    Well first of all, the posting online looked beautiful, however after arriving going to the sub division, I was already having reservations. It did not look clean at all. I met with leasing person not to mention names, started the very short walk through. Was taken to the model apartment, which was not very clean and there was an yellow dirty overflow in the bath room sink nasty. Laundry rooms are apparently out side and there was a Hugh over flow of water right in front of the machines, not good. Did not get a tour of the pool areas, dog park etc...... Fitness room is only open during business hours, I was told 24 hours, I was told laundry in the unit not true only 3 bedrooms. This place is differently not my fit. $1,455.00 plus trash $27.00 monthly for 1 bedroom 830 Sq feet, is absolutely ridiculous. $1,450.00 plus trash $27.00 monthly for 1 bedroom 768 Sq feet (5.00) difference. Don't get that. Review not good!!!

    Ok sooo, I'll start by saying property manager Jacqueline is super nice and helpful. My move in, in October was very smooth. The apartment is affordable and it's a really nice size one bedroom apartment. However, a few things that I really have an issue with is upkeep in the complex it needs some major updating (stairs are disgusting, walls need to be power washed and painted) it's just not maintained well at all. Other thing is roaches. I almost wish I listened to reviews before picking this one. I literally hate bugs and I keep everything incredibly clean. I've seen some in bedroom(which yes is absolutely disgusting), kitchen often and sometimes in bathroom. Pest control has come and I have boric acid powder everywhere. Also,another thing to take note of that I didn't know. This isn't a safe complex to live (Google this complex and read articles). There have been a few things happen that management has been discreet about. Definitely was not happy living there and was able to move out. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

    The absolute WORST apartment complex I have ever experienced. Maintenance marks work order as complete without ever showing up , units are sold as “ renovated with new flooring” vinyl flooring that was already lifting and bubbling/ ripping the day I moved in. ROACH INFESTED !!! Some of my furniture was absolutely ruined due to the terrible bug infestation in the buildings. Do yourself the favor , and save yourself the headache and DO NOT MOVE HERE! Wish I could give no stars , as this has been the worst living experience I have EVER encountered. EDIT: ANY GOOD REVIEWS ARE SPECULATED TO BE FAKE AS THEY ALL REVOLVE AROUND STAFF. ANY ONE I HAVE SPOKEN TO THAT LIVES HERE AGREES.

    I submitted an application and the required paperwork to be added to the lease of an existing tenant as requested. Everything went through until a former tenant, that was related to the existing tenant, decided to for whatever her reasoning was, decided to go into the office and become belligerent with the staff and cause a ruckus. as a result of these actions and unbeknownst to the existing tenant, her lease renewal was denied, causing her to be displaced and eventually caused her to become homeless due to the unknowing actions of someone else. I hadn't even made it to town yet as a credit check was ran, and was assured that everything was approved, after spending quite a bit of money to prepare to relocate, we were told that we had to leave because of the actions of this former tenant, disrupting all of the plans of my relocation. The office was adamant about their decision. So much so, that no one would even tell us what we did. to which we hadn't done anything wrong, Everyone involved refused to give an explanation. As a result, i was displaced because of the senseless actions of someone else, my credit was pulled, i then had to secure a place to live. I am currently seeking legal counsel to bring a cause of action against Belara Lakes. Since no one was willing to tell either of us what we had done, i will leave it up to an attorney as soon as I file the necessary paperwork. You absolutely don't deserve any stars.

    DO NOT MOVE HERE!! WORST APARTMENT IVE EVER STAYED IN! There's always THRASH EVERYWHERE AND MANAGEMENT IS LAZY. Its basically the hood. The police chased someone right pass our back yard. Our apartment got FLOODED 3 times in 6 months cuz they didn't want to fix it properly the first time. It damaged my ceiling, walls, and furniture. We would have to go to front office at least 6 different times for them to even do anything. We ended up getting roaches everywhere and they acted like they couldn't do anything about it. I just couldn't take it anymore. Hope this was helpful.

    I’m giving it a one star due to the apartment being big ONLY, OTHER THAN THAT I WOULD NOT GIVE THIS PLACE ANY STAR AT ALL. I just moved in 28 days ago 8/18/2023 and I already regret it. It is 3:07 am and my ac is not working and no one responds to the emergency line. I called them at 10pm when i noticed the apartment felt really hot and no air was coming out the vent. This place has the WORSTTTTTTTTTT maintenance crew and the WORSTTTTTTTTT OFFICE COMMUNICATION. If you’re like me and my husband that you like to look at reviews believe that this one is true and everything that everyone said is true too. From my very second day here my master bedrooms bathroom has been messed up with the drain in the bath tub i put on so many work orders and nothing effective gets done. They run the snake and put liquid and think it’s good, yeah it’s good for one day then in back to putting another request for the bathroom so annoying. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE LIVING HERE LIKE ANOTHER COMMENT SAID UNLESS YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT HOW YOUR LIVING THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE AT ALL.

