Absolutely amazing staff and craftsmanship. I left my rings to get resized and serviced and boy did they come out gorgeous! I’m so happy I can wear them again, and the sparkle and shine of the gold is breathtaking. I will certainly be bringing it back to get serviced here, no need to look for another jeweler.

I sold some sterling flatware. I went in prepared with a couple other quotes and theirs was the best. The owner was working with me and they made me very comfortable that I was being treated fairly. Their experience and history of the business was obvious. Highly recommend! I'll be back for that wedding ring upgrade in the near future. One of my best shopping experiences ever.

I stopped into this store to sell a few pieces of my jewelry due to the great reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. My items were quickly evaluated, and I was offered a fair price. They do not pay in cash; I received payment via check. However, this was not a problem as the check cleared without issue. My experience was very good, and I highly recommend Arthur Yates & Sons Jewelers.

I go here to sell any silver or gold I have and they give a fair price and good treatment. I live in north Tampa so it's at least a half hour drive just to get there but I pass other places I could go to go here instead because I trust them. They've been in business a long time and aren't some corporate mega company which I appreciate. I called the international diamond center and asked for their rates for silver and they told me to get quotes from other businesses and then come to them to see if they could beat it. This struck me as extremely shady and unprofessional that they couldn't just tell me the price that they pay for silver . I went to Arthur Yates the following day and asked them their rate for silver which they immediately told me with no hesitation. Nothing is shrouded in mystery as far as what your going to get for selling to them and that's the way it should be . Highly recommend.

I sold some gold I had since I prefer silver or white gold. I was so happy with the price they gave me!! If I find anything else I wish to part with, I'm going back to them. Plus, I found the cutest opal/silver pendant on a box chain!

I was unsure of what to expect when doing business with a new (new to me) company, but this company was very warm and friendly, making the transaction pleasant and easy!

Do not go to this place. I took my yellow gold wedding ring there to be resized and when I went to pick it up it was rhodium coated. I have no idea why they would do this. The jeweler said he would fix it. I asked what would be lost in the process. He said nothing but when my ring was returned to me it was obviously lighter and thinner. Since I was trusting and did not weigh my ring before hand, I have no way to prove that they removed gold content from my ring.

Zachary was always prompt and helpful with replies to my emails as he assisted me with the details of resetting the diamonds from a pendant into my design for diamond earrings for my daughter as a surprise wedding present. The resulting earrings were stunning and exactly as I had drawn them. In addition, the trade-in credit he provided for old gold jewelry was generous. I highly recommend!

Great experience selling my Rolex ..finally after multiple prior stops elsewhere I was finally offered what I researched my watch to be worth pre-owned to a jeweler and was relieved to not have the sense that I was getting 'worked' .. very pleasant people ..this all happened very quickly, with their offer being the first one strong enough for me to accept and I had a check in hand immediately thereafter. Our experience with Yates has been terrible, would absolutely NOT recommend them. My wife brought her ring into them for a resizing, they used nickel - didn’t tell her, which she is highly allergic to - and now she can’t wear her wedding ring. When my wife asked they could care less - absolutely terrible. Update - It was YOUR store and her name is Jenn Burns, came in around July and had a resizing done - has not been able to wear her ring since that day and no, there was not nickel in it before, as she wore it just fine without her hand breaking out...everything happened after your store worked on it. Looks better if you stop spinning the review and just own it.

Sold a silver tray. Everything went smoothly, people there were very friendly. I received an acceptable price for the tray with a check for the amount. I recommend them highly and will not hesitate to do business with them again.

I went to Yates to cash in a few gold coins and gold bars. Zachary spoke to me on the phone the day before and then waited on me. The entire process was quick and professional. I asked a couple of questions about the transaction, and he answered politely. I was very pleased with the transaction and the amount paid for my gold.

They offer an excellent selection of jewelry to buy, and are very generous with payouts if you are looking to sell your gold, diamonds, silver, Rolex watches, etc. In recent years Ron, Zachary and (today) Cindy have been wonderful to do business with; I have sold them 14kt and 18kt gold jewelry, some with and some without gemstones, and sterling silver flatware. Fantastic Experience!!! My wife and I were looking for the perfect wedding band set and with their selection and help, it was an easy task. The service was second to none, the prices were unbeatable and the overall experience was excellent. Not only were we able to find the perfect wedding rings, we went back to sell a few pieces of scrap gold/silver and had some broken jewelry repaired. Absolutely would recommend!!!

Top Quality and Service! My new fiance surprised me with a beautifully crafted solitaire diamond ring from Arthur Yates & Sons. He told me they offered amazing service as he didn't really know too much about precious stones and ended up making multiple visits. Since then, I've been back a few times - for sizing and a minor adjustment - and they've made me feel very welcome . Easy process of selling silver. However, not much was explained about the way it worked and the lady helping us could have been more kind. She seemed a little put-out when we arrived with items to see about selling. I called ahead and asked if we needed an appointment to make the process flow and to not waste anyone's time. They said no. So I assumed that we would be greeted by someone happy to see us....not so. Don't get me wrong, she was nice, she just seemed put-out. My first impression of this store is that it's nice, the location is fine but the people working there should be (or at least act) excited to see customers when they arrive.

I give Arthur Yates & Son Jewelers a 5 star. They treat customers with respect and try to help there customers. They have a variety of different prices. It goes from high end to reasonable and affordable prices!! There’s something for everyone. I call it my little Gem.

I took quite a few pieces of jewelry to Arthur Yates & Sons Jewelers to sell for cash. Some pieces were scrap gold items and other were items I no longer was interested in wearing. When I arrived (before noon), I was immediately greeted and assisted by Heather who was very professional and friendly. After about 30-45 minutes of examining all the pieces, I was offered $5000. I felt it was a very fair price and did not hesitate to accept it. I want to that Heather and the other associates for making this process easy and comfortable.
