Great paintings! Personally I don't like Baroque style... But very nice paintings.

It is one of the place that I want to visit again for sure. I did not have enough time to look around all the beautiful places cuz I visited here too late. But I was already overwhelmed with old but fabulous, well-preserved library in the first visit.

Peaceful worship place. Many people visited this place because of the church beautifully painted artwork and artistic impact drawn on the ceiling. It's a very big church next to St Gallen Abbey Library. It's a nice place to visit and one can admire the structural and architectural design of this Catholic church.

What a magnificent Cathedral!! Oh it's a must visit if you visit St. Gallen. One cannot help but be in awe of it's massive structure and beautiful architecture.

Should have the two or more hours for visiting the beautiful and peaceful cathedral, the painting on the ceiling and a very large church organ. You may be lucky enough to listen to symphonic music If you go on the day of the organ concert. Although the cathedral maybe temporary close during the church service each day.

Its the center piece of the city St.Gallen. Inside of the church is very well preserved and decorated, its a sight to behold. One of the most beautiful church in swiss.

Without a doubt the symbol of Sankt Gallen. A visit to this town is not complete without a visit to this magnificent Cathedral. If you walk from the train station it will take you about 15 minutes to reach it.

Great place to visit in the St. Gallen. The architecture and the beautiful of this church is amazing. The interior is a state of art, the paint in the ceiling is a must to see. I recommend this place to every tourist in St. Gallen.

Stunning and very impressive, beautiful Cathedral

A very beautiful cathedral. It amazes with its huge dome and paintings. Only I was very surprised by the dark background of the painting. Either the colors have darkened, or there really is a stormy sky depicted there. But the green stucco on the walls harmonizes very interestingly with the dark background of the ceiling painting. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely worth a visit! St. Gallen Cathedral provides fascinating historical insights into the founding of St. Gallen, with a notable focus on the significant role played by Irish monks. All exhibitions are 18CHF/person . Great experience!

After seeing all the great churches in Portugal, those in Switzerland paled in comparison until i stepped into this church. It was so beautiful and detailed. I even stayed for the beautiful church service with majestic organ and ethereal choir. Must visit. Too much is said about the library.

Impressive Cathedral. Play close attention to the sealing paintings. Even non-believers will appreciate the detail and craftsmanship.

The most beautiful cathédrals I ever have seen in Europe among 20 european countries visited . Rich of decorations and details. It's really underated and bit powered in my opinion.

Stunning Episcopalian cathedral situated in gorgeous Old Town of St Gallan. Built on tomb of Irish Benedictine Monk from about 690. Library a must see.

It’s so pretty here. This is a must see when in St. Gallen!!

A short walk from the train station, the old centre and especially the world heritage site of the cathedral, library, and area is absolutely spectacular. The baroque and rococo period library is itself unmissable.

Such a beautiful landmark and exceptionally well preserved. I would recommend visiting early in the morning to avoid crowding. Entrance to the cathedral is free.

Little better than your typical church destination as a tourist.
