We had the XL Cigkofte, it was delicious. My 1 year old tried it and enjoyed it as well. I am not vegan / vegetarian but it’s food like this that persuades me to slowly be.

Nice vegan place, very kinf stuff. Cigköftem, seitan, wraps, salads, sweeties. Pro tip: If you are hungry, buy two wraps for 18, because is is bigger portion than a bowl for 15.

It is one of the best vegetarian fast food restaurants in Basel. Great paste and collection of sauces. Great place to get healthy food.

We both had vegan döner bowls. My choice of sauce wasn't very successful though. I thought the spicy sauce would have more chili in it and not just some heavy bbq-style stuff. Otherwise the bowl was yummy. They also serve vegan desserts, which we didn't try. The joint has few outdoor seats and more indoors. The overall vibe is very kewl.

Alles Essen was ich probiert habe, war ausgesprochen gut! Wir waren mit dem Vegipass dort, also war es auch zu sehr fairen Preisen, denke das ist aber auch sonst kein Problem. Auch der Personal war sehr freundlich und man wird schnell & gut bedient!

Sehr grosse Auswahl - egal ob Döner im Fladenbrot oder in der Tasche, Cigköfte, Snacks oder Desserts. Es schmeckt jedes Mal enorm gut und man erhält eine grosse Portion. Sehr faire Preise. Meine Empfehlung ist der vegane Döner im Fladenbrot und das vegane Tiramisu. Das Personal ist besonders sympathisch, gut gelaunt und immer sehr zuvorkommend! Extrem nette Leute. Ich gehe jedes Mal ins Vegitat sobald ich in Basel bin und kann jedem empfehlen das Gleiche zu tun! :-)

a lot of vegan options, including desserts like tiramisu and cheesecake muffins! the staff is kind and food is delicious, though some items on the menu are a little pricey (7.- for a tiramisu).

After spending time in France where it's almost impossible to find vegetarian food, was great to find this place in Basel. Ideal for a quick healthyish good value dinner. Only a short walk to the river to eat and watch the sunset. Guy who served us was really friendly and spoke perfect English too. Thanks!

My first visit of Vegitat after seeing it in the IG stories of 'Basel vegan' and I was very nicely surprised. I took a Jackfruit wrap for my lunch and really liked it. Full of vegetable, very tasty. And for 10 CHF it's a steal I'll be more than happy to repeat 😊

This place is in Basel, if you are vegetarian and looking for food, this place is for you. They have good range for vegetarian food as well. You can get other choices as well including vegetarian food.

Quick, tasty and priced just right! (They do offer non-vegan sauce; beware of some of the Turkish drinks that look like fruit drinks in the fridge---they're salty and spicy! I wasn't ready for it!)

Delicious food, friendly service, and very reasonable prices. We had the çiğköfte, which was much less spicy than the original recipe (probably for the best) and seitan döner, both of which were tasty. Plus the tiramisu was a real treat. I'll definitely be back for more çiğköfte!
