This is a beautiful, well-manicured park right near downtown Tallinn. If you’re visiting Estonia, this is definitely one of the places you should go to, and the best part about it is walking around the ponds, gardens, and forests is free! You can get wonderful photos and enjoy nature without having to pay a big fee. This park is not too far from Tallinn’s old section, but pretty far to walk, so I would recommend getting one of the e-scooters and riding down closer to the park if possible. It generally is very nice temperature-wise in summer, but when we visited it was during a heat wave (almost 90°F) so be sure to bring water! Good thing is, there are sometimes people who have little food trucks selling iced coffee, lemonade, and ice cream right next to the park…though don’t count on them being here. All in all, I really like this park, it’s quite grand, and definitely one of the prettiest parts of Tallinn. Check it out!

Beautiful big garden. You can go easily there by walk (approximately 30 minutes from Tallinn city center) or by bus. Would recommend visit in summer when flowers bloom. There is also palace (we didn't visited).

Beautiful park for a stroll. It is nice to have a walk around the Swan Bond . Japanese style garden is peaceful, a place to relax and walk around, beautiful trees. Lots of flower beds surrounding the Palace. The main attractions here are the Kadriorg Palace and the KUMU. Kadriorg Park is a great place to visit.

What a beautiful place to spend time. Japanese Garden especially is my favorite. Additionally several museums to visit. Lovely cafe near the built in pawn. Something to see and feel in every season. Lovely happenings as well.

A must-visit! I traveled here easily with the old-fashioned tram from the centre, which was quite fun. The scenery is magnificent in the summer. I recommend bringing some snacks, drinks and a good book with you to spend some time here. The garden is a lovely environment to walk around and take pictures. The surroundings of the palace offer many places to sit or lie down and relax.

Gorgeous park in the middle of Tallinn. Really nice space to be around some nature and greenery in the city. Lovely fountain and not far from the palace which is also stunning.

Beloved by Tallinn natives, the sprawling Kadriorg Park is one of the city’s major attractions and is home to several notable landmarks. The park stretches for 1.5 km from its southwest corner to the northeast. With its landscaped gardens, forested paths, statues, and ponds, Kadriorg Park is a gem of a place to explore. The beautiful Swan Lake is one of the park’s highlights, and its elegant island gazebo is mostly enjoyed by swans. If you are here in summer, you’ll often see plenty of picnickers and sunbathers.

Very nice park in Tallinn. At some places tha grass was not cut, but that wilderness just made it even better. There are some water features and nice houses or palaces inside. Even squirrels can be seen.

Kadriorg is beautiful at any season of the year. I am so blessed to be living in such amazing area. A perfect get-away place for a family in the middle of city. Peaceful, child-friendly, dogs allowed on a leash. A happy place to be alone or with friends.

▶️ The year is 1714, Peter the Great 🇷🇺 bought 70 ha area close to city centre. He wanted a new European-style summer residence near Tallinn which became Kadriorg Palace. The construction started in the summer of 1718 led by Italian 🇮🇹 architect Nicola Michetti. Between 1718 and 1723, Michetti lived in Russia Russia, and became employed by Peter the great as court architect. The palace and the garden were constructed at the same time and their designs included several Baroque elements. 💥World War II was hitting Kadriorg badly. The destruction of several buildings and trees. Kadriorg palace and park and garden remained ravaged and in bad conditions for years. Finally independence of Estonia 🇪🇪 happened in 1991. Now extensive renovation works were launched at Kadriorg Palace and Park. You will find several museums here like the Estonian art museum. Or just enjoy the walk in the park. Check also out the Japanese garden.

We didn't check the art exposition inside the Palace but having a walk all around the surroundings is highly suggested. The park is huge and it is very suggestive during winter. Also, with just a 15-20 minutes of walk you will find yourself on the long seaside promenade with an amazing view of the baltic sea.

