The only Pyrmont pub i've felt comfortable in during 2020, they do a great job cleaning and making sure we all stay safe, thank you. Years after I wrote the first review I reckon they STILL have the best selection of craft beers in Sydney with a good rotation. Staff are friendly, always busy.

Nice small local pub feel despite being in the middle of Pyrmont. Big selection of wines and beers with quality pub food. Had a great ginger beer on tap. Could happily make this place my local if I lived in the area. Would recommend to people wanting a relaxed pub night.

Gorgeous venue. Great craft beer selection. Visited for lunch on a quiet weekday and really enjoyed our time out on the rooftop. With that said, the ground floor pub and beer garden look pretty good too so imagine which level you end up in, you won't be disappointed.

Seems to have had a change of management and kitchen.. food that used to be good is not very much so. The stand out used to be the buffalo wings which were crispy, hot and spicy with a nice creamy blue sauce but are now soft, sticky with a fake sauce. The menu has changed to be more expensive but less options other than boring standard pub fare ..all of which arrived cold, steak arrived well done to the pint of sawdust texture when it was meant to be medium rare… overall more expensive for cheaper poorer food quality … Staff were a bit rude about it too … Bring back what it was before when it was good … as locals and previous regulars , we are no longer fans and will give it a miss in the future

My friends and I went here and had a wonderful experience. The drinks were delicious, even though I got a little confused, the bartender was very lovely about it and he seemed very knowledgeable. The drinks also had a lot of flavour compared to other stingy plaves. The food was some of the best I've ever tasted, seriously delicious. All of my friends said the same for their meals too and we came back once more before our trip ended, it was so good. Very lovely staff.

Guys ... GUYS! You do a bang up job on your beer and food menu. Ordered the Italian steak, bangers and mash, and buffalo wings. Brilliant job on such a great tasting menu. I’m a local, and I’m proud to say you’re my local pub.

10 years ago, there were no real good options to go for craft beers. In 2013, Quarrymans re-opened with a rotating list of 24 craft beers and two hand pumps. While the hand pumps have gone, the 24 rotating beers still remain, although some of them less crafty. The food is good, with daily specials. This is considered the local for many, mainly due to the beer selection and atmosphere, and with many rooms spread across three levels and a courtyard, there is a room for anyone.

A tasty selection of pub food, in a variety of settings (upstairs on the rooftop, or the beer garden or the inside dining areas). The food was all hot and tasty, with a good selection of pub favourites. The fries are delicious.

I didn’t even know this cute little rooftop existed! I’ve already been twice now and can say it’s just as good both times. Favourite cocktail would have to be the Pink Cadillac (especially if you’re after something fruity and refreshing). We did order food the first time we were here as we had a work team lunch, and I ordered the steak. Was cooked the way I wanted it to be and wow that mash!! So creamy 🤤 Would highly recommend coming here with your mates, especially during this great weather!

Such a great pub! The roof top is amazing on a nice day or night! Great good menu as well, with plenty of vegetarian options.

Craft beer lovers, rejoice! I’ll admit, I’m not one of them - however, never fear if not a lover of beer... there is plenty of other variety with wines & great cocktails. Chicken schnitzel is a great staple, steak is always cooked perfect, the burgers are simple but great, bay seasoning on the fries ALWAYS!! Taco’s are the bomb, wings can be good or great & the sides & salads are also tasty! There is no better place than the rooftop on a sunny day. Great for sports events with plenty of screens about & a great team to boot. Best pub in Pyrmont!!

My favourite pub in Pyrmont. I live 200m away from it, I broke my leg and I've been using crutches for the last two months so I've been going quite a bit there since it's very convenient. Staff is super nice and helpful with this guy with limited mobility, beer selection is wide and full of variety, food is delicious and they serve generous portions. If you need a pub in Pyrmont, I wouldn't recommend any other place.