    The property is awful, but work orders aren't being completed, and there is often a message saying complete when the work order isn't even done. They take their time doing maintenance, and sometimes they don't even repair. I put in a work order months ago, about my refrigerator, and nothing was done about it. Now my freezer isn't working at all. Last weekend I had no heat, and roaches are a big issue. Take my advice, don't move here. Stay away the place is horrible

    I've been contacting this apartment community for 2 weeks now and these people has literally took my $155 and have not processed my application fee! I told these people I had to move by the 1st here it is the 27th. 4days before the expected move in date and she's still telling me she has not processed the application!!! When I sent my assistance to go on the tour the day I applied the gentlemen there informed her and assured the application will be processed. And, I should receive an email with my lease by the end of the day. and here I am now asking for refund sadly because you failed to process the application and didn't give a proper reason why. But, insisted on telling me your problems instead of apologizing and processing the application!!! Your property manager is very unprofessional and need to take a class on professionalism and business management!

    Went to look at an apartment and see if the place seemed worth it the model apartment had alot of issues. When we pointed out the model apartment looks bad which doesn't make us feel confident in the places you rent they stated it's a model and they've been working there so many years no one has ever looked so throughly and basically weren't worried about it the maintenance manager sat down to add his opinion and said we were taking "shots at him" by pointing out the issues and the fact that the apartment was dirty and said that we should make a list of what's wrong with the apartment for him when we brought up all the issues as if that's our job when he could walk the model himself and clearly see the issues the staff was very rude very unprofessional and that's how they treat a potential resident I can't imagine how they treat their current residents I recommend not wasting you're time and if you have to go there to check out the place do your research

    I moved out of this place months ago and they STILL are giving me issues. They are harassing me and lying under my name stating I never paid for water and sewage for the last month. I have proof of payment and the proof of transaction. NOW I had to waste my time to go send that letter to dispute that. So make sure y’all are taking screenshots and keeping every record of payment with these thieves. I pay my bills on time all the time, if anything I pay my stuff EARLY. Y’all are not coming for my credit. This place is THE worst. Roaches, Rats, Floods and even if you think you’re good on parking cause you pay for a “reserved” spot… think again. Upstairs neighbor was EXTREMELY loud. Might as well have lived with her I could hear her conversations. A big middle finger to you all.

    Less than 72 hours and the key to unlock the deadbolt on my front door fails to unlock the door. I guess Belara lakes wanted to ensure maximum security because not even their tenants can access the door. Don’t bother maintenance on the weekends because they won’t help. definitely going to start looking for apartments after this, I appreciate my neighbors for saving me $6,500 on a massage bed, the boomin base practically knocks me off my bed. As of right now I would not recommend moving here, you will be wasting time and your time is expensive just keep it pushing.

    Unless you got no other options I’d look elsewhere. I just off a deployment if you know anything about military deployments you can end up with a lot of money. These hacks own bank account rejected my 155 payment (my bank notified me that my payment was returned because the receiving account wasn’t setup to receive my transaction). So now they hustling me for money for fees that weren’t my fault but they’re own. So I’m going to use my money I earned in unfavorable conditions whilst deployed and break the lease and search for “ a more giving” place to call home! Also they won’t reply to any form of communication is they find discrepancies with you as their tenant. To casually sum this up, “just keep it pushin G you better than this place!”

    You get what you pay for. It's not too bad of an apartment complex. Really just wish the trash came every night like it's supposed to. Then I'd give 4 stars. 5 if the gym opened up in the evening/weekend for people who work during the week. Like set up a card system or something.

    I wanted to give a BIG KUDOS to the following staff members in the leasing office. Griselle is nice and always willing to help you. She will go the extra mile to resolve your issues. She walks around to the to spot check things. Genesis is helpful, polite, and professional. She takes pride in the way the property looks. Darryl (the maintenance supervisor) is great. He has a positive attitude and is honest. He sets the expectation of repair. He comes and reviews the repair work after it is completed. He does quality assurance on his staff’s work. Things happen, but I know if I bring it to any of these great folks it will be resolved in a timely manner. Thank you guys for your hard work.

