Worst service I’ve seen in a long time, the arrogance and manners of the waiter were actually shocking! Food was presented poorly-splattered all over the plate, tasteless, hugely overpriced and way below average. I would give it a zero rating if I could and would not recommend this place for anyone.

Very nice restaurant with a very good and friendly service. Only the portions were a little odd. In comparison the steak without real side dish was very small for 29 € compared to the 4-5 delicious shrimps (as starter) for 14 €. The bread only looked good from one side. Two of the tree slices where burned on the other side and not eatable.

Ecellent food, affordable price and very good staff. Took beef tartar, served with horseradish icecream (amazing combination) & salamon seviche. They have good espresso. Will return 100%

Whenever in doubt, where to go to eat and drink well, R14 is the answer. Delicious food, professional staff, fantastic wine list, beautiful interior. The service was very friendly and attentive. Food was served fast. And it’s a really romantic place in the evening. The wine list is one of the best in town, as these are all wines from Rein Kasela Veinituba (wine importer/shop). If coming for lunch, you might actually grab some wines to go, as the wine shop is right at the entrance to the left. The sommelier will advise you gladly. This last time we just had a bottle of champagne (Voirin-Jumel Blanc de Blancs Brut) with my girlfriends and I had a ricotta & mushroom ravioli - a perfect match. The ravioli dish was absolutely delicious.

Really nice spot to eat with very pleasant service! We had lunch here and could sit on the terrace. There was enough seating spots so we didn’t need reservations and had a party of four. Looks like the terrace belongs to another restaurant called Oasis and unfortunately there is no name indicating otherwise, so make sure you’re sitting in the right place. Ordered the seafood pasta, ravioli with pesto and the crispy cauliflower. It all looked delicious but speaking specially about the pasta - wonderful dish. It had plenty of mussels, calamari and king prawns, the sauce was excellent and the pasta was enough to leave you full. It’s in the pricier side tho so posting a picture of the menu to help further!

Usually have enjoyed the experience a lot but the last visit was unfortunately mediocre. The bread that was served with shrimps was old and overcooked and the tastes weren’t as good as previously. Hope to give the restaurant another try in a near future.

Fantastic staff and food! We were here as first customers for Sunday lunch and the chef was on fire and sharp to cook for us! Absolutely recommend the tartar and shrimp appetizers. The tartar was fantastic, shame that the cracker cover the whole show tho. The shrimps were sweet and juicy, very awesome too! The herbs did not taste much tho. For main we had duck, lamb shank and fish. The fish was the true rock star of them! The chef succeeded masterfully to dear the sling absolutely crispy, yet keeping the flesh perfectly juicy and tender! Never had this perfectly fried fish!! We spent most the time in awe while eating that fish! The duck and lamb were perfectly done but were bit basic, or lacked the hyper oomph! liek the fish. Overall would def recommend! They even have Michelin 2022 recommendation!

R14 is one of the most romantic places in Tallinn. Food is great, good wine selection and the mood is really nice. Funny thing is that I have eaten Tiger prawn twice and the sauce if to die for. After that it is hard to choose even better main course. I ate octopus first time and aioili that came with it couldn't match the sauce of prawns.

Food was great. Service quite ok. The waiter was perhaps quite new, so didn't know the menu well enough. Also it's been quite strange that they closed at 9pm.

We were lucky with the weather and were sitting outside. I ordered portobello with goat cheese which was really tasty and shrimp salad was also yum! Staff were all friendly. I really liked the bread, maybe it's something really common in Estonia, i donno. Overall positive experience and I would recommend this place.

Since you cant give 0 stars i will settle with one. Food looks good, but never had the chance to try.. 4 waiters working, and there were costumers on 2 tables alone. Still, after waiting forever NO SERVICE AT ALL! Waited like 30minutes for service before leaving the restaurant

Fancy place, the choice of food is not that big, great interior.

A nice looking Italian style restaurant. I really loved the wine selection and especially the valpolicela they have in the menu. The service was very friendly but none asked us how was the food. I had the tartar that was very good as well as the tomato soup. The beef pasta was average. Overall I would not say the food was anything special.

It is a pleasure to reserve five star reviews for a category that is undeniable. The combination of the service, food quality, and management (humble attentive and sincere service bringing food directly from the kitchen to the table even at the busiest of times) of this restaurant push the attractive atmosphere into the background... The menu is creative and competent and absolutely justifies culinary school. I ate not only dinner but lunch the next day.

Excellent food and friendly service. Had the portobello and octopus, both superb. Really enjoyed the evening. Nice terrace area in the summertime. Looking forward to visiting again and trying other dishes.

A nice place in a new neighborhood in Tallin.

This is the most horrible service and attitude Tallinn you'd experience in Tallinn. They promote themselves as being mention in Michelin Guide. The Guide should be ashamed to include this place in any of their lists. There was plenty of seating space available, when we arrived to enjoy some dessert and drinks. We were immediately told that all tables are booked. We mentioned that it won't take more than our to finish our dessert and drinks, but were still refused to be seated. We went to another place and were passing this R14 on our way back to parking after 1,5 hours passed - restaurant was still empty both inside and outside on the terrace. I approached the shift manager asking if the owner is happy keeping restaurant empty, because employees don't want to do their job. Received comment that this is not McDonald's and that you can be only seated with booking. The shift manager behaved uninterested and unmotivated as the rest of the staff. Beware and don't go to this poorly managed place.

Very good food. Excellent service from the vaiter and really positive and friendly attitude. The inhouse dj played some really groovy songs too. Try the Spanish red wine it is excellent. And we loved the burrata and the ravioli. The sweet potatis truffle fries were the best I have ever had. Crunchy, salty and well fried.

Great restaurant find for a quality lunch with friends in October. Would recommend the tomato soup and Pork Ribs / Duck / Beef. Very good, hope we come back one day.

I visited this place 3 years ago and then again today. Both times had the octopus dish and I am very pleased to say the consistency has been maintained perfectly over the years - a proper treat. A real gem in the midst of Rotterman quarter!
