This
ryokan
connects
you
well
to
kamikochi.
it
was
really
easy
to
get
to
this
hotel
from
the
bus
terminal.
the
hotel
staff
will
pick
you
up
with
huge
luggage.
if
not,
walking
should
take
you
5
mins.
as
an
onsen
complex,
you
don't
wear
your
shoes
inside.
the
staff
will
take
and
prepare
your
shoes
for
you
when
you
need
it.
additionally,
the
whole
complex
is
quiet
clean
and
peaceful.
the
room
is
large,
spacious
and
very
comfortable.
I
hardly
wanted
to
leave
it!
Best
thing
I
did
was
to
order:
half
board.
and
I
would
highly
recommend
you
do
the
same.
breakfast
and
dinner
were
spectacular.
as
a
kaiseki
meal,
the
thought
and
effort
the
chef
puts
into
designing
the
menu
everyday
is
so
delicate,
thoughtful.
I
stayed
for
3
days
and
my
meals
were
never
repeated.
you
don't
have
to
travel
to
other
cities
to
have
hida
beef.
because
the
chef
prepares
local
delicacies
and
flavours
each
meal.
in
my
time
there,
the
chef
prepared
local
hida
beef,
local
vegetables
and
pickles
in
hida
style
(both
boiled
and
grilled)
and
hohba
miso
(salmon/mushrooms
baked
in
miso
over
a
magnolia
leaf)
for
you
to
try.
meals
start
very
promptly
so
you
can
expect
service
to
be
impeccable.
everything
was
a
delight!
(special
mention
goes
to
the
staff
who
served
me
every
day:
Mr
Jinyu
Tsujino,
who
was
friendly,
helpful
and
provided
great
service)
the
view
while
you
have
dinner
is
amazing
too.
the
spring
bath
in
the
room
was
very
comfortable
too.
it
was
perfect
for
after
a
long
day
of
hiking
at
kamikochi.
they
have
an
open
air
onsen
for
you
to
book
for
private
use.
free
flow
coffee,
milk,
yakult
and
ice
pound
cakes
were
also
available
on
the
compound.
I
thoroughly
enjoyed
my
3
days
there.
if
you
are
planning
on
visiting
kamikochi
and
can
afford
some
time,
I
would
highly
recommend
staying
here
for
a
peaceful
and
rejuvenating
recharging
time.
