Visited this place many times, all time was tasty food. This time pancakes were overcooked with a lot of oil. Two times they cooked and both times were uneatable. Who is working on the kitchen???

We ate the schnitzel and Pööbel party snacks. Everything was really tasty! I can really recommend. Very reasonably priced.

We enjoyed a Friday evening in this pub with an excellent service and lovely atmosphere. Food and beers also OK. Vanna Tallin as a digestive is a must. Perfect location from the hotel Park Inn also appreciated. Reasonable prices. I enjoyed it here!

Cozy & humble local bar just outside of the old town. If u are looking for a local, no tourist trap bar, this is your place. The food is great, service is fast and ambiance is calm. Definitely recommended

Nice place - close to old town. I really enjoy sitting on the terrace outside. It’s calm and close to the park feels like a bit sitting in nature. Staff is friendly and quick and the home made Ginger-Lemonade is the perfect drink for this warm day in Tallinn. As a snack I had the: „selection of Estonian sandwiches“ and I like the different tastes and combinations of bread and toppings.

Highly recommend the selection of Estonian sandwiches. The liver pâte matches perfectly with the jam. I will definitely come to this restaurant again if i visit Estonia in the future.

Just three stars unfortunately, because they have finished some dishes in the menu any the stuff was a little unfriendly. The food is almost good. Nice atmosphere.

Parking turned out to be quite a problem. We passed the pub, hoping for a place in the nearest streets, but we had to go around the whole old town. We waited a long time for the food, but there were also 6 of us. Some types of food had decent portions, but some were too short. It's cool to sit outside, the interior inside was beautiful. It was ok!

Just out of the city centre, super relaxing atmosphere on the edge of a park with evening sun and shade from umbrellas and trees. Friendly staff, great food and a good drinks menu.

Honestly, I wanted to go to Kalambuur, which is temporarily closed. So I ended up 'one house down' at the 'Pööbel'. Service on a Friday night took all a little bit longer, but the service reacted very attentively and informed all visitors very transparent. The 'Golden Munk' beer is delicious. The 'Baltic Herring in a kama crust' is highly recommended. For dessert, the 'toasted bread with cinnamon and berries' is a dream.

I ordered the pulled pork and garlic bread. It was way too much food, but it was so good, I ate it all anyway. The pork comes on a bed of mashed potatoes with some horseradish on the side. Excellent food. The waitress was great and she spoke English well. Interior was interesting. Great spot.

Great food and so much different beers to taste. Nice, warm atmosphere and kind service. We come here again and again :) Cheese balls here are best you can get!

Great place. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! The pork schnitzel was big enough to get you full. Totally recommend.

Service was slow. Food is really poor for this price: burger ingredients are really simple and untasty - mayo, few tomato slice, “Estoanian” cheese slice, a bit of lettuce and what’s the worst is that burger bun was over fried in huge amount of oil. The only positive sides are atmosphere and beer selection, though over priced.

Lovely terrace and friendly service. The food was good, for me the burger patty was a bit too dry. But it was a really tasty burger and I will definitely come back!

I got fantastic grilled liver potato purée and caramelized red onion. Simply delicious ! :) (est. Maitsev). As a drink Estonian pear cider Hoggy’s. The place offer some other (surely) delicious dishes in convenient price. Their choice of craft beers is excellent. Definitely worth a visit

Really cool place with a lovely staff! I'm giving 4/5 because they were out of almost everything when I was there, but if the selection is better next time I'll change it to a 5/5.

Like other reviews have said, this feels local (although a number of European visitor voices heard), is friendly, reasonably priced, good food, and a good selection of beers - some on tap, others bottled. Much better than overpriced , over busy, old town bars!

Dont let the building outerior fool you; Pööbel is a fantastic pub with really pleasant interior and a great beer selection. Loved the Estonian signature snack of dark bread drowned in garlic.

The food is just tasteless. We ordered pulled pork and lamb patty and both were not okay. I am surprised this place has such a good rating, maybe it was in the past, but right now it’s much worse.

A cosy pub to go for a drink or two. Good location and impressive interiors. I can see why it gets packed. I wasn’t a big fan of the herring in kama crust that evening though, so much so it sent my spirits for the evening down. At some point I was questioning if I could still taste and smell? It wasn’t salted enough or at all and same goes for the potatoes. The schnitzel was safe and I am grateful that I enjoyed the cheese balls.

Pretty place,nice food,good prices and a great choice of beer

I just discovered this place about a month ago. It's my new favorite spot to eat/ drink in Tallinn. Excellent home cooked type food. The garlic bread is fantastic along with all the other appetizers. The pulled pork with potato puree is my absolute favorite. My fiancee loves their pumpkin soup. Overall an excellent experience. Plenty of beers to try as well.

Came to eat, stayed for the drinks. A wide selection of beers from all around Europe, food was good for the price but nothing special. The food is Estonian/Fennoscandian styled.
