I am very reserved in my opinion of restaurants, and I have dined at many Chinese restaurants in Melbourne. However this restaurant was so terrible I felt the need to write this review. Because the reviews of this restaurant are positively decieving. This is what originally drew me and friends to eat at this restaurant. What eventuated was one of the worst dining experiences I have had. The water was stale and tasted salty. We then ordered some coke zero to wash away the bad taste. However when we drank it, there was no flavouring. It was just soda water. The spring rolls which had for entrees had no meat at all even though on the menu, it specifies that they were chicken spring rolls. Instead there was a translucent lumpy paste. When the mains arrived we were still optimistic on the taste of the food. Hoping that the good food will redeem the experience thus far. Unfortunately our optimism dissapeared when all the food was found to be sub par. The fried rice had no seasoning and was tasteless. The beef tenderloin was incredibly soggy and oily. And the taste was also very tangy, similar to the taste of spoiled meat. The beef noodles was the same. Soggy, tasteless, tangy. Needless to say my experience here was terrible. And I write this review with the best intentions to help shed some truth of the actual taste of the food here, because the reviews on this restaurant are not true.

Authentic Chinese Cuisine with reasonable price. Excellent!!

Was told to go here as it was recommended as a restaurant serving authentic Chinese food. For the most part it was good, not great. The flavours were weak but thankfully a couple of their dishes were beautiful and made up for it. I would have given three stars on food alone but the owner was very lovely.

We ordered 6 dishes all were cold and we live 6 minutes down the road sweet and sour pork it was gluggy and tasteless . Chicken and cashews x2 Not a full container and about 10 cashews . Honey chicken was just batter hardly any chicken gluggy . Garlic prawns was 10 prawns for $26 could hardly taste garlic . Fried rice was tasteless . I have been to alot of Chinese takeaway this was the worst I have ever had .

Wasn't cheap, but quality was absolutely A1. So fresh. The herbs tasted like they had been freshly picked. Garlic prawns were huge. Food was a lot more traditional than regular Chinese take away. Service was broken English but they do their best. Very happy. 😊

Possibly more authentic Chinese than others. Order was taken in Chinese, menu needed to be read carefully, etc. I was hoping it'd be awesome but unfortunately it wasn't to our liking. Just felt fried rice was oily and a little bland. Mongolian lamb similar. Sweet & sour pork was okay. Rating reflects our experience and tastes.

Service a little slow. Fried rice didn't seem to be fried. Monoglian lamb very oily. Sweet/ sour pork and honey chicken was very nice. Menu missing some of main chinese favourites prawn toast, chicken chowmein and sweet/sour combination unsure if we will go back

Had dinner tonight spring rolls were lovely nice & hot, shared 2 mains with rice. Food came out nice n hot & special rice was great. Young man that was our waiter was efficient & very polite thank you all for a lovely meal no wonder there were so many locals there. If nearby & you feel like chinese don' t go past !!
