🫤 Very small, limited equipment and often have to wait to use it... loads of cardio machines but essential machines like hamstring curl and shoulder press nowhere to be seen, joined and left after 2 months as it didnt meet what I need in a gym, over-priced too People often mention equipment, machines, classes, good, staff, clean, friendly, great, nice, space,

Great gym good equipment but it could be more visually pleasing me and a couple others suggest adding some nice LED coloured lighting

Barely any machines available during times 10am-8pm on Mon-Fri, it’s ridiculous. There’s no personal space at all and everything seems crowded. Vending machines are ridiculously overpriced, only good thing I can say is for £18 it’s a decent enough membership.

Great Gym. Very popular among young millennials. Under 20 quid, no contract, many free classes, good range of equipment. Staff are very welcoming. They encourage you to join classes, offer help anytime you need. It's very clean as well as they keep the equipment and the areas clean. All good!

It's very clean and kept tidy always with super hardworking staff. Only thing holding it back is the cluster feeling. A lot of treadmill and bikes just lying around not being used whilst most users are interested in the weights and lifting.

Went in at 9am, very few people at the time. Plenty of equipment, well maintained. Nice clean gym. I only wish it was easier to find the weights, they were all over the place. Free parking for members for first 4 hours.

Love this gym! PureGym has all the equipment you could possibly think of, and is open 24 hours which is great for everyone trying to fit the gym into their busy schedules! I used to go during the late hours of the night or early in the morning as there would barely be anyone there and you would have the freedom to go on pretty much whatever you wanted. Think the women’s changing rooms shut about 4am, not sure specifically, but not really an issue as you can carry your bag around. During the day staff are friendly and supportive also. Easy to get into the gym, you just type in your code and go through revolving doors so there is maximum security here which is amazing. They have a machine which tells you your fat and muscle percentage and you can weigh yourself. Even have a sports water machine where you can decide on your flavour and how strong you want the flavour to be. Everything you could ever need at a gym and more, couldn’t fault it! They have lots of classes throughout the week but haven’t tried so can’t comment. Amazing gym!

Mixed feelings about this gym. The Yanga water doesn't give full measurements and the machines all feel cramped around each other, on the plus side, parking is free, there's plenty of lockers, and HOT SHOWERS.... The only PureGym within a 20 mile radius to have hot showers

Got the essentials but is nothing compared to urban exchange puregym. Needs the new benches and free weights. Could do with some additional machines for more variety

Really good 24/hour service we’ll cleaned and maintained and very good to make sure the machines are in working order as much as they get used

I always saw the gym as a fear but soon as I stepped foot inside the staff are so friendly and I slowly started to gain my confidence. Elen the New manager assistant is amazing always up for a chat and to help people out plus her spin classes are so fun and up beat ! I would definitely recommend this gym . If you’re nervous to start classes definitely start with the spin class it will get you out your shell !

Pure in Ashton is a fantastic gym with a variety of fitness classes for all levels and large car park. Instructors are on the whole fantastic, especially Carlos and Craig who run consistently brilliant classes and are great trainers and PTs.

Beth gives the BEST gym classes. Always pushes you and is really enthusiastic which makes you work even harder. Really enjoyed the legs, bums and tums and stretch class

Staff here are very approachable. I have attended classes with Beth, Floyd and Craig which gives me a nice balance throughout the week.

Having not set foot in a gym for 20 years I was really happy with the place. Everything needed to get a good workout in, chilled atmosphere, was very happy with it. Booked a few classes for next week and making my second visit tomorrow

Ok sometimes can't get on machines depends when u go,also got sanatized hand stations and cleaning stations to wipe down equipments, but few lazy people won't clean after going on 1 machine after another sweating ,only takes 10 sec ,same culprits day in day out

I Joined the gym about two months ago, and since then I have tried different classes but I have to say that Bootcamp at 10am on Sunday is one of the best class! Sam James is a great istructor, he really involve everyone into the class with his energy! Is a great fun and great workout thank you Sam:)

Pretty good. Classes are very limited, especially cycle classes. Lots of add ons that cost a small amount and quickly add up. Started on £15 a month and left them once I got to £25

Nipped in for a quick look round during my night shift and it looks decent, nice and clean and plenty of kit with not a single piece "Out Of Order"

  • 2/5 Ragnar 1 year ago on Google
It has 2 floors and has a nice range of machines, but my god its packed, I mean even at 5-7am there's a good chance the machine you need is not available.

  • 5/5 Craig C. 1 year ago on Google
Really well equipped gym and it's very clean which is important to me. The staff are friendly, even if you don't know them they always give you a nod. Would recommend to anyone of any level, even beginners like me.

Great gym with great equipment. Staff are always friendly and lots of space especially if you go off peak

  • 2/5 Itzz L. 2 years ago on Google
This building is really small for a pure gym, always packed and you have to wait for equipment and machines due to only having one for different muscle groups. Overkill on the amount of cardio bikes too that’s needs to be replaced for more machines. They need multiple bench and deadlift places zones instead of just one which gets packed. Machines are set all over the place and they need to be set into an actual order to use the space efficiently. Overall not worth coming to this particular building maybe it’s better in other ones but this one needs expanding asap

Standard pure gym, good to be able to come whenever I want, machines are well maintained and regularly cleaned. I do haaaaate the 5 second shower button though and miss having a pool and steam room.

It's very good only i wasn't there i was in Jollys next door. Now that's better training taking your dog 🐕 for a walk 🚶‍♂️ 😉

Plenty of equipment. Quiet late evening. Clean

  • 4/5 Rizwana Aysha B. 1 year ago on Google
Spacious and not too crowded. Enough equipment to work out, as well as floor space to warm down after. Just need to fix the AC in the downstairs studio (imagine the winter days). But other than that, pretty decent PureGym

😠 Disgusting attitude on the phone and absolutely no service provided, no Internet access at time and refused to book me and my child (what do you expect people without Internet to do?) Staff member is just extremely lazy. (NOT all staff as I've had no issue last month and they were very pleasant) 28/...

😠 This review is for swimming only. The changing area is an absolute disgrace. They have mud, talc, dirt, and blocked drains, and it makes it worse that the classes leave the clothes in the cubicals to make it harder to find one to change in. The toilets (Male) were today blocked and had overflown wit...

😠 DO NOT LET THEM ROPE YOU INTO A DEBIT FINANCE LINK UP PAYMENT! I have just spent far too much of my time trying to cancel my membership with this Gym. Rather than the contract being with the Gym itself I found out that it was with Debit finance.. something I had no idea of until about 2 months ago...
