St. Vitus Bar is an absolute disgrace to the hospitality industry. The staff's complete disregard for their customers is truly disheartening. My group of eight was met with an extremely unaccommodating attitude when we were told that seating two tables together was forbidden and we needed to find another place to go. This was despite the fact that the bar was far from capacity and had several empty tables available. The staff's inability to provide basic customer service is a direct reflection of their lack of training and disregard for the well-being of their customers. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. A good establishment always puts the needs of its customers first, and the staff at St. Vitus Bar clearly have no interest in doing so. It's a shame that the bar has such poor management that would rather turn away paying customers than make a simple exception to their seating policy. This lack of flexibility and complete disregard for customer satisfaction is a major failure on their part and a stain on the reputation of St. Vitus Bar. In conclusion, I would never recommend this bar to anyone. The staff's poor attitude and complete lack of customer service makes it a place to avoid at all costs. It's a disappointment to see a bar with such potential fall so short in their customer service.

Horrible service with xenophobic staff. A group of Brazilian people reserved a table for a birthday party, and the birthday person let the pub know in advance there could have been more people coming. They were standing (no seats available) and ordering food/drinks as every other customer, but a very rude waitress took upon her to expel an entire group of Brazilian expats (who were well behaved, mind you) who just wanted to celebrate someone's birthday. Of course the pub has the right to enforce any rules they want to, but politeness and open communication goes a long way for customer satisfaction. They could have warned in advance that standing on the pub was not allowed. They could have given the party an alloted time to leave so everyone could decide where to go. They could have been polite while asking everyone to leave. Everyone working on St. Vitus on Feb 18, 2023 failed miserably in doing any of those things, or having basic human decency, professionalism or social skills. They should not be allowed to work with people whatsoever until they learn basic manners. Not worth your time and definitely not worth your money. Steer clear of this bar if you're not a local, the staff will treat you like less than sh*t otherwise.

We had a great experience here. They have many beers on tap, many of them Estonian, 3 of them their own. We tried the three st vitus beers and were really good. And the food. Such a good selection of pub food. We tried cheese balls in others places before, these were our favorite. The blood sausage chips were also very good. They also have vegetarian and vegan options. Very good service. Also liked the edgy decor, lots of paintings and writing on the walls. This is a good place for larger groups of people I think.

Service is good. It gets packed after 7. You might need a reservation during peak periods (Friday, Saturdays).

A proper pub with a wide selection of craft beers on tap and in bottles, including several tasty and very reasonably priced house beers and a good kitchen. My personal favourite is the house wheat beer with garlic bread (pictured). Service is always great and staff very friendly. For anywhere else I'd knock one star off for the toilets, but it's part of the pub experience and everything else is so good they can get away with it!

Not happy about how they treated my friend’s celebration. They were very rude even though we were all consuming. Even if there are rules about how many people to bring, they should keep in mind those should be informed beforehand and since it was his birthday and a moment of celebration could have been informed in a less rude way. So if you’re going with a big group keep that in mind. They are not thoughtful of that at all.

One of my favourite bars in Tallinn! Girls who work there are always so nice and make you feel welcome. The beer selection is quite big but they are bit of a samey all the time so it's not the kind of a place where you can sample the latest beers and also they could have a bit of a vegetarian options in the menu. Small niggles. Recommended!

I wanted to like this place more as on paper it was great, 20 taps of beer and good location in Telliskivi and the decor is very traditional pub like art and tables. The tap beers were very generic and half of them were out and the service was kind of non-existent. I did see that the regulars got a lot better service, so maybe there is hope. Anyway I hope that next time the selection of taps will be better and the service brighter, can still recommend this place for a visit.

Very nice craft beer bar with a great selection of local taps. Food was also pleasant. Hipster vibes, and a lovely front patio to chill with friends.

I’ve read some reviews about the customer service and I have to say I sadly agree. I’ve come here many times already and I’ve never found it pleasant to interact with. Last time they even got mad because the bar was full and we pulled some chairs together so we all (6 people) could sit around a 4 people chair. They came running to us and told us that was not okay and we needed to make sure we put them back, or otherwise sit in 2 separate tables (?). Good thing about the place is that the prices are very decent and you can also grab some bites. There’s a wide selection of beers, the location is nice, and the place is great inside.

Food was quite dissapointing. The waiter also didn't get our order properly. We asked for sweet potato fries but got regular ones. The loaded fries were not fried, they were cooked. The beer choice though is nice and I can only recommend the place for beer.

Ystävällistä palvelua. Paikka oli todella siisti. Erittäin hyvä olut valikoima ja herkullista keittoa. Edullinen paikka. Kannattaa käydä.

