hard to say what I think about this restaurant. there were 6 of us and we had reserved a table in advance. the restaurant had recommended us appetizers and told us the price in advance. however, at the time of the invoice, the price was different from the offer 18€ => 21€! we had to ask for a food drink separately for each portion. nobody asked for drink requests. the interior of the restaurant is beautiful and cozy! staff friendly! the food was tasty but the main course was not hot but lukewarm. I recommend you try it because I'm going to come again myself. if the drink service had been better and the main course hot, I would have given 4 stars! and the price of appetizers remained as promised

Quite pricey but their food is simply delicious. Desserts, phenomenal!! Nice staff. Clean restaurant. If you feel for some fancy yet delicious meal, this is the restaurant to go to. Perfect for lunch dates :D

Sisäfilepihvi oli kuin hampurilaispihvi. (Kuvassa juuri tämä sekä mieheni pihvi, millainen sen olisi kuulunut olla). Minun oli kuivaksi kypsytetty vaikka tilattu medium. Miten kokki kehtaa tuollaisen pihvin laittaa lautaselle? Kun palautin pihvin, minulle luvattiin uusi kymmenessä minuutissa, jouduin odottamaan puoli tuntia. Seuralaiseni olivat jo ehtineet kauan sitten syödä ja odottivat kunnes minä olin syönyt. Toinen pihvi oli myös kuiva ja veitsellä ei meinannut saada pihviä leikattua. Todella pettynyt tähän käyntiin, sillä tuota ei meille hyvitetty mitenkään ja kuitenkin hyvin arvosteltu ravintola ja Michelin 2022.

I kind of liked half food i tasted, but today i found out that this one has Michelin recommendation, at that point I expected more . Please note that I do not eat meat, only fish, so that's is from my perspective. I liked sea bass as a main meal, it was really good and interesting, but deserts and starter plate was only average at best. Comparing to the value of the price and food I got, i was thinking about 2 stars, but staff was awesome, so 3 there is. It's ok. Edit/response: my bad, i was informed wrongly about the star, changed that in original review. Will try you again, and my opinion might change :)

This is the best restaurant in Tallinn we been to so far in our 2 week stay here (bar that Tchaikovsky’s furnishing and facilities was hard to beat). Especially the service was outstanding! Our waiter Romel was one of the best and most pleasant we have had! Recommend (but make sure to make a reservation in order to get a table).

When there is "Michelin" advadised on restaurant pages I expect much more. First of all we bump two times to product that are in menu but not available (simple Cava based drink and creps). This should not happen at this level restaurant. Then the minestrone, there where no salt on it and it was totally tastes. Then from my view pasta is like the bussines card for Italian restaurant, so my expectation is the home made but it was not. Otherwise pasta was ok. What comes to buffalo mozzarella and tomatos. The tomatos was hard and raw, no any kind of sweetness and cheese was not good either.

Erittäin hyvä ruoka ja ystävällinen palvelu. Ei ehkä ihan aidoin italialainen miljöö, koska painopiste on ruoassa. Pizzaa ei kannata täältä tilata.

The food was really bad. We ordered a soup, pasta and a pizza. We returned the pizza because it was not taste good and we ordered a new one which we did not eat, it was like chewing gum. We went there because of the reviews but ended up a really bad experience overall. However the staff were polite and professional.

Tyylikkään ja modernin näköinen kuppila. Tänne kelpaa tulla vaikka puku päällä. Alkuun Minestronikeitto. Oli paras minestroni minkä syönyt. Pääruuaksi merenelävä pastaa ja risottoa. Ne oli pienoinen pettymys kyllä. Odotti niiltä enemmän. Italiassa syönyt paljon parempaa. Jälkiruoat taas toimivat oikein hyvin. Meidän pääruuat joku 3.5* arvoisia. Alkuruuat 4* ja samoin jälkiruoat. Tyylikäs paikka kaiken kaikkiaan. Meille silti oli pieni pettymys. Harmi juttu. Kokonais arvio silti 4.

