    I was happy to find that I could book a last minute appointment with a doctor just for an Rx; however, the didn’t call me for my appointment. I sent two emails and they finally responded (an hour after the scheduled call) asking me for a photo and telling me someone would be calling me “after x time”. This would be 2 hours from the initial appointment. While they did call me back, and said they were going to send a prescription, my pharmacy still hasn’t received it after about 5 hours. They don’t have a contact phone number, only email. Probably wouldn’t use this service again, it’s too unreliable.

    I used the telehealth capability pending finding a family doctor. I booked for an apt within 24 hrs. The Dr I spoke with called spot on time, asked pertinent questions and did the refills within minutes - this will be my goto service from now on.

    Terrible experience. I wish I'd read the reviews before making an appointment. Short version: the technology is abysmal, and I was never contacted for my appointment. I registered and made an appointment online this morning, when few clinics were open to take a call. Website confirmed time and date, and I received an email reminding me of their $50 no-show/cancellation fee. Appointment time came and went. No confirmation, no update, no phone number to call. 1.5 hours after my appointment time, I "cancelled" by sending an email, and indicated that I would not be paying a no-show or cancellation fee.

    Unreliable service. I made an appointment, and never got a phone call so i made another appointment with a different for 2 days later (earliest I could get), again the doctor never called me. There's no contact info for the doctors so you can't call their office. Service is far too unreliable and a waste of time. I just hope that these doctors are billing MSP for patients that they didn't see.

    As what have been mentioned by the previous reviews, this place is run like a scam call center in India. Doctors have no regards for people's time!!!!! VERY VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE. He called and he was talking very fast (medical terms) that a person could not understand! When I asked him, what are the components of this pill that he is prescribing and is this similar to what I am currently taking now, he told me that he is not in the position to tell me that. Why should I buy a medicine that I don't know exactly what's in it?! He even interrupted me ALL THE TIME that I can't even finish one sentence! He keeps on telling me that the consultation is just 5 minutes. Ok and so does that give him the right to be disrespectful towards his patients?! And now, I'm waiting for the pharmacy's call for the prescription and no call has come through yet! Don't waste your time with these scammers!

    This process was so easy and the doctors are efficient and personable. I have accessed this service about 4 times now, mainly for prescription re-fills and it has been painless each time. I am really grateful for this option with work commitments and pandemic concerns and would absolutely recommend to others! :)

    I am extremely upset with the care I got today from Dr. H Raza he was extremely dismissive wouldn’t let me speak and wasn’t very helpful or polite very upsetting. I won’t be speaking with him ever again. It is very upsetting especially because I’m suffering with a UTI thankfully the pharmacist at London drugs was nice enough to help me!

    Amazing experience! I needed an urgent prescription refill because my family doctor moved away and I have been looking for walk-in clinics near me, but every one I checked online seemed to be fully booked for days. I finally found this one, and their website said they had availability today, even though this was about an hour before they closed. I filled out the form and booked a phone appointment. Quite literally 10 minutes later, I received a phone call from the doctor! She called an hour early from the time I had booked, which was actually convenient for me. She was kind and very thorough. She asked a lot of questions to get a full picture of my current state of overall physical and mental health, which I appreciate very much. She was very efficient. The whole process of booking the appointment, speaking to the doctor, getting my prescriptions refilled, and then having them faxed to my pharmacy was very quick and painless. Highly recommended!!

    Horrible experience, unreliable service. They do not answer the phone. Their voice mail box is full. They are impossible to get ahold of. I needed a doctor note urgently, for my employer and my exam. They are inconsiderate that this is urgent. When they took my e-transfer. I expect the doctor note to be received immediately. Otherwise, this feels like a scam. This is just stressing me out. I am not sure if their hours on Google are accurate. Update - It's been 2 days, they deposited my money and still I have not received the doctor's note. I had to go to another clinic (med care plus), and the receptionist gave it to me immediately after my online appointment. Please don't go to this unreliable doctor's clinic

    Made a phone appointment and no call or notice they were canceling. Edited to add: they called me the very next day saying there was an emergency and asked if I wanted to reschedule.. where the heck was my call that day i sat waiting for? I did not reschedule because I already went through another doctor that was more than happy to help me at another clinic. This was just awful customer service. Then after I declined rescheduling, the doctor called an hour later and his English was so poor I couldn't understand a word he said! Even after i told them i was helped somewhere else! Do not bother with this joke of an office. Would give 0 stars if I could.