    Honestly, I am fed up with this place. I came to google immediately to write a review. It is a livable area if you DON’T CARE about the conditions. I payed extra for a “renovated kitchen” which just means white cabinets and a janky floor job (always sticky no matter how many times you clean it). Maintenance team was not always the best(they are improving). They seem very friendly but I had to harass them about my broken AC for an entire month. Then I had to harass them about picking up the portable AC they left in the apartment for MONTHS. However, my biggest problem with this place are the BUGS. I spray ORTHO Roach spray constantly and it just doesn’t do anything because the place is infested. I even used BUG MD amongst other extermination methods. Nothing works. The entire buildings need to be bombed. The staff seems okay. Sometimes they are friendly but other times they sound agitated with your complaints and then begin to speak over you. Lastly, valet trash SUCKS. We pay extra to have our trash thrown out for us but at this point I’d rather throw it out myself. Floors are ALWAYS sticky and dirty because of the trash that leaks or falls out of the bags. Also people will discard their trash into your can rather than their own. It was fine when I first moved in but now I hate it here.

    terrible place. no one in the office seems to communicate with each other. seems run like a whole scam. the reviews tell the tale, idk who they're paying to write 5-star reviews, but listen to everyone else and steer clear. completely unprofessional

    Over 6 months I have been dealing with the upstairs neighbors noisy walk. At night early morning all day he walks as if he weighs 600 pounds. Saturdays here is terrible because he always does it. I can not stay in bed a bit later because of the way he walks its horrible. Back and fourth. If he does not work why does he wake up so early 5 a.m. and just to make noise . In this building also people are loud and the smell of cigarettes inside the bathroom both of them is everyday . I have complained but it continues. I can move tomorrow from here and if the management does not address this situation they will always have complaints. At least they watched the stairs. Maintenance is more needed to clean the buildings hallways and stairs. Not once all ways. At this date October 4 2023 the three men that live upstairs continue with the noisy walk all day the smell of cigaretts in both bathrooms is horrible no consideration. The old man who does not work is always walking loud at all hours banging with something in the bedroom wall and when the three are up there is the worst they let things fall very loud and even run. I have done complaints but now i will be calling the corporate and the housing managment people here in the office do zero and the maintence is horrible to.

    Moved in about 3 weeks ago. My apartment is nice but it is remodeled. Jacqueline was helpful. There is a lot of trash thrown outside. They cleaned it up but people keep throwing more trash. The place being messy has more to do with the people living here than with the staff. The trash man does throw all the trash outside and drag it which is pretty gross. Has a nice dog park and the pools seem nice too. A lot of the fenced yards were falling but they’re fixing those. The place just needs a good power wash as some of the buildings are dirty. They should put cameras if possible by the big trash bin if possible and start fining people for throwing items away. That would help with all the trash being accumulated. I love my apartment but the outside does look dirty sometimes due to all the trash.

    I lived here for two years. The office staff is hard to get ahold of, the common areas were not ever super clean, and often there are drug deals, people stealing packages and people casing the place. The maintenance staff however was super friendly and always did a quick and efficient job when doing repairs.

    Jacqueline is thee best of the best. This woman look like and act like an executive she already knows her worth and treat others as their worth. When you approach Miss. Jacqueline please have it together. Miss Queen will respect you as the King or Queen you bring to the table. As a team of all workers here are really working hard to make this place great. Thank you Miss Jacqueline for all you do. The Management it goes without saying because otherwise the staff wouldn't have the light that shines on this property.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Maintenance be on their Job

    My time here has been a mix of good and bad. The good is that Genesis in the front office is incredibly nice and is great at her job. She is very sweet and works very hard! She made the move very easy, despite the earlier complications of not being able to contact the actual apartment complex. They are understaffed so it makes sense. The tenants here are messy, or rather, some are, and leave their trash everywhere, but valet picks it up everyday thankfully! The soundproofing on the left/right walls is great, I cant hear my neighbors and I appreciate that, but the sound ABOVE is awful!! The apartment complex upstairs is so loud and we can hear every thing they do whether it be screaming at their kids, or playing games and watching loud movies until 5am in the morning. They are very inconsiderate and its often hard to sleep because of how loud they are! We are looking into filing a noise complaint, if it will finally enable us to sleep/work. Sadly, our back door to the actual backyard is broken and has been since we moved in a month ago, and we're still waiting on maintenance to fix it, as its a safety hazard that we cant even open our back patio door. Our apartment itself is decent, and we've been able to make it comfy here. I appreciate that we get an outdoor/backyard space to use, especially since we have dogs. It's comfy, and if our patio door could be fixed and the upstairs neighbors would stop being so loud, I could appreciate my time here more, as the apartment complex itself is not a bad place to live.

