This Thai restaurant's food taste is different from others. It seems that the meals are cooked in western way. I can't tell it's authentic or not. Maybe chef has done some adjustment to adapt local preference. Anyway, it still tastes good. But some ingredient like snake beans are really hard and raw...

Lovely little cosy Thai restaurant. Beautiful food great staff, fantastic service, good pricing and couldn't help noticing most patrons were returne customers. Located in Pitstop Ashmore on Nerang Southport rd. I thoroughly recommend.

Excellent Restaurant. Delicious meal of Satay Chicken and Rice. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The table setting was beautiful and not at all what I expected. The chicken was cooked well and succulent. The rice tasted great. But it was the stay sauce that stole the show, so tasty with great texture and flavour. I highly reccomend Chilli Thai - 5 stars

My son took me here for dinner, we chose this place based on the previous reviews and it did not disappoint. Joy was so lovely and the food was delicious. Definitely recommended.

Disappointing. We had quite a nice authentic meal last year but not so great this time. Food was flavourful but not entirely traditional. The pad Thai had a tomato base instead of tamarind and lacked the char flavour of a well seasoned wok. The tofu was also bland. The massaman tasted more like a yellow curry and lacked the true spiced complexity of this iconic Muslim curry. The potatoes appeared to have been cooked separately or added very late and were undercooked. The green curry was better and had a good amount of spicy heat. The fish cakes were firm but tasty and the curry puffs were enjoyable.

Tried the Pad Thai and it was pretty nice, but very different to all the many Pad Thais I have tried before. It has its own unique ketchup-y flavor. Still tastes good, would try other items on the menu.

Was searching restaurant around Ashmore this one came up, went there food is so yummy and the owner is so nice too, there are only few Thai restaurant can make the food reach the hot level i want if you like spicy food please come there

Nothing overly memorable I'm afraid. Smallish portions and rather expensive for the overall experience. Left hungry after ordering main & entree. Friendly service.

You want a small meal high price this place is the go to, my 9yr old would need 3 mains. Looks like all frozen vegetables as well no flavour. I had to send a search party to find the noodles I recommend the Thai in Chirn Park much better food and portions great value. I ask owner where is the noodles in the Pad See Ew Answer her customers love not the answer you want to hear.

Small potion if compare with price, food was not too bad but you can find other better. Order beef but got prawn, the owner so talkative seem like no one to talk to for long time.

Joy is amazing host, if you can catch her if it's quiet! Food is glorious. Herbs are fresh and organic. Wine selection is A-grade. Definitely coming back while we're in the area!

We’ve just stumbled along chilli Thai and we are honestly impressed by service but especially the food! Such good high quality food! Right amount of spice and probably the best salad and dressing I’ve ever had! So good! Would love to come back!

I was feeling like I was getting the flu so I asked the very nice lady for a pepper Basil stir fry, very hot. That very nice lady did not mess about. Great stir fry, heaps of beef, good veg, uncomfortably hot and very enjoyable. 10/10 thank you nice lady.

Food was fabulous, fresh and delicious. Dropped in for lunch and really enjoyed it. Fabulous owner grows all her own herbs. Had a lovely glass of bubbles as well. Highly recommend

I love Joy’s Thai restaurant that is close to my working studio - she always has priority for very fresh vegetables ( she sources them herself).!!! Joy has owned this business for 10 years - well done👏👏👏

Bit quiet in the restaurant but can't understand why. Most authentic Thai I've had on the GC. Food was divine. Pineapple fried rice was on point.

Food was amazing! The lady that served me was very lovely. Only problem was I ordered fried rice and asked for extra egg and just got home to see there is no egg at all in the meal. Bit disappointing but the food being delicious makes up for it.

Overall one of my favourite Thai restaurants i’ve visited. Greeted instantly and politely, worker there was extremely kind and enthusiastic. Was checking up on our visit appropriately. As for the food, extremely good price as to competitors in both NSW and QLD, food size may be a little small to entirely fill you up but definitely worth in relation to prices.

I really enjoyed chilli Thai! The lady serving us was so kind and friendly and she checked up on us while we were eating our food but left us alone to enjoy our meal without hovering around our table unlike some other places. I ordered the pad see ew and it was amazing!!! There weren’t too many vegetables which I loved as you get more noodles and beef and the presentation of the dish was set out really nice. For the price the portion size was decent and filled me up. I also ordered satay chicken skewers for starters and the peanut sauce was good too I really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this Thai place to anyone when in the area!!

I luv this place and the staff r soooo lovely located in pitstop complex sweet sour chicken omg! 🤤😋yum!! Curries Tom yum soup just beautiful flavours it’s def my favourite on the GC gets really busy fri sat nights so make sure u order ahead 🥰

What a shame this restaurant is. The lady at the front and chef were so rude. We asked if chill and basil could be added to a dish and the chef said she doesn't want to do it. So the front desk lady just told just to go away and leave because we asked a question. With that attitude I hope the owner can stay afloat!! Disgusting attitude and treatment of people that are paying to feed you!!

Great food, best thai fry ry on the coast, good prices and excellent service and very friendly staff. All round a really yummy Thai restaurant with outstanding service.

Have had a few different meals here and all are very good, the Thai beef salad is the best I’ve ever had and the chicken stir fry with cashew nut sauce is amazing