    I booked an appointment on June 7 at 11am to receive a call for a prescription. Waited till 11.20am and still no callback. So I called and asked to speak to a doctor. Was able to get one at about 12pm however, I did not receive my prescription after the consultation. On top of that, I received a no show warning email on June 7 saying I missed my appointment. I responded explaining my situation but haven’t got a reply yet. It’s now June 23. I also sent another message explaining my situation about a week ago online on their website after trying to call them. FYI after all that, I still haven’t received my prescription thus this review.

    So far I'm happy with this service! It's nearly impossible to get into a walk in clinic as I work early morning to mid afternoon, when I get off work, they're either already closed or at capacity. Our family GP left his practice a couple months ago.

    This place is run like a scam call center in India. Doctors have no regards for people's time. They forget to fax your prescription to the pharmacy. They call you for an appointment if they want to or they just don't even call without any notice. If call drops during appointment, no call backs. I bet you MSP still gets the bill for incomplete and pointless appointments. And good luck booking another appointment on the same day. Even with appointment times available, the system wont allow you to book a new appointment on the same day unless you cancel the previous appointment. And the system won't allow you to cancel any appointment within 24 hours of that appointment time. So you are stuck in limbo and have to wait another day to get to a Doctor. No way to contact them but e-mail and their e-mails are answered too late to be of any help. Watch how someone from their admin is going to copy paste the same response here just like all reviews. A medical service with no phone line is just shocking. They have the phone lines on Google just for show. I am grateful that Medical services are free in Canada but I guess nothing free can be good.

    I'm surprised by the negative reviews from others. I've had excellent service from these doctors. Mostly I'm seeking only a prescription refill, so it is not complex care. But doctors have been very good about checking other aspects of my health before re-prescribing. And I'm almost always able to get an appointment the same day--a huge benefit over using TelusHealth.

    Booked an appointment on their website for 11:50am but never received the call. I reviewed the link showing my appointment details and the time had been pushed back to 2:50pm the same day without any email or advisement. Waited to receive the call at the new time and again nobody rang. I emailed to inquire about the $80 I paid to arrange the call as I did not have a valid health care number at the time of booking. With no contact from the company I was provided with a refund but no response to my email as to why there were issues with completing the appointment call. Set up a second appointment for today - again a call came through for a single ring 1 hr after the appointed time and went straight to voicemail requesting a rescheduling. The company should offer less appointment slots if they are unable to reliably phone patients. Very frustrating. I would not recommend this company or "service".

    My wife was having back back pain. Made a telehealth appointment. Doctor was rude and cut her off saying this is what happens when you get over 30 and that she would need to learn to live with it?? Not sure if these are real doctors or what. Don’t use them. These people are just leaching off our health care system and looking to make a quick buck.

    Abysmal service. Doctor did not show up and the technology deleted my appointment after 2 minutes. No contact or anything. After I reached out out just said that I should book again. Yeah lmao no thanks. Voice-mail inbox was full when I tried to call. No follow up at all. No request for confirmation email, no request for appointment number, nothing. This is a medical service you should be better organized.

    Normally they are super awesome. Today, I emailed after my appointment was 37 minutes late because I was heading to work. The doctor called, it rang once. I sent another email saying I’m on my way to work as the doctor was 37 minutes late. They said they were charging me for a no show when they were 37 minutes late and claimed they kept calling me. Seems super shady, I even sent a photo of my call records. If they are 45 minutes late I shouldn’t be paying the no show fee.

