to stay in a great location near the beach and close to shops/restaurants/cafes etc. Thank you ULTIQA Air on Broadbeach :-)

On the whole this was a great place to stay. The view was to die for There were however a few issues which prevented me from giving it five stars. We had a two Bedroom Suite. The room which My Sister occupied had no full length mirror. The only one was behind the door in the Master Bedroom. The unit was a bit tired and could have done with bit of an update. The Unit was large and spacious. Which was great. It was great having room service on the 4 th day of our stay.

Stayed here around 3 years ago and it was great.. this time not so great. Our room had a fantastic view, air conditioning was good, staff were friendly and we had a comfy couch but that’s where it ends. Our room had this awful smell in it from the moment we entered, anytime we ran water the smell would appear. The taps in the bathroom would drip unless you tightened with an insane amount of strength. The shower was awful; mould on the head and the pressure is completely off.. the hairdryer lives in the cupboard and it was so useless i had to sit on the toilet seat below it took so long to work (it’s wall attached). The fan in the bedroom had dust and rust on it, balcony furniture was weather damaged, walls had obvious water damage, carpet in the bedroom was gross and the tv in the bedroom was not working.. Don’t think the views were worth $440 a night :(.. we left pretty disappointed.

Beautiful place with great view!! Very close to everything (restaurants-beach and coffee). Very nice workers there specially barbara and the front desk worker :) the apartment wasn’t very clean outside (spiderwebs) in the balcony. Inside wasn’t clean 100%, was dirty under the table and sofas. The pool, sauna and gym was fantastic!! I reckon to add a raid mosquito killer because in the night is full of them :)

This location is perfect and apartments have everything you need. We went away as a family and absolutely loved it. With the shopping centre downstairs and plenty of dining options I can’t fault this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking to head to the Gold Coast.

Extremely disappointed with this hotel. It was our honeymoon and we paid a fortune (approximately $500 per night - much more in comparison to other Gold Coast hotels) but our room smelt like urine. When we reported this it looked as though they bleached the shower but the smell was still very strong. On top of this the room was dirty and towels were stained. We scrubbed the floors ourselves and bought air fresheners but nothing got rid of the urine smell. Our curtains couldn’t be closed without getting stuck closed and our TV remote didn’t work. Wish I could have gotten a refund and booked somewhere else for the remainder of our stay. Update: the owner replied and suggested at no time were their staff made aware. Well they lied to you. It is truely disappointing that you care so little about your guests that you would attempt to call them liars. We reported it to Craig at the front desk, you’re welcome to check your cameras Thursday 30 June 2022 early morning and as mentioned they sent someone up but what ever was done didn’t fix the problem. Why would I lie about this? It serves me no purpose other than warning others that one of your rooms stunk like urine.

Great views of beach Stayed in a one bedroom apartment with ocean view The apartment needs to be updated with a fresh paint job as walls and doors have scratches and stains . The bathroom extraction fan did not work and decor was dated. Location was great Would rate hotel 3.5 stars only because needs a update

Just stayed in a one bedroom apartment at Ultiqa Air on Broadbeach and had a lovely holiday break. The views are amazing and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Staff were extremely helpful and anything we asked of them was never any trouble, they were all very obliging. Perfect location with Woolworths directly under the building plus a myriad of other shops and eateries. The short walk to Pacific Fair was also great. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time at Altiqua. The "3 bedroom Gold Coast view" room was amazing. We had views of the beach and the night lights of the city at night. The room was modern, really clean and with all the ammenities we needed. The location was perfect with a supermarket, all the restaurants and of course the beach right on our doorstep it was also walking distance to Pacific Fair. We thought the3 staff were very helpful and polite at all times. Will definitely be return guests.

Our apartment was great. Fully equipped kitchen and nice decor. The location is perfect with restaurants and shopping centre directly below. The view is absolutely stunning, I mean really stunning! The staff are super friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend staying here.

Great views, location and cleanliness. Fairly quiet at night. Whale watching from the living room. Very bright in the morning as per an east facing apartment. Close proximity to parks for kids. Front desk not particularly friendly or helpful, but only really had to interact with them once.

