A lovely place for brunch with good service. Menu is on the smaller side, but there was enough there to interest us. Pulled pork bowl and corn fritters were a treat, as they were cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Servings were on the smaller side, but didn't leave hungry and the price was about right (~$19) for what we got. No table service which is unfortunate, however the friendly wait staff made up for it Would love to come back.

Excellent breakfast, good coffee. Comfortable environment filled with homewares and nik naks that you can buy if you're so inclined. My breakfast was the "big breakfast " with shashouka, bacon, 2 poached eggs, Turkish bread and hash brown, kept me going all day. Good value. Will definitely come here again. Slightly different breakfast menu with plenty to chose from, not the usual bacon and eggs on toast offerings. Highly recommend giving it a go.

Venue is just by the beach. I went on a Sunday and it was packed but I still was able to find a seat. The menu had a good range of items including gluten free and vegetarian options. I tried the gluten free gnocchi with chorizo and the baked eggs dish. Both dishes were garnished nicely and tasty. Coffee/hot chocolate was also good. The service was quick and the staff were helpful when asked for anything. This venue has lots of homewares to buy as well. Slightly pricey but very cute/nice things.

Sehr gutes Cafe in Mona Vale. Nette aufmerksame Bedienung. Sehr empfehlenswert!

I waited 5yrs to come back here. It was and still is the best Location in the World for me. Sadly i have to end my Holidays here and go back to Germany but when we are able to come back, we absolutly will! Pure Recommendation!

Great coffee and breakfast from simple things like eggs on toast to fancier stuff. Food came out really promptly. A short walk from the beach. Unlike the parking, there were plenty of tables and, unlike some of the parking, the food and coffee were reasonably priced. All joking aside, you can find free but timed parking nearby with some patience.

Really tasty food would recommend the fish and chips and also the French Toast, generous servings too. More room now with extra seating for customers, polite staff, except the young man who didn't bring me a replacement clean glass when he offered to, yes only issue are the really dirty drinking glasses, maybe they need to use "Finish" in their commercial dishwasher (they really are filthy) Other than that I would go there again and again.. food very tasty and service reasonably fast.

In summer this is one of many favourite meeting points with friends. It has a shabby chic feel with a Japanese quirk. The servings used to be larger and seems to have a new measured food quantity system. Just a tad more food in the servings like they used to serve would make it a real meal for lunch and instead only go there when not hungry; other than that it’s quality food in a comfortable environment.

The food here is fine, but the staff don't listen to your requests. If you ask for your eggs to not be runny they'll say yes and serve you a runny egg anyway. Most things are overpriced and it's often hard to find a table yet you can't book ahead. Overall there are better places to go but armchair is fine.

Cute cafe that it’s worth a visit! Had the chilli scrambled eggs and the corn fritters…and loved the food. The kale, in particular was lovely and crisp. Delicious! Great coffee too all served in a very relaxed atmosphere. Also it’s one minute walk down to the beach, which is a great bonus (plus they sell homewares - perfect as little pressies or to enhance the appearance of your home, if you wish). Also loved the fact that the food is not overpriced. Would definitely visit again.👍🏻👍🏻

I had avocado and eggs on toast. It was very tasty but could have wished for a bit larger serving. It was 19$. Otherwise good and cozy surroundings and staff was alright - not particularly nice but fine.

I had an incredible time here and it is now one of my new favourites up on the beaches when I come up. I walked in and it was really busy and I was nervous about the wait time on food. However, my food arrived efficiently and it was hot and fresh out of the kitchen. The food itself was amazing and the staff were lovely.
