This is just a beautiful memorial to our Veterans. Honoring those who have given their all...their very lives for us, for OUR FREEDOM. If you haven't been here, make the time to feel the energy of those who willingly died so we could live in a free country. WE WILL NEVER FORGET...🇺🇲 🪖🎖

A nice, albeit small park just off of 6th Ave. It's touching to see the memorial itself and the names of our lost servicemen with a backdrop of the Narrows Bridges.

Thank you Tacoma for the amazing tribute to those amazing men that gave everything for their country. The United states and its people should have a place to remember and show tribute to the true heroes of our freedom. Thank you to all those that sacrifice for me and my family to live free.

This is a beautiful and thoughtful place to remember those who have died to keep us safe. It's a lengthy walk but worth it and bikers are welcome too! I do have photos and will add them when I am back on my account!

This is place full of American History. It has a beautiful flower garden and many Plaques in Honor of the lives that were sacrificed for us to be able to do what we do. It is peaceful and serene as well as beautiful. When I go there I have a happy yet sad feeling inside. I feel for all those sacrifices as well as their families. I have shared many of the plaques with you but there are still more. A Humbling Experience every time I pay my respects by visiting.

A very nice, well maintained memorial park. With a nice walk to view the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

This rare and relatively hidden park memorializing our regions military veterans is worth the detour and your time. The park is unusual in its location and topography, and that is because this was originally the approach to the infamous original Tacoma Narrows Bridge or "Galloping Girdie".

Thoughtful memorial. Like how they put picnic tables by the walls of Honor for those who might be related and want to have a meal close to their loved ones plaque. Nice well-kept landscaping. This is also where you can take the bike path across the narrows bridge. I didn't have any safety issues on my visit.

This really is more of a memorial than it is a park. The best part of it is the Bridge lookout. It's a sight to see. Never thought id see the homeless cut through the thick brush up there but they did.

One of my favorite parks in Tacoma. I come here often to run across the narrows bridge. There is a nice path for pedestrians. A must visit with an amazing view and lots of cool monuments in this park.

It's a decent little park, where you can park your car to walk down to the Tacoma Narrows bridge, or catch a bus for your commute. The parking lot is a little sketchy, though, especially at night. The sun had almost set when I returned to my car, and the park and parking lot were both pretty dark They definitely need more lighting throughout. No restrooms or playground equipment. Dogs have to stay on leash.
