Really nice Hida beef yakiniku, the selections include a variety of different cuts, so there’s a nice range of tastes available. Staff is fast and friendly. It’s stupidly expensive though. I don’t care how good your beef is, it isn’t 5000-yen for one plate good! However, you’re probably going to try the local specialities while you’re in town, and this is as good a place as any to do that.

This is my second time at this restaurant since last year January. I was really impressed with the most expensive menu (飛騨牛ロースまぶし) and decide to order the same thing this time. Unfortunately, the meat quality of the exact same menu is downgraded, less marbling and less juicy. Not to mention the rice and tea quality which is different from the one I had last year too. Hope the shop get back to the former standard again until my next visit.

Stumbled upon this place because other restaurants we googled only accept reservation. Food was pretty decent with yummy beef heart, not for the faint hearted.

Mouth watering Hida beef in Takayama city . The price is worth to try for the selection of beef . Order the set but end up ordering more as the beef it’s so delicious . The beef is from its own butcher shop . Be prepared for a queue and the last order is 2030 .

Great place to eat hida beef. They recommended 3 ways to eat the beef, but I enjoyed the original the most which is just meat and rice. Adding a little bit of washabi to the beef is a very nice idea and it can make it more tasty!

This was my first wagyu experience and I can say it was just awesome. Can't describe how good it is. The restaurant is really cool but be aware of the lines.

I really enjoyed my meal here! You should visit this restaurant when you are in Takayama. The Hida beef and steak were really tasty. They have English manu but the watres didn't understand English.
