A French parenthesis in the middle of Zürich! A Little Hotel Restaurant located in a narrow street in the city center, reminiscent of the Parisian atmosphere with small round tables and pretty benches. I only went for lunch, but with plans to spend a night there. the meal card is quite small proof of quality and homemade. the prices also found are very correct for Zürich. the drink menu is generously provided and offers a drink for everyone. I would go back to this restaurant soon!

The croque madame was good and in generous portion. The atmosphere is as nice as the first time I frequented the bistro. As a Parisian living in Zurich, the French speaking waiters and the overall atmosphere of the establishment were greatly appreciated…it also goes for the staffs’ attitude which pleased me but could make others feel a bit uncomfortable 🤔? I’ll visit again, for sure.

Exquisite bistro with a value-priced apertivo menu. Beautiful interior, friendly, multi-lingual staff, excellent food and wines.

Great location for a lazy Sunday lunch in the city center. Located in a cozy small alley, the place is comfortable. Service is attentive and friendly Food is generally good, we took the croque madame that was in generous portion. We also took a cheesecake that was less memorable but still enjoyable. Would 100% go again

I was here last Sunday for a brunch. Went in, sat in table as per my reservation. Did not feel really warmly welcomed, but a bad start into the day can happen to everyone. Ordered a croque monsier - so far so good. The dish arrived and looked good. Started eating and at some point something darkish was moving in my salad. It was a worm, still alive. I felt like throwing up, but again, can happen (the Swiss office of public health might disagree with that nevertheless). I went in and gave the plate to the waitress - did not want to make a scene. The thing that stroke me: I was never apologized to. Not when I told them about the dish, not when I paid the bill and left. Never seen such a bad situation for a restaurant being handled without saying a single time - I’m horribly sorry! Useless to mention, would never return to this place. I’d advise you to do the same.

A delightful little French restaurant with two rooms available above the restaurant. I stayed in the Josephine suite which was large, clean and comfortable. Please note there is no lift but the staff are very helpful with your bags. There is also no iron but lots of hanging options for your clothes. The location is superb and I spent hours wandering the delightful old town around montmartre. It is located in the pedestrian zone so please be aware there is no car access. There are several churches nearby so the bells are plentiful but may wake you at 6am. The restaurant serves the best coffee and has a small but excellent menu. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Montmartre, Zurich.

After long months of strict restrictions due to the covid-19, the Montmartre confirms all positive opinions expressed up to now. Top service, very friendly, dynamic and obliging team, fine food in complete harmony with the bistronomy concept. Definitely a place where to go, à deux, à quatre ou à six.

Tiny cute place down a side alley. Great to sit outside here on a hot day to avoid noise and sun. Very sweet and good menu options. Their bio iced tea was delicious.

The waiter at this place was great! Very friendly and smiling always. In addition, there was a lot going on and he was still able to handle everything in time with a smile in his face. The place is looking trés chic as well, coffee and cake was super as well!

Perfect quiet cafe for a afternoon coffee with cake 🍰 absolutely stunning interior and the barista was so sweet, the lemon cake was also amazing! Lemon cake was a bit more dense than expected but tasted amazing 🤩

The location is nice. It's along an alley close to the cathedral. It's a good place to sit and enjoy time away from the crowd. The service was very good and the place is clean especially the toilet. I would come back here if I were in Zurich again.

While walking inside to old town I find this little street with cute tables outside. I find it super cosy place for a breakfast! I got a breakfast menu, simple but very tasty! All was super fresh! If you pass by it’s worth to give a try. The atmosphere is unique. And the personel is very friendly.

The decoration, service, music and dessert were very nice but - unfortunately - the food was basic.

Little Paris in the center of Zurich! As a huge fan of Paris I love this place a lot! And if you miss talking in French you can talk with the waiter in a language of love! And you should try pain au chocolate. Delicious!

Staff so rude we just walked out. They had little available, didn’t tell us until we were ready to order and prices were stupid expensive.

Charming!!!! This little hidden gem, right in the heart of the city, is a special place to go for coffee and a little brekkie. If you want to be transported to Paris in the 1920s, this is just the place for you.

Lovely little restaurant / bar tucked away in a little alley in Zürich’s old town. Between us we had galettes with cheese, mushrooms and fried egg (but we ordered the galettes without meat) and the quiche; everyone loved their mains. I liked the lemon tart we had for dessert as well, and my dad was especially pleased with it. The service was excellent as well. Will definitely be back!

Smallest and finest hotel in town ! This family-run business offers 2 rooms for an unforgettable stay in the heart of the historic center of Zurich, with a view on St. Peters Church and next to Paradeplatz, Bahnhofstrasse and Lindenhof. We stayed in the room called Maurice, a charming room on two levels, ideal if you need it as an office too. We were impressed by the very qualitative and thoughtful design, but also by the attention to details. A place where you feel at home, also thanks to the way Marc-Antoine, one of the owners, takes care of his guests. We look forward to coming back soon! Sabine & Miguel

We discovered this place about a year ago and we are addicted to it : the food is delicious and fresh and the Creme d'Alsace bubbles taste for more! On top, this is a hotel with 2 rooms!

I want to write about this place…but then again, I don’t!!! The reason I want to write about it is because of the wonderful experience we had whilst staying and dining at this lovely and unique place. Our accommodations were fantastic..roomy, comfortable, quiet and with consideration being given to every detail that a traveler might need. Best of all..the location was SUPERB. The bistro fare was delicious and its staff made the experience memorable. Ok…so why don’t I want to write about this place?? Because it is such a rare find…I’m afraid that once the word gets out..the place will be booked solid and our chances for a return visit might be slim!!!

Perfect place in the center of Zurich for a romantic stay. The smallest hotel in town, magical rooms with own soul. Friendly bistro on the ground floor, nice staff with an amazing ability to use three languages in one sentence.

Small, lovely and classic french restaurant. I went there for brunch . It was delicious and the waitress was so friendly. I loved the decorations. I’ll definitely go there again.

My wife and I both agree this is one of favorite hotels we’ve ever stayed in. This boutique hotel exemplifies old town Zurich without losing the hospitality of a larger hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The windows in the room can open to the cobblestone alleyway allowing aromas from the cafe below to Looney Toons style waft in to wake you in the morning. Did I mention the cafe was our favorite breakfast in Zurich? All around 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Was walking around Zurich looking for a great spot for lunch, passed many places and nothing stood out until we happened across this wonderful cosy tasteful dining haven. Staff were wonderful as were the staff in their sister place Franzos The food was superb and perfect for a Sunday brunch, great French feel and lovely atmosphere. My wife sampled the Cremant which was lovely. This place is well hidden but well worth finding.

amazing place, unfortunately incompetent waitress who mislead me about seats being reserved when I asked her. they turned out to be free for an hour and she made me leave the place instead of offering to have a coffee for an hour. my friend managed to get the seat, she then handed in the bill 15min before the reservation was booked for. what an unfriendly human being. down to 3 stars from 5. pity!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Montmartre last week. Marc-Antoine and his staff couldn't have been more helpful, from check-in to suggesting things to do in the area and of course offering their Swiss hospitality. I had the best chocolate croissant I've ever tasted from the Cafe & Bistro. We enjoyed dinner and drinks outside the cafe on our final night in Switzerland. It was a perfect ending to a wonderful vacation. Can't wait to return!