This is very special place for me. As well as for most Talliners. I was visiting this park since childhood and many memorable moments happened there. Great place to walk, enjoying the weather. There is few ponds, lots of walking paths and old beautiful trees. Located near the sea it is the pearl of the city and must to visit place.

This is gorgeous park worth a visit if going to Tallin. It is outside Old Town but easily accessible on tram or bus or even a walk if you have the time. In winter it makes the perfect Christmas poscard. There is a cafe at the start and few restaurants nearby.

A very beautiful park outside the center of Tallinn - there are lots of spaces to walk and look around. The pagoda in the water is especially nice in the summer.

One of the nicest parks I've been to whilst travelling. We went on a day where all the museums were closed but, we still wanted to visit the park and enjoy it and I'm really glad we did. When we went there had been a massive storm the day before so there was a lot of damaged/fallen trees being cleared up but, we loved walking around the Palace, Japanese Garden and woods, we also saw the Russalka monument, lots of wildlife and had a coffee from the cafe. Easy to get to from the town via tram which brings you pretty much to the entrance.

If you find yourself in Tallinn during the winter months, I highly recommend paying a visit to Kadriorg Park. The park is absolutely stunning in the wintertime, with a thick blanket of snow covering the landscape and creating a serene and ethereal atmosphere. The trees, heavy with snow, seem to bend under the weight, creating a picturesque and picturesque scene. One of the things that I loved most about visiting Kadriorg Park in the winter was the feeling of being completely immersed in nature. The park is large enough that you can easily find a quiet spot to take in the beauty of the winter landscape, and the absence of leaves on the trees allows for long views across the park. Overall, Kadriorg Park in the winter is a truly breathtaking and peaceful experience that is sure to leave you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. It's a perfect place to spend a day with family and friends, so be sure to add it to your itinerary if you're in the area.

Short of words, the whole park including the presidential palace and the Japanese styled garden. Was a spectacle to behold.

Marvelous, beautiful and many more words can go for this park. Its huge park of around 250 acres. Lovely fountains, swan lake, flower gardens and the palace. The place is beautiful and has lovely art museum. Not a over-whelming palace, you love to look around. A must visit for sure.

There was plenty to marvel at in the park from canals, bridges, waterfalls, statues and old trees and buildings. Kooker was the perfect snack time after an adventure in the park right next to the playground and children's museum. Melt-in-your-mouth salty and sweet mini-pancakes with dips take away your hunger, and for a friend, for example, cold rhubarb lemonade or good coffee to warm you up. The price-quality ratio is really right!

Nice and well-maintained park in the city. Many popular and regular public activities are hosting here. Also the park is the house for some hedgehogs 🦔 and hares 🐇. You will enjoy walking here for a whole year.

Great symmetrical park. It’s quiet, has plenty of parking, castles, fountains, footpaths, flowers, children’s play areas (at least 2) and cafeterias offering ice cream and cakes. The park took its present form in the interwar period. One of my favorite places in Tallinn

Absolutely beautiful and stunning place! Perfect for photoshoots and families, especially in summer. There's an impressive and colorful castle with the history, arts and sculpture museum inside, amazing rose garden with over 30 rose species, as well as plenty of walking paths and places to enjoy some nature. There's a lot of people during the summer and on the weekends, but since the park is so big, there's enough place for everyone!

One of the beautiful park we have seen. We visited in end of September and the trees and flowers were an eye candy. It was a Saturday and was bit crowded but it is a big park so we didn't felt it was crowded. We took a Kadriorg Tramp and the Tramp stop is directly in front of the park.

(Translated by Google) Kadriorg Park was founded by Peter I in 1718, when Kadriorg Castle and a beautiful flower garden began. Kardioru Park is the most prominent Baroque style park in Estonia. It is still significant in terms of area. Who wouldn't know about the swan pond or sundial in Kadriorg Park? On the 100th birthday of the Republic of Estonia, the tree planters are marked on these plates. I went to examine all these trees, I found very honorable royal wood donors on the boards.