    Worst place to live. Ghetto as hell. The people in the office never answer their phone and when they do they are rude and not helpful. There’s bugs everywhere. Trash. Neighbors are loud and obnoxious. I called about my hot water not working in my shower and the lady told me that’s not an emergency. Do not move here whatever you do. Worst decision I ever made can’t wait to leave !

    This apartment complex is the worst place to live, my husband and I have suffered through so much dealing with this. We spent hundreds of dollars on rat traps I bought my own carpet cleaner to wash my carpet every two days just to keep a clean place we have complained about this and still nothing. I’m crying every day because of this situation, the people in the office could care less. I can’t wait until our lease is up DONT MOVE HERE !!!

    Applied online having seen what seemed like a pleasant virtual tour (wasn't able to make it in person at the time). Luckily I scoped the place out prior to moving in because that place was absolutely disgusting. Bugs and trash everywhere. Absolutely no sign of maintenance or care done to the place. Felt as though I would have contracted something if I stayed there. I even asked to view the apartment and was told a flat no because of maintenance. Would rather you guys keep that $250 application fee and put it towards a pressure washer or something.

    I had a tour scheduled, went to the place and was NOT impressed!! I didn’t even go inside. I left right away because the place looked dirty and the neighborhood did not look safe at all. So this is a no. I wouldn’t waste your time here. I drove an hour during morning rush hour and wasted time I will never take back. Just a horrible place so nasty.

    I love Genesis!!!! She’s very straightforward so her tenants will know what to expect, and never be in the blind about nothing. She is VERY UNDERSTANDING & sweet. Even though she always busy she finds a way to reach out as soon as she’s available! I know it maybe hard being a landlord for a lot of tenants but I really appreciate you being very knowledgeable and helpful 💕

    This place has gotten worse every year. We have complained about the upstairs neighbor's kids running and stomping and nothing has happened. The complex is Constantly dirty. We have closet doors that we have asked to be replaced for 3 years now. The complex takes responsibility for nothing.

    The MANAGER and GENESIS are excellent in what their doing. They helped us solve a problem that you can't imagine. The manager and Genesis are very understanding and care for their tenants. Jonathan Melendez and I are very grateful for what you guys did. Both were very kind and helpful! And love how genesis is straight on what she says, always very helpful and explains everything how it is. We had some little problems before and Genesis help us manage them. They went above and beyond! We really appreciate everything Genesis and the Manager did for us. -THANK YOU. ❤️

    No maintenance requests completed. Still waiting for window screens for the master bedroom and the kitchen. Still missing a shelf in the kitchen cabinet from move in date back in July 2023.

    My AC stop working, I talked with the office manager. The AC was fixed promptly and efficiently. I appreciate that the office manager sent Fidel to fix the problem. Fidel always has done a great job taking care of problems in our apartment period. Today, Wednesday January the 18th, the complex crews leader and 2 of the maintenance mens took care of 2 needs that we had in the apartment. We appreciate their promptly assistance. Thanks.

    The maintenance manager himself came by, explained the error and really made sure my issues were addressed. I really appreciated his help in resolving my patio door and electrical issues. Everything is good! Thanks.

    I just moved in and day one they apartment wasn’t ready. Was promised they would finish the next day and never came. They then promised to make the repairs Saturday. Still no one and now all of the sudden the office is closed on Saturday? Let’s talk about what is it needed: master bedroom door missing (not sure how that is a normal thing) bathroom unfinished, stove doesn’t fully work, patio door broken, almost NONE of the sockets work. Just a select few the bathroom light switch shocked us. The boiler room door is broken and the floor is rotted( eventually it’s going to fall right into the apartment under us). I knew I wasn’t moving into a resort style of living but come on like this just wrong. Staff are nice but they don’t get paid enough to make miracles it’s the owners that need to be reprimanded on maintaining building codes and this building has so many violations I not sure how they are condemned. I’ll be dili g a complaint with the state.

    After the first request was not handled properly, Belara Lakes Mgmt sent the most courteous staff member to help my mother with her broken stove. He went above and beyond for her and even replaced a fixture she had purchased for her stove. Thank you for taking time and being courteous with my mom.. It means everything. Thank you!!
