Very friendly staff, spacious but somewhat old rooms. Nice shower facilities, and women's toilets but old washbasins and old smelly men's toilets. One last disadvantage is the fact that you hear the constant blower of the air-conditioning of the hotel across the street.

The Ryokan is within the walking distance from the railway station. The host was very kind though speaking only a few words in English. Futon mattresses were comfortable, the sheets were changed every day. There was a fridge in the room and we were served green tea every day. Water in the pool was very hot but you could use only a shower.

Crashed in this Ryokan last minute because Agoda cancelled our booking in another hotel. When you enter the ryokan, it smells like an old japanese house. Room is big enough compared to the usual japanese accomodation. They give free japanese kimono, green tea and biscuits. Communal bathroom and toilet but very clean. I recommend it for people who wants to experience living in ryokan at a good price.

Lovely traditional Ryokan with its own onsen - great experience! Towels and yukata (traditional clothes) were provided in the rooms. Very pleasant staff. Make sure you get familiar with common house rules of ryokans and also rules regarding the use of an onsen before your visit - the hosts will highly appreciate it.

A traditional Japanese guest house. Basic but comfortable. The hot bath was great. The futon was comfortable.

Fabulous traditional experience staying in this Ryokan. Be prepared for communal showering. Had a lovely stay here, and experienced true Japanese Hospitality. Would stay again!

I agree with the other comments that cleanliness could be improved. The bathroom and ofuro were not pleasant.

They came into my room even though there was a do not disturb sign on the door.