I came here for the happy hour, schooners at 6$ between 5-7pm and a good variety of beers.. they have special daily offers for food as well! Schnitzel and fries banging! Nice garden for fresh air while sipping your beer 🍻

We dined here on a Wednesday Night and had the whole rooftop terrace area to ourselves! The rooftop would be perfect to hire for an event. We ordered the Wednesday steak special and a chicken schnitzel. They were both delicious and the steak cooked medium rare (as requested). The mushroom sauce had a good amount of mushroom flavour. Would highly recommend for a low key midweek dinner!

Needed to find lunch in the area on a Saturday afternoon and not many options after 230. Came across the Quarrymans and it had a small funky rooftop. Food was great and beer and cider went down well in the sun. Would recommend and will be back

Excellent rotating selection of beers on tap and a tasty parmi. Pinball and multiple seating areas, including inside, back rooms, and a small rooftop. Long history related to the former stone quarries throughout the area.

This is an awesome pub, stacks of craft beer that you won’t find anywhere else, an amazing place visually, with an awesome menu to top it off! Definitely recommend and I’ll be returning

We dined here last night, our food was good but that was the only redeeming feature. The doorman was quite rude and lethargic. They didn’t offer basic spirits such as Midori and Malibu, and the atmosphere was very dark and dingey. When we were brought the wrong meal, we were met by an extremely rude waitress who didn’t even attempt to apologise but instead made us feel like it was our fault and glared at us when we said we didn’t mind taking either the wrong or right meal. She later came back with the same meal and dumped it down saying “we’ll deal with it later”. She was young, short, and wore a plait with dark hair (for managements reference). Very disappointed as this place is rated so highly in Sydney and last night did not reflect that at all.

Celebrating my friends 30th Birthday and the bar tender Andreas made the perfect cocktail i asked for a fruity vodka drink and he created an amazing flavour, my boyfriend named it the Pink Panther, I now recommend it to everyone! ENJOY!!

Was a great pub to begin with. Caught up with a dozen work mates (all 40+), we were buying rounds and nobody was drunk or out of hand from around 3:30pm. At 5pm we were suddenly advised we had to go buy our own drinks individually including a mate with a broken leg due to their RSA rules. Needless to say we left and had drinks and dinner at the pub across the road at the Dunkirk with no issues until we all went home at 9pm. Won't be a return guest ever and recommend Dunkirk, Gallon or Terminus for a good night out.

Amazing selection of craft beers at reasonable prices. Very much enjoyed my time there. They also offer some pork belly and veggie crackers that are supposedly made on site, and they are excellent.

The owner was rude and abusive. I seriously think Patrick (I believe his name was) really needs to re think how he talks to other people. I also observed him speaking to his staff in a similar demeaning manner. No one deserves to be spoken to like that.

I like to go with my mates on Tuesdays because they have a special on Tacos. I think there are specials each day in fact that are very cost effective for the punter. The tacos are very tasty. There is a good range of beers on tap and you can get a proper pint. It does get very busy at lunch time and Friday afternoon so go earlier for lunch or book ahead.

Great classic pub with a wide variety of beers, and pretty delish food. Has a great $5/schooner happy hour on weekdays that rotates through various beers on tap. Only drama is that they have a bunch of "beer jug specials" which look great, but the jugs are a smaller non-standard NSW size. Never seen this before in any other pub in Sydney... Not a great look. If they fix this, 10/10 would recommend

Excellent place to go. Nice and chilled Saturday drinking pints of delicious craft beers and very nice food as well. We had the local cat sit with us for hours too which was lovely So great, we'll be back.

Plenty of varieties in beer. I tried "Cooper's vintage", loved the taste. Went with colleagues , everyone liked the burgers. Me being a vegetarian had slightly limited options so went with "Haloumi and Mushroom burger" along with chips. It was ok. So good place overall but would have liked more vegetarian options.

The Quarrymans was great! They went beyond our expectations...we had reserved part of the upstairs rooftop, but then it started raining on us. The staff at Quarrymans had though ahead and reserved tables down stairs for us as a backup! Thank you so much!
