My first time in Chiang Mai and this is my first stop, and my first time trying kao soy, had to choose the best for my first! 😙🍜 Everything from the food, ambience, and service was excellent 😍🤩🌟 yellow noodles with the light curry base was so delicious, chicken leg was so soft and easy to eat 🍗😋!! Love the khanom jeen nam ngiao too, yummy though it was VERY spicy for me, even though the staff said it is a liiittlee bit spicy lolz. 😋👍 There are so many selections of food and side dishes to choose from, as well as drinks! Speaking of drinks, they serve it in this cute silver traditional bowl, so unique! Drinks are delicious too, perfect for quenching the spiciness of the food. 🥵🔥 There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seats available, and i love the decorations and music playing in the background! Apart from the many flies eyeing our food, I had a fantastic meal and a great time here!! 😍💖

Actually, It’s quite good compare to other same kind of famous restaurants. Expensive(for local), yet delicious. If you like this restaurant’s Khaosoi, you can not get it anywhere else in Thailand. But if you ask some local people if they like this restaurant? May be not due to price and portion.

Kao Soy Nimman is a must visit if you want to try khao soi! They have loads of different khao soi’s to choose from as well as other dishes and desserts. We ordered the khao soi with chicken and pork, both were full of flavor and tasted delicious. They were both a little spicy but it was not too bad with a nice cold drink on the side. We finished our lunch with mango sticky rice.

Popular with tourists from South Korea and mainland China. Be prepared to wait 20 - 30 min for a table during weekday lunchtime. The food was all too salty for me personally. The braised pork topping was nice though. Tender and flavourful. Noodle portions are very small for those with single topping. The one with assorted toppings had more noodles. I found the noodles rather soggy but that could be my personal preference (I like my noodles al dente). Soup was alright. Chicken skewers were tender but salty. Dessert with assorted toppings was tasty and refreshing. Outdoor seating can be quite warm. Staff can speak basic English (they could not understand my request not to give me a straw for the dessert)

A Khao soy shop that produces magic with and without Khao soy dishes. Firstly the Khao Soy is the best one I've tasted in Chiang mai with thicker curry sauce. We further enjoyed the other dishes. All other food was OK-ish but there are other places with better value nearby. Edit: removed two stars. The second time we visited, service was unsatisfactory and this no longer justifies the prices.
