A wonderful place to enjoy handmade, freshly prepared Japanese food - Japanese omelette, gyoza, chicken all amazing. We stopped in for dinner and were so impressed with the food and the friendly atmosphere. An absolute must if you visit Takayama.

Great place to have a drink before or after dinner. Great atmosphere and very friendly and humouristic staff. Very relaxed and child friendly.

We went here as a group of four for some drinks after dinner elsewhere, . There was one bench for four downstairs (the only one) as well as several seats at the bar. The staff were friendly and fast, the drinks moderately priced. There are English menus. We drank several 'cocktails' which were no more than basic spirits (gin and tonic, vodka and orange and similar). The music and atmosphere were great, smoking was unfortunately allowed though nobody smoked while we were there. Overall we enjoyed the bar and would go back for pizza sometime.
