ISARBAR - Hotelbar & Lounge

While staying at this hotel, I came here after hours to grab a drink. It's one of the few places open in the area for drinks late at night. I was not too pleased by their beer selection, but they provide snacks with the drinks and their service is good.

Really nice hotel bar, great design, look and feel. Staff was super friendly, service fast and efficient. Shortly before closing they offered a final round rather tha shutting our group down. Very enjoyable, close to central station.....will for sure be back.

Sehr angenehme Bar. Zwar recht teuer alles, aber diese Bar ist ein richtiges Kleinod inmitten des giga-asseligen Hauptbahnhofs! Gute Auswahl und sehr freundliche Kellner!

ISABAR is a really nice bar located at the entrance of the Sofitel Hotel. The staff were really good and the drinks were a reasonable price for a hotel bar. We would have stayed longer but our friend from Munich, who we had arranged to meet there wanted to show us the city. We will definitely return.

I just finished my sightseeing in the beautiful city of Munich and decided to have a rest. Then i saw Isarbar and decided to give it a try. The service was excellent. Staff were very accommodating and very patient to get my order. The ambience was fantastic. I love thier tiramisu. Recommendable lounge! Thank you for letting me enjoy my time. Location is just near the train station.

I’m staying at the hotel and received a voucher for a welcome drink courtesy of my Accor Diamond status. I ordered a Vesper, stirred, with Lillet. I got a Vesper, shaken, with Cocchi. It was diluted (cloudy instead of clear when stirred), not nearly cold enough and so the texture and cohesiveness was off (made worse by the stronger flavour from the Cocchi). The part that annoyed me was that the bartender was reminded of my preferences by the staff, but the bartender intentionally chose to ignore them, probably thinking his way was better. I will not return.

Eine Hotel- und LobbyBar direkt im Sofitel am HBF München. Schickes Ambiente, nett eingerichtet und mit einer ruhige Atmosphäre. Das Personal ist freundlich und neben guten Drinks gibts geröstete Knabbereien dazu. Eine gute Wahl bevor man in den Abend startet oder als Absacker vor dem Heimweg.

Pornstar Martini… unser absoluter Lieblingscocktail. Hier kostet er 22€ und hat nichts mit dem Cocktail zu tun. Teuer und sehr enttäuschend!

Relaxing setting with a fantastic selection spirits of all categories! The service was fast, friendly, and had excellent recommendations.

Getränke hochpreisig, für eine Münchner Hotel-Bar aber wohl noch akzeptabel. Cocktails waren ok, aber keine Brüller, speziell nicht bei diesen Preisen. Serviceteam war freundlich, aber sichtlich gestresst und unorganisiert. Bude war aber auch (Freitag Abend) voll. Ambiente wäre ganz ok, es war am Tresen aber ungemütlich aufgrund des gezeigten Stresses der Belegschaft.

Die Isarbar im Sofitel München ist ein echter Geheimtipp für alle, die erstklassige Cocktails und exzellenten Service schätzen. Die Barkeeper sind wahre Künstler, die nicht nur klassische Drinks perfekt mixen, sondern auch kreative Eigenkreationen servieren. Der Service ist außergewöhnlich aufmerksam und herzlich – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Besonders praktisch: Die Bar liegt nur wenige Schritte vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Wenn ich das nächste Mal auf meinen Zug warte, werde ich mir hier definitiv die Zeit vertreiben – so wird das Warten zur puren Genusszeit! Absolute Empfehlung! 🍸✨

One of the best Mai Tai I've ever tried!

Amazing service.

First off I never try to leave negative reviews. I was genuinely disappointed with my experience here. A filming crew occupied the bar for over six hours, and guest service was essentially nonexistent. For a property that positions itself as a five-star venue, the lack of communication, attention, and overall hospitality was surprising. Guests should never feel like an afterthought. I hope management takes this seriously, because the standard should be much higher. Maybe do this before service? Nope right during business hours. Then take up the whole bar top. Good job GM.

Had a nice small Birthday celebration here. Chefs dessert and non-Alcoholic drinks on the house for me, my wife and daughter. Ordered 2 further desserts: creme brulee and peach sorbet. I wouldn’t say they were out of the world, but good enough for us to enjoy our time there. Friendly staff. Esp France Semmler.

Went early to have a coffee, friendly staff and good cappuccino. Alcoholic drinks come with a small carafe of nuts, and coffee comes with a macaroon. Nice long lounge bench seating, very comfortable.

Alles was das Hotel betrifft kann ich nur 5+ geben aber die Bar !!!! Sehr trocken und seltsam?! Anscheinend kann man sich nicht alleine hinsetzen ohne bedient zuwerden ! Naja ich zahle auch nur fürs das Hotel und nicht für die blöde bar !!! Leider 😂

Great place for a chill drink

Good food, great ambience and excellent service. We had good experience in this place 3 years ago and when we came back- they dos not disappoint us. We are thinking to visit this place again and again.
