The new permanent exhibition of the museum is named Songs and Stories because we present stories through theatre and music which belong to the Estonian literary classics and songs which are part of the repertoire of every Estonian. Through these songs and stories, we introduce both younger and older theatre enthusiasts the collections of the Estonian Theatre and Music Museum, as well as the history of our country, which has an important role in our music and theatre.

The 2 folks working there were very nice and as I came late the guide invited me on an express tour of the museum. Feels like a very good museum for adults and children to understand how theatre and music is important in Estonia:)

Had a nice time inside. The place is small, but you can play with different instruments. If you know how to open and play a piano, you can use the Estonia concert piano in the exhibition room.

It is a wonderful museum! This is so well presented, really interesting and the staff are really friendly. Thank you for allowing me to try your beautiful piano!

Some very interesting parts & moving pieces of music. Disappointed that one display video didn't work - the 2001 Eurovision winner & Arvo Pärt!!
