Good try of chiangmai's kuay chap. Did not know it is actually different from the ones sold in bangkok. First time trying this city's. Liked the clear light tasting broth and the amount of ingredients in it. Had a roast pork and thai sausage to share. The sweet sauce complimented them. Roast pork was way better than the sausages. Prices are good and worth it. Will return for it.

The rice soup with pork here (Kaaw Tom Mou) is amazing. I've been coming here every time I visit Chiang Mai for years, and when I'm away, I miss this place. The restaurant is not fancy and doesn't have A/C. It is covered but open air on the sides. The staff are competent but not overly amiable. I am okay with that as long as they keep putting their energy into the flavor! The rice soup they serve is the best I've had in Thailand, and I have tried it many places. The flavor is peppery, and instead of just simple balls of minced meat, they add pieces of crispy pork, two or three pieces of a nicely spiced sausage, some crispy pork skin, and small bits of pork rib meat. It is very satisfying and I would be happy eating it several days a week. Just 60 baht for a good size bowl, and they have self-serve tea for free. It is worth a try!

Kuay Jab and Khao Tom are amazing! With their peppery porky soup base, they make for the perfect way to kickstart your day. Highly recommend starting your morning with these flavorful meals. 🍜🌞

I tried #3 soup with rice in it. 60thb for what’s in the bowl is a bit too much since not much meat is in it. The soup didn’t taste great either. It tastes like instant to me to be honest.

Light lunch today. I tried guay jub - rolled noodles with various things in the soup. The soup was quite good, peppery and savoury. I didn't like the noodle, too much carb. I also got the rice with crispy pork belly. This one was really good. Crispy and not dry at all. The sauce was good too, sweet and salty. #thailand #thaifood #noodles #eats #travel #chiangmai

Absolutely loved the broth here, very flavorful, very peppery. Didn't enjoy the crispy pork rice but the side soup they provide was enough for me to give this 5 stars

First meal in Chiang Mai at the famous Kway Chup Fah Tha Nee. Peppery soup with lotsa meat, overall good to drink for a cold day.