    I had a phone Telehealth call with Dr. Jacques Simenhoff this morning to get a prescription for an infected finger - 6 months ago I had the same issue, and was prescribed antibiotics at a walk-in which cleared up the finger in 2-3 days. Today, Dr. Simenhoff told me that he couldn't help me with a prescription and that I needed I go see a "real" physician in person, but not before ranting about the "mainstream media" and how he got bad press coverage when he abandoned patients at his last clinic to go for-profit here. What's the point of having Telehealth calls if they just tell you that you still need to go see a real doctor at a clinic? I'm injured and in pain, and the last thing I wanted today was to be berated by a doctor over the phone about my problem. I will never use Viva Care again, and I would definitely stay away from Jacques Simenhoff if you want compassion and care for your medical issues.

    I was able to book an appointment for a phone consulatation quickly and easily (next day!) The doctor was prompt and very helpful. When my prescription refill didn't arrive at the pharmacy I contacted Viva Care by email and received not only a prompt email response but a call from the doctor too! Great service.

    First time trying to book an appointment the doctor was an hour late. I received an email stating that they would send and email once the doctor was ready to chat. They never sent a follow up email and I missed my appointment due to lack of communication. Second time trying to make an appointment now I have been on video chat waiting for over an HOUR for the doctor to show up. My appointment was scheduled for 3:50 and it is now 4:40 with no doctor in site. I have not received an email stating the doctor would be late. I emailed tech support to make sure everything is okay and they have not responded. I would recommend other services over this one, so far they have wasted my time and they lack good communication. I have been in the dark this whole time waiting for the doctor to show up. I wouldn't recommend this service it's a hassle and a waste of time.

    My son had a bad infection, and it took the Dr 2 days to send the antibiotics to our pharmacy. I had to follow up 3 times over to make sure they had the correct info. A good concept but poor service.

    OMG so amazing. I was booked for the first appointment I could get tomorrow but the dr called me a few minutes after I booked. I am assuming because my medical issue shouldn’t wait until tomorrow it needed to be dealt with asap. She was so nice, and way more understanding on what I am allergic to and what helped me the last time I needed the prescription. Compared to a different online doctor this morning who was not listening to me on what I allergic to and what I was requesting for my medical issue and thought he knew better then I did and sent a prescription into the pharmacy that I was allergic to. The pharmacy said I can’t take that so he sent in a second one I was also allergic to. Going to use this online doctor from now on when I am in a desperate need of help for a medical issue Thank you so so so much!

    Just my hail mary attempt at getting treatment, I'm a Victoria resident so you all know how desperate the situation is out here. I have a sore throat that appears to be re-occuring. I didn't expect anything in the way of useful advice let alone a prescription, but lo and behold VivaCare came through for me, my doc Barjinder gave me both good advice AND a prescription. Not sure if it's going to help my sick situation, but it was nice to have something to go on instead of googling my symptoms to get Cancer and Covid as my only results. Thanks guys, 5 stars.

    I appreciated Viva Cares customer service. E-mails are answered promptly, and appointments have been booked same day for me. It is comforting to know that Viva Care is an option with the current shortage of family doctors.

    Cancelled appointment before I could even explain the issue I was facing. Other services like Telushealth at least give you a space to type out why you’re requesting the appointment. Lack of care from the e-mail notifying me of the cancelation as well. There are better services out there, save yourself the hassle.

    It's really not a very well run service, but it is definitely convenient. I have been stood up by doctors before, and they have also sometimes not faxed in prescriptions after saying they would do so. It is extremely frustrating there is no way to call the clinic or the doctors when this kind of thing happens, but they actually are pretty good about replying to emails quickly, even though the tone is not always super friendly. I've generally had good experiences with Dr. Hyemi Chang. I've also had some success with Dr. Hammad Raza, but it usually feels like he's trying to get me off the phone quickly, even after the conversation has lasted only about 3 minutes and the doctors call you. He has once hung up on me while I was in the middle of asking for a confirmation of what he was prescribing, saying just "I have to go" and ending the conversation, which of course had been less than 5 minutes. This service is ok for prescription renewals, but if you have an actual health problem and want consultation I wouldn't recommend it.

