昨日久しぶりに高山へ遊びに来ました。 夕食を何処に行こうかと探してたら、たまたま細い路地の奥に赤提灯につられて入ってみたら、偶然に店の前で店主さんと合って、宜しかったらどうぞ😄って声を掛けられて入ったところ何と❗凄い珍味のメニューが⁉️凄い⤴️⤴️絶品👍初めて食しました😄 店主さんもとっても気さくで感じの良い人で、高山へお越しの際は是非立ち寄って頂きたい店だと思います☺️

力車インから徒歩1分。ちょっとわかりづらい場所にあるのですが、店内は安心して落ち着ける場所。「サザエのきも和え」は適度なほろ苦さと磯の香りがクリーミーにまとまって高山のお酒と相性ぴったりでした。

We’ve been to Osaka and Kyoto. We tried many restaurants with vegetarian options. But this was the best so far. Amazingly fresh ingredients, tailor made dishes, made with love and totally MSG free. We recommend this place ❤️!

wonderful. very friendly staff, we weren't sure what to order and just went with some recommendations from locals. was very happy we did. it was amazing!

We went to this izakaya because it was close by where we were for dinner and it had good reviews. Which were entirely deserved! The owner was initially a little shocked that two foreigners had found his place, as it's not exactly advertised for them. But he was incredibly hospitable, kind, and cheery. We had a fantastic couple of hours as the only patrons there (it only sits about 12 in total); the food was delicious (and unexpected, like horse sashimi!), the presentation was great, and the owner was so incredibly kind and conversational (his english was possibly the best we'd encountered in Japan outside of actual tour guides). For a random "hole-in-the-wall" izakaya, we couldn't recommend anywhere more and will definitely be returning there if we find ourselves on Takayama again.

裏道の赤提灯にふらりと夫婦で入ったら大当たり！ マスターの人柄がよく、居心地が良いお店です。 漬物ステーキ、ぎせいどうふ、鴨料理と全てにこだわりが感じられ、どれも美味しかったです。 高山に来る際また来たくなる、とても良いお店です。

細い路地にポツンとたたずむお店です。 せっかくの高山、ここは漬物ステーキをチョイス！ これが焼酎と合うこと、合うこと マスターは気さくだし、店内は騒々しくないので、ゆっくり、しっぽり呑むには最高のお店です。

観光で訪れましたが、くもづやを選んで大正解でした！ 鶏ちゃん、漬物ステーキ、からあげ、鴨のくもづや風、和牛のしぐれ煮、煮物、すべて美味しかったです！ 特に漬物ステーキと鴨は絶品！！！ 二人で9000円弱でしたのでそれも驚きでした！ マスターはおひとりでやっていて、2組しか入れていませんでした。マスターは穏やかな雰囲気で居心地が良かったです！ 次も高山に来たら是非訪れたいところ！ お酒好きな人はぜひ！

After a day of travel we were looking for a local restaurant close to our ryokan, and were very glad we found Kumozuya. Chef/Owner was super welcoming and friendly, and very understanding of my mother's vegetarian diet. I think it would be difficult for anyone to not enjoy a meal here!

高山に宿泊した際にお邪魔しました。 細い路地にポツンとあり、店内はカウンター席が5席程度とテーブル席が2席の小さなお店。 大将が1人で切り盛りされているので料理の提供までに少々時間が掛かります。 待ち時間は気さくな大将や偶然居合わせたお客さんとの会話を楽しんで過ごすのが良いかと思います。 料理は全体として美味しいですが、残念ながらお刺身はダメ。日によって変わるかもしれませんがマグロが水っぽく残してしまいました。 しかし珈琲酒、エゴマ酒？（酔っ払っていたのでもしかしたら違うかも😅）など普段呑んだことの無いお酒も呑ませて頂き楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来ました。 ご馳走様でした。

Very friendly owner, good beers, fun chatting and really, really great food - miso chicken and pickles steak were great! Thank you so much for a lovely time!
