Lengshuikeng is highly recommended for nature lovers seeking a break from Taipei's hustle. It's accessible for various fitness levels with options for short walks or more challenging hikes. Plan your visit carefully considering transportation and potential crowds.
Transportation can be challenging; consider bus schedules or arrive early if driving. The trails can be wet and muddy, so wear appropriate footwear. Explore beyond the visitor center to fully appreciate the area's beauty. Remember that the last bus leaves at 17:00
Super beautiful scenery, even if it’s foggy.
Lengshuikeng at Yangmingshan is a peaceful and scenic spot.
Taiwan has really got it's act together for outdoors!
If you have enough energy you must reach the top of the mountain.
Not a top priority for a tourist, but if you’ve been to Taipei and seen all the main spots, it can be a nice day trip.

Clean and with all the info you need for hikes. Large parking lot. The relief-model of the mountains in the area is interesting. Taiwan has really got it's act together for outdoors! ♥️🇹🇼
Please note that the bus come to here is big bus, but the bus come to QingTianGang is small bus. Come back is the same small bus, the last one is 17:00. If you don’t have car booking, you must careful to see the time and bus schedule.
If drive car - could take at least 2 hrs to stuck and find a parking lot. If take bus, maybe easy when arrive but also hard on the way back, cause tons of people lined up If take Uber, also nice but not sure on the way back, there will be Uber or not.
Lengshuikeng at Yangmingshan is a peaceful and scenic spot. The milky lake is stunning, and the suspended bridge adds to the charm. We took the smaller circuit for a short and easy walk, and the cool weather made it even better. Highly recommend for a relaxing nature visit!
Super beautiful scenery, even if it’s foggy. Not a top priority for a tourist, but if you’ve been to Taipei and seen all the main spots, it can be a nice day trip. You won’t be able to easily take uber to or from here though. It’s quite remote and up a mountain. Some roads are restricted to government vehicles only. You’ll have to take a bus from Shillin station S15. It’s a long ride too. Almost 2 hours one way with traffic. A lot of times, standing room only too. Don’t just stay at the visitor center either. Absolutely walk along the paths, explore the waterfalls, suspension bridge, and other sights there. When finished there’s a gift shop and restaurant where you can grab a bite. Wear good shoes for hiking too. The paths can be a bit wet and muddy. Not for city lovers either. Basically just walking around the Taiwanese forest. Can be a good break from busy Taipei.
Fortunate to have nice clear weather. Strong wind to be honest. I can say the best part of the trail is route to Mt. Qixing (East and Main Peak). Awesome view and fresh air 😊 Now the opposite for going down along trail back to Miaopu towards YangMingSan park. Views mostly covered by tall trees n shrub. Plus the long trail downwards staircase. Challenging for your knees 😅 In total spend about 3.5hrs of slow walking.
Stopped by here for lunch after coming down from qixing peak. Food is okay and just a nice place to rest. We went on the Juansi trail from here to the falls and to the Juansi bus stop. Mostly downhill when you start from here. There are toilets and water bottle refill area as well as trash bins.
Simply amazing for hiking or just sightseeing. Easy access for inside outside. The view was amazing. If you have enough energy you must reach the top of the mountain where they have gazebo and you can stay there.
