Nice designed hotel in center of city. The room is smaller than 30 sqm and not much space. Very modern. The reception is very bad. She didn't want to let me check in before 14:00 even the room was ready. She asked for additional 200 baht just for get the room one and half hour before.... That make me feel unwelcomed...... WiFi in some arias good but not everywhere.

Nice room, reasonable price but you must walk to the 5th floor (as they start from G and not from 1) to get to your room if you are on the 4th... Overall the staff was friendly, but the staff in the lobby was not very service minded. They seemed more interested in themselves, their phones, and food. You also had to inform a day in advance at what time you would take your breakfast and you had a choice of 4 type of chicken dishes and drinks.

Good vibes. Nice design. Convenient parking. Value for the money. Only 7-800 Baht per night with breakfast. Walking distance to Surin night bazar (great to enjoy street foods).

A very nice looking hotel near the centre of Surin. The hotel itself seems to pride itself on it's greenery, with plants everywhere including the rooms. The breakfast area is small but a really pleasant place to have breakfast. The breakfast itself though I found a little average. The main meal at breakfast is La Carte and needs to be ordered the day before with a supplementary buffet available. There are 4 or 5 breakfast Asian dished and one western that can be ordered. The Asian dish that my wife ordered was good and arrived hot, but the western dish (Americana), which consisted or 2 small sausages, some ham and a fried Egg all arrived cold as if they had just been taken from the fridge and is not recommended. The small supplementary buffet was nice. The building does not have lifts which means to most that a lower floor is more premium especially if you have suitcases with you or in and out a lot. The rooms themselves are great, with a modernist style and laid out well. Beds and pillows where comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel itself can only be accessed by a small laneway which can be dark at night, though the location is only a short walk to the night markets, 7-11 etc. The hotel does have parking but it is limited. Outside of the breakfast the only minor issues was a mosquito that was hiding in one of the plants in the room and a shower drain that would sometimes take a while to drain, both which could just be specific with my visit.

Loved this place! Very beautiful with an open - forest concept. Super friendly staff. Extremelyyyy affordable rooms. Not many breakfast options, however, all choices were extremely delicious. Fast wifi. Vending machines with beer. Heads up- there is no elevator. Would definitely book this place again!

The hotel concept was designed to merge with nature. Decorated with many plants in earth tone. This hotel has 4 floors without elevator. The room was clean together with Smart TV with youtube and Netflix(your own account) were available, free WIFI, hair dryer and minibar. The bathroom was OK but the flor drain was nearly obstructed. The breakfast was good, a person per dish. Credit card was acceptable.

Good and modern hotel in Surin. Very central in the city. The rooms are nice and the equipment is good (f.e. smartTV). The staff is very helpful.

This review is specifically about the coffee bar at the ground floor, not the full hotel review. I visited there in the morning and the vibe was excellent, as a local people here, I was blown away by the interior. Rumor said that the coffee bar is kind of a tempirary rental, run as a branch of Craft Cafe, that is already open in another part of the town. I had regular iced latte and a piece of coconut pie, they were nice as a standard of this cafe. I hope this cafe bar in the Wood Hotel will open more perminantly or in a longer term, since the rumor said that the Crafts will open for a few months then may be moved to some other area in city. I can confirm that it is good, but not where it will move to.

A lovely modern hotel, but the staff really make this hotel shine. They were very helpful on several occasions, going above and beyond to make our stay better. Thank you!

Too dirty. A lot of insect inside the room and on the bed. Housemate did not change the blanket.

This hotel have a uniqe design. When you come to the room, you will find some plant inside the room.

We booked this hotel through a well-known booking agency. The booking was fully paid and confirmed 8 days before the check-in date. We started our trip a few days before the check-in date and were 300 KM away from home We received a call from the booking agency 2 days before the date saying that the hotel has over booked and the hotel had to cancel our booking. The agency compensated us with apology cash credit, but it was nearly impossible to find a room during a festive season. We felt the hotel was very unprofessional and irresponsible.

We stayed on 2nd floor. Our room was clean, spacious and quiet, the bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. We loved the friendly and helpful employees and the beautiful lobby with all the greenery and interesting furniture. The breakfast was yummy and plentiful. Very unusual: We could not find a restaurant anywhere in the area. The nearby night market saved our day… 😉

Quite hard to find location... Not on the main street... Bed is clean.. unfortunately the room we stayed had a leaking aircond... This place is usually quite popular so do book in advance...
