Worst experience ever! If I could give zero stars to a hotel, this would be the one. This place is absolutely disgusting. The receptionist has a very rude attitude and isn’t friendly or helpful at all. When we checked in our room there were wet towels on the bed and the whole room was an absolute mess. We called the reception from the room and they said they will send someone up shortly but no one came. We then dragged all our bags down and got our room changed. There was no apology from staff. The rooms here are not maintained at all and the environment is unpleasant. You can here people talking and laughing very loudly near the pool all night. The rooms itself are small, dark and nearly everything is broken. Some of the things I noted in my room: - Bathroom door doesn’t close properly unless you really bang it shut - Water in sink takes forever to go down - Toilet has plumbing problem and makes a sound every 30 seconds - Air conditioner doesn’t do a great job and makes a buzzing sound - Rust near shower - Pillows are very old and can be called ‘few lumps of wool’ - Blanket is very thin and dirty - Floor tiles aren’t mopped and you can feel the dirt on your feet - Parking is in a very restricted space and not enough for everyone

I had to change my room 3 times as there was bed bugs that bit me so many times, which left me bite marks on my body. The management should seriously look into this and change all the beds, beddings. eg pillows, bedsheets, quilts and thoroughly clean all rooms with disinfectant. A taxi driver informed me that everyone complained of bed bugs in the hotel. This is a very serious matter as the hotel can be sued for misleading guests and proper hygiene and health safety. The staff were however very friendly and helpful. Hope action is taken soon.

Got a standard room with double bed. Good for a person, might get a little congested with two. Had some issues with getting the correct water temperature in the shower and the shower door would not close properly. Complimentary tea and coffee was provided in the room. Room has a TV with a few channels and air conditioning. Safe is available in the room to keep valuables and I got a nice view from the room. Room looked a bit old but overall its alright, you get what you paid for. Would advise to book during specials ($99 local special deal). Customer service was very nice. Hotel has a shop and restaurant (Hillcrest), swimming pool, bar and lounge area. Breakfast wasn't included with the room but for an additional $15 continental breakfast was provided. The place can get a bit noisy.

Stayed for a couple of nights while in town seeing friends. Very reasonable prices - although consider looking for discount rates online. As with most cheaper hotels in Fiji, it's better to sleep with ear plugs, as inevitably there will be somebody having a loud conversation on the phone right outside your door at 11pm. Crimes of opportunity can happen, especially in the morning. The hotel posts staff on different floors to keep a close eye out, and there are security cameras, but be vigilant, especially if you are leaving in the morning and being casual with your bags. At around 7am I was woken by shouting and the sounds of a would-be thief being choked out by a staff member before they wriggled free and escaped... On the 4th floor.

Nice staffs but they need to work on facility maintenance. First night we woke up with severe sore throat. First night the water from AC dripped and soaked the towels. It was a puddle. I figured the AC needs attention. Populated air. It's walking distance to both city and flagstaff but health is more important especially when you have kids. The windows didn't shut all the way. We had to put chairs behind curtains so it's secured. Truly didn't wish to change the room at that time due to tiredness. But they surely need at least monthly rounds in each apartment for AC, windows, bed bugs, loose wires, etc.

Very good location and people. However, no WiFi in room. Only available in the lobby which is quite congested. The chair in the room was making a loud creaking sound. Barely 3-4 channels on TV.

We had to check in last minute and I am so glad this is where we ended up. Despite other reviews I saw our experience was a clean and tidy hotel with amazing staff. Baka Lounge and Hillcrest were both great too, the chicken and lamb curry were delicious. I will be returning here for sure and will encourage others to do so as well. Nakwa!

We first arrived at the peninsula and the staff were friendly and allowed us to check in earlier than arranged. Our room wasn't ready but as we checked in earlier we were fine with waiting for them to make the bed. While waiting for our room to be finished we noticed the roof was covered in mould and the bed had bed bugs all over it. The bathroom had a random bunch of wires hanging out of the ceiling and was not very clean. The condition of the outside of the rooms was not much better and there was an awful smell. We left and decided to see if when we returned our room would be better. After a couple of hour we returned and our room still was not ready nor cleaned and the smell was to much. We decided we would not be staying and the man at the front desk let us know that he would just cancel it from his end and we would get a full refund from expedia. Once we left we contacted expedia and they soon let us know that the hotel was actually refusing to refund us the full amount and allowed us only half. Maybe they can use the other half to pay for proper cleaning cause it definitely needs it and a refurbish. Would not come back and stay here again. There is minimal parking and the one way road is narrow and not safe to park on. The food in the restaurant however was nice and the staff lovely.

BED BUGS!! DONT STAY HERE!! Worst, filthiest hotel in all of Fiji! Bed bugs in all rooms, nasty front desk staff, bad attitudes from porters, terrible, poor, paltry breakfast, and managers/owners don't care. My husband and I stayed 4 nights and had the worst time battling bed bugs and moldy smells from the room. There is no balcony and rooms are stuffy and ridden with bugs. DISGUSTING AND DESPICABLE!!

Close to central Suva, friendly staff, tidy facilities and good food. There is a taxi stand outside and highly recommend Mosese/Uncle Moji as a driver.

Rooms are due for refurbishment. Operator hardly answers the phone. Oriental breakfast was only bread, cereals and hot beverage. Great bar and restaurant though. Located within the CBD area so only a walking distance.

Placed right in the heart of Suva city - this small hotel is quiet noisy and remained so until 2 am. The rooms are tinier than the initial impression one gets on entering the room. If you built is slightly more than average - you will find it extremely difficult to enter into the showering enclosure. The water temperature requires constant monitoring and you could have scalding hot water one instance and cold water the next instance. Thought the washroom area was clean - the same cannot be said of the cistern. It was dirty, dated and belonged to another era all together. The linen was clean. The complimentary breakfast is something you would want to avoid or forget about. The fresh juice is actually a watery concoction of concentrates available off the supermarket selves (and resorts and hotels in Fiji Islands need to get over them and offer authentic juices). The fresh fruit cuts were okay but sparsely replenished. Cereals were pretty ordinary. The boxes containing butter and jam portions were stored in the breakfast area (see pictures) and apparently they don't have proper storage areas. Overall the stay was comfortable but not memorable.

Disgustingly stained sheets, marks of bed bugs on sheets, tv dangling of the cord for its dear life, no hot water loud, noisy, party gatherings till 3am(curfew much?), unfriendly reception staff (do u want me to go on!?) But then again at $115, I expected the basics to be right.
