Lovely place with a very friendly 'crew' offering a variety of modern dishes priced very reasonably...

Terrible experience. They charge you more if you are a tourist. They charged my parents 4,50€ for one coffee and because they don't speak French they could not argue back.

Bad experience. We did not reserve as we have an apartment close by. We have dined here before but had heard they had improved the menu and service. How wrong our intel was. We were told on arrival there no places available but as we turned to go away another server offered us a table. We sat outside on the church square but as we arrived around 7pm there still vehicle passing between the restaurant and the square and as most vehicles in France are diesel the atmosphere was at times difficult. (The road is blocked after 8:00pm.) Then there was the head server (stubby beard and glasses) who walked about commanding his staff to do tasks. 'Jules bring more chairs to table x' He took our order and the food arrived quickly, served by another server , and the entrée was very good. My main was overcooked but despite many attempts I could not get the attention of anyone willing to do anything about it. The our first server came after another server told him of my complaint but he was not interested, saying to another server but within our earshot, that I had not ordered my foie de veau, cuisson rosé.Perhaps he thought I did not speak French. When presenting food, cutlery or even bread, he almost throws it at the table often while speaking to colleagues. After waiting I did receive a piece of liver cooked to the desired degree along with the vegetables scraped from my first plate but without cutlery for which I had to stand to make my presence seen. Again the plate was simply plonked in front of me while the server turn their head towards their next chore. We left disappointed and with the district impression that we were not welcome.