Overrated. Service unattentive and mediocre food. No way we would like to go there again. Normally in Tallinn you get awesome service and food but this was probably the worst experience compared to the price.

Place looks grande and atmosphere is great for celebration. Yet curious why this made the prestigious Michelin Guide considering the overall experience we had. The food just was not great (we had pastas and meat dishes). Truffle pasta was even disappointing - not as flavourful and served in a smallish portion for main course. Plus a poor presentation - again a surprise. Service needs improving too - no one checked with us about our experience, just serving plates and a check. Truely baffling what Michelin people were thinking. Just average food in an above average decor.

Very nice place but unfortunately the food did not live up to the same standards. We had lunch on the cafeteria side. The goat cheese salad was quite unbalanced, lacked harmony. Perhaps grilled goat cheese would be better. The chicken was well cooked and of good taste, but the truffle sauce came quite a bit afterwards so the chicken was no longer as warm as it should be. Nicely presented dishes. Salami pizza ok, but we've had better elsewhere in Tallinn.

The food was really good. If you like fish, I definitely recommend this. However, they are not my favorite, so the selection was not quite to my taste. The service was good and the dessert was great.

Great place ! Excellent tasty food, real Italian - dishes are simple, but very tasty and balanced. Service is perfect! Wish many other Tallinns restaurants to learn from this place how to do great service. Prices are very affordable. Quality/Price rate 5/5. Atmosphere is also 100% nice and Italian style.

As it was near to our hotel we had a coffee and some dessert in the cafe. We liked the service and we wanted to have dinner at night. But it was not a good idea. The restaurant has a nice ambience. But as this is a fine dine restaurant I want to criticize some details. We had 3 courses of meat . -Sliced beef fillet with balsamico, rucola and parmesan -Beef fillet with green pepper and cognac sauce -Grilled beef entrecote with fried onions First two were almost perfect but entrecote was a very bad experience. We don’t mind fat on an entrecôtei. We know it is a part of meat but this was the worst entrecote we saw.This one had an unacceptable amount of vein of very tough gristle. Service was not good. There was a fly in the wine. I tried to take the fly with a fork and expected the waitress to see and offer to change the wine but she only took the fork but did not offer to change the wine. We ordered 3 cups of coffee, 2 of the cups came with coffee stains. In the old town you can find restaurants with better service and food.

Fantastic food, ambiance, service and value for a top place! The Vitello tonnato and the sea bass in salt crust were spectacular. Some of the best I have ever had. Compared to the rest of Europe this meal would have been triple or even more in Switzerland

Once again, amazing restaurant at Tallinn. Service was impeccable, place is really inviting and atmosphere is Italian fine dining. Prices are also affordable, which is a surprise for such a good quality. Date here? Absolutely. Business? Yes definitely. 5/5, no reason to pass this one!😊

Maybe we should have taken something else, but our gastronomic experience was unfortunately poor. Duck and seafood salad 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼Neither did we like the service. Glamorous beautiful place. But we know much better.

I have been coming here regularly for over six years, and I haven't left disappointed even once. The only thing you should be aware of is that the pricing is a little higher than average, and always has been, but the place has proper service, delicious food and a glamorous interior with 5 meter high ceilings - you get what you pay for. Extra points for the private parking in front. If it's your first time, and you like such a thing - try the beef truffle carpaccio :)

Excellent food, but EXCELLENT service from the waiter in the picture. His approach was super friendly but yet professional. I'll be back.

Gave menu with salads, then informed they do not serve in the morning. Why do even give that menu in the morning? Left with no breakfast, only coffee.

We went to Gianny for a dinner. Atmosphere in the restaurant is elegant and stylish. The service was polite and food was tasty. Location of the restaurant is good. Gianni is close to Tallinn harbour area and close to old town. Good price level. Free parking in front of the restaurant.

Worthwhile to comeback. Italian kitchen with perfect quality ingredients. Perfect service. Above the market price level.