Great place in the Telliskivi area. We've very much enjoyed our drinks and generous servings of food. The decor and overall atmosphere is very chill and modern

Good beer place on the edge of Telliskivi. Can't really call it a Pub by my standards but a great bar! A pretty large choice of local and imported beers on tap and bottled. Very decent Guinness pour to be honest, appreciate that. A good choice of food as well, from finger food to Mac& cheese and meals. The place is big, usually popular with groups of people, a couple of booths for smaller groups that could offer some privacy if needed with closing curtains. Friendly and nice service, I've never been disappointed there. Would more be a choice when looking to accommodate a group of people rather than when looking for a chill place to chat en tête à tête.

Really nice and cozy bar. Quite many different beers from tap and couple of ciders as we. Plenty of different bottled beers as well. Perfect place to hang out with friends. Food is also good and kitchen is usually open quite late.

My favourite place to eat & drink in Tallinn. Very good food offering and such a great selection of beers to go through. Service was friendly but not intrusive. The location is super next to tram stop and near the Deepoo area. I recommend Grandmas Pancakes..

Discovered St. Vitus today, halfway thru my 2 weeks in Tallinn. Very few tourists come here, but it is just a very short walk north of the main train national train station. Max 500m in a straight line between the two. And it is really only a short walk from the Patkuli viewing platform. The team shown in the pic, No 1 tram to Kadriorg, passes directly in front of St. Vitus. VERY interesting quality bar with quality people here, featuring more the younger set, may mid 20s to around 40, but that's an observation based on 1 visit. There were about 30 people there at 5pm of a Thursday arvo. Food is great, nice selection of snacks and meals, I've included pics of the menu. Didn't try any alcohol as it wasn't the day or time of day for me to imbibe, nonetheless, I had a very nice grape juice, perfect temperature, and delicious lightly salted hot sweet potato chips. Perhaps check out one of the latest BBC articles on Food, talking significantly about the use of sweet potatoes in the traditional Okinawan diet, helping assist the longevity of these fine people. It's also only a short walk to the Port from here. I've included quite a few pics of the lovely, and partly unrenovated, old timber homes in a rectangle from St. Vitus. Take a walk along the streets opposite St. Vitus and really get a feel for an older style of living, probably 1700s to 1800s.

Place used to be amazing until a few months ago. Now the prices of the beer got absurdly high and also they dont have a lot of the beers in the menu. Still the food is good also the attention of the people working there.

Good place but slow service. One of the girls just pretending no one was waiting to ask for a drink at the bar :/ Fortunately, another girl was nice and provided a good service.

Great bar that gives off an amazing Melbourne/lively vibe, and an enormous selection of beverages. Visited her during my semi-post-covid trip around the Baltics and Scandinavia, and can say that it provided a great ambiance despite the 11pm covid shut down laws for bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially with assisting with the wide range of alcohol selection. If you're in Tallinn definitely have a chill night at this establishment. Food was nice and will fill the empty void.

Very popular pub in Kalamaja. They mainly offer craft beers as well as some tasty food & snacks. The atmosphere is very youthful and friendly. May be challenging to get a table on the evenings. However, absolutely worth it if you are in the mood for a night out.

St. Vitus is a pub located in the Telliskivi area, close to the coty center and right behind the train station Balti Jaama. Nice place, industrial style typical of the area surrounded by old factories slowly restored, keeping the fashion of the period. Food is good typical of pubs but using defenetly better quality products. I ordered a Schnitzel with fries (really good and well cooked), my girlfriend instead tried the burger(defenetly good!) Good selections of beers. I liked it and suggest the visit.

Lovely selection of ales and pleasant atmosphere. We decided to eat, choosing a selection of starters /snacks from their menu. We ordered 'food for rabbits with hummus' but it came with mayo which we queried with the waiter who said he'd check with chef - he never returned. We then queries this with the waitress who brought our hot food, she said she'd check. Thankfully she did return, apologising and stating there was no hummus left and she'd take the charge from our bill. Whilst paying the bill we noticed the charge was still there, upon questioning this it turned out that the 'big boss' had told the waitress not to take the charge off but no one had had the decency to tell us! Communication not a required skill here unfortunately 😔

I've gone to St Vitus a few times over the last few months, but I don't think I'll be returning after my experience tonight. In short, spoiled food, nonexistent service, and a generally disappointing evening. The service has never been exceptional there, but tonight, after letting our server know that our food was spoiled, nothing was done to remedy the situation--they didn't even clear the food away until thirty minutes later, when we went to the bar and asked them to please remove it, as the smell was bothering everyone at our table. We waited an additional thirty minutes with no service, told another server about the incident with the food, and never received a check. We were ready to leave without paying, after waiting for five minutes at the register without anyone helping us. We decided to walk out the door, and that was the only time our server showed any sense of urgency, chasing us down with the check. We had to pay for our uneaten meals, though they did offer us a 10% discount. In the past, the food and beer has been enough to make up for the unreliable service, but as I sit at home feeling nauseous and dizzy, I don't think I'll have the courage to try St Vitus again for a long while.
