    The ancient Al-Moazam castle is a historical castle that is considered one of the monuments of the late Islamic eras, and it is located southeast of Tabuk, in the center of Al-Muzam It was established in 1031 AH corresponding to the year 1622 AD during the reign of the Ottoman Sultan Osman II, and it is one of the houses of the Levantine Road, and it is one of the largest Ottoman fortresses that were used to monitor and protect pilgrims, and it includes Baraka Al-Moazam and the railway station, as there are four foundational inscriptions on the front of this castle for its construction.     It is about 130km from Tabuk. It is on the way of Alula near ma'atham village. If it is your first time to use this road please be careful. There is strong curves in the way.

    Beautiful medieval fort, especially scenic at sunrise and sunset. Definitely worth stopping at while traveling between Al Ula and Tabuk.

    cannot be visited, however: Beautiful caravanserail/fort. Look at the lions on each side of the doors!