I’m staying here at the moment and have mixed feelings about the place. The views are superb and location is amazing but the unit itself is very average. The outdoor furniture is so old and dirty, the blind in the living room is missing the cord, so I climb on a chair to manually put up and down. The kitchen is so unequipped! On day one I asked the front desk for a sharp knife, a kettle that didn’t have the handle broken off the lid. They did respond immediately and I received a new kettle and 3 knifes. Brilliant! So this solved a few necessities, but with a family of 6- if eating in the room we are sharing a knife to cut our meat etc. The dishwasher is absolutely useless- i stopped trying to use it after day 2 as it was not cleaning. I am now hand washing the dishes after each meal. Staying here during the school holidays has cost me a pretty penny so I guess my expectations were high and this unit has failed to deliver. Could I also mention that the car park is at the top of the shopping centre car park. So 4 floors up through the car park and then you enter the gate to the hotel parking. You don’t really need to get your car out often as you can walk to everything, but when do you need it, it’s not an easy process. I don’t want to poo poo every unit, as others may be different to the one I’m in. Im in a 3 bedroom on level 15.

First time here great location. We had a one bedroom apartment great space and great view of the ocean. The ladies at the front desk where very friendly. We had to wait for our room so we where offered to leave our bags and go out for a drink next door . Once our room was ready we went up to our room. First impressions was great room but there was an awful smell in the room . I asked them to freshen the room up again which they did for us . Much better now . They where all very nice and friendly. Had a great time and will be back. location and view fantastic.

Great place to stay! Room was awesome. Only thing holding me back from 5 star is that there was no spa in the pool area!

  • 3/5 Veronia R. 1 year ago on Google
View from the room is superb, don’t get me wrong but apart from that? Customer service is non existent. The guy at the reception could do with a smile. Reception hours only 9-5?? Nahhh Wifi password in room is incorrect and you have to call some local provider for assistance so couldn’t be bothered. Bed is old and tired including bedsheet. Blind is old so is the curtain and it can get really hot. Kitchen is huge but no power point for kettle?!! (Had to plug it on the floor) No amenities for $550 per night. E.g ONE tiny milk and only 2 small sachets of coffee for a 2-bedroom apartment. Only 1 person can have a coffee in room? Very stingy if you ask me. Overall no value for your money. What a pity for such a view and location.

I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately just couldn't... The location is just fantastic. Right across the road from the beach, you can sit on the balcony and hear the waves. Minimal traffic noise at night. Great sized balcony with table and chairs, where we spent a lot of time. You are also over the restaurants and Woolies. Our unit had a nespresso machine with the milk frother as well which was good. Bed was comfy (king size). There was plates, glass ware and cutlery that covered what we needed. Furniture was nice. As some other reviews state, it's a little dated and old. Each unit I believe is individually owned, so they will vary. Ours didn't have heavy curtains in the bedroom, so when the sun rose so did we. It was also very hot from the sun beating in on the mornings (there was a light pull down blind, but it let through a lot of light and heat, plus there was a gap between the blinds). The shower was a joke. One small water saving head which was just enough to get you wet. The TV was complicated to work. There were two sound systems in this unit, one of which didn't seem to work (I couldn't even get it to play the radio).

Location is perfect. Views great, BUT, for the money we paid, at $550 a night, especially during a time where tourism is just starting to trickle in, we expect much better quality for that price. Very disappointed. The front desk staff are nice though. The following sums up the experience and I have photos of everything if Google allows the upload. - Provided towels are old, thin and have holes in them. - They charge $5 for 1 beach towel. - Furniture is old and weathered. Outdoor table all but falling apart. - The cheap toilet paper rolls are set on the wall BEHIND the toilet and below knee hight. Pretty much impossible to reach whilst sitting down. - Shower head and hose are rusty and mouldy. - Internal Doors are severely water damaged and flared at the bottom. - Walls are all marked, scratched and have chipped paint all over the place. - The main TV is an ancient non HD Hisense. I mean, probably one of the first LCD’s released. - The bedroom TV is the same as above, only miniature. - Unless you tighten the taps with the strength of Thor, they will drip. - The room curtains are dirty and VERY old - Carpet in one of the bedrooms had what looks to be blood drop stain. I could go on but I’m honestly getting embarrassed now, both for myself and the host. I’ve heard that these rooms are all privately owned so it might be an unfair review to generalise the whole building, so for anyone wondering, avoid room 1204 unless the price is $200 a night, not $550. When we called to book, we asked about the age and condition and were assured by the lady on the phone that the room we were getting was recently renovated. Not sure how they categorise a “renovation” but this is not that, this is garbage. $1,100 for two nights at THIS place is damn criminal. For the same money, a 5 star fully serviced resort could be had with a huge brand new room and insane features. Sorry for the long and harsh sounding review but I’m just being as honest about our experience as possible, and I could go on. At least it’s close to the beach with a nice view though. $550 a night 🤣🤣 jee wizz!