    I had a phone appointment scheduled this morning. The doctor never phoned or contacted me. I emailed twice and no reply. No update on whether my appointment was delayed/cancelled 7 hours later. I tried phoning and they have no way to actually talk to anyone they just direct you to email. Several other reviews on here mention the same thing experience as me, but out of desperation I thought I’d try it. Don’t waste your time… just go to the emergency department, you’ll at least get seen.

    Had an appointment with Doctor Simenhoff. No one called. Do not waste your time on this service. UPDATE: There was some technical glitch, they were apparently receiving emails with my wrong health card number and birthdate from my email which I never sent. However They called back within 30 mins to rectify everything and the doctor called me as well. Doctor Simenhoff was amazing and I appreciate his help, the lady who called me back was very patient in handling the whole situation . Thank you!

    I booked for vivacare telehealth appointment for the first time as I don’t have a family doctor yet. Dr. Hyemi Chang is very helpful and getting prescription is so easy and fast after I sent email as instructed by her to send photos that she needed to check to determine if I need oral or topical antibiotic for it. I got the 10:50 am time slot today and she called me 10:53 am which only last 6 min and got call drop abruptly due to her poor phone signal but called me after 8 minutes which we resume talking to discuss more. Got the confirmation for my medicine pick up to my nearest pharmacy in 1 hour. Thank you so much, Dr. Chang

    Not sure why the other reviews were so low/negative. I got my regular prescription refilled VERY quick (actual phone call appointment was less than 2 minutes). Was able to get a same-day telehealth appointment and received a call from the doctor within 30 minutes of booking. Faxed my refill prescription to my local pharmacy right away. Saved me the hassle of waiting 2 weeks for the same over-the-phone appointment with my regular, family doctor! They offer "first-available", phone, or video appointments so you can get in asap, or choose a date that works best for you. Note that they don't give specialist referrals or refill controlled substances & narcotics etc.

    Made an appointment to get an antibiotic. The doctor told me she would submit my prescription to the pharmacy and make me a lab req. She advised me to try and get into the lab, but if not possible to go ahead and just take the antibiotic so as not to delay treatment. I have not received either a lab req or prescription and am unable to get ahold of the clinic via phone or email. I am assuming I will have to go to urgent care tonight to get the antibiotic prescription. This service is useless.

    I was able to get a phone appointment for the same evening. The doctor said she would send me a doctor's note that I could provide my employer but I didn't receive it. I had to follow up with both a phone call and email to vivacare health. They responded to my email immediately asking for $35 via etransfer for a doctors note (I felt this was quite expensive) so I paid that right away. Then they took at least 12 hours to send me the doctors note.

    TERRIBLE! BE CAREFUL, INCONSIDERATE OF YOUR TIME. I booked a tele consultation today for 12:20pm. I take time off work to attend the consultation. I pay in advance. The doctor did not show up. My appointment was cancelled without notice or reason. No phone number on the website to follow up. After numerous emails, someone writes that if I want I can have an appointment later that day. Not only did I book somewhere else, but they don't seem to understand they are inconsiderate to people who take the time to book this. Now I have asked for my money back 4 times and they keep wanting to rebook me. What is going on with this place?

    I spoke to Dr. Hyemi Chang today for a medical issue. She was absolutely the nicest doctor I have ever spoken to. She listened and showed patience and extended care and consideration. I wish she was taking new patients as it was an experience that is VERY hard to find. She sets an example as what we should expect from physicians.

    DONT BOOK WITH DR CHANG - so rude and wouldn't give me my antibiotics and didnt gave a good experience with her. Go book with the other doctors they are wonderful. 5 stars for all the doctors. Pick your doctor if you can for these visits!!! The staff here are so great and receptive to my needs
