I have been there twice, and both were fantastic experiences. Nice, spacious, and clean rooms. Good range of tv channels. Good internet access as well. Food is fantastic, quickly prepared, and has a wide range of dishes. A couple of beers to choose from. There is a palinka as well. I'll be back for sure.

Location is kid friendly but you have to pay attention because kids can go and fall in the swimming pool.

10 years ago we visited for the first time...we don't miss one year to relax here. The owners are awsome, and so welcoming every time. We saw this growing and improving every year. We feel like home, great food, great people. We highly reccomand.❤

Excellent Romanian guesthouse at Baia de Fier, with the best hospitality and food, cosy environment, plenty of space for big groups, outstanding terrace and surroundings!

Great accommodation, food and very nice people. It's a family business so every food preparate is bio and delicious. The rooms are like in a hotel, so great comfort per price.

The best place we stayed during our vacation. Clean and beautiful rooms, nice people, good food. They're making a pool and sauna now, worth every penny. Too bad Google only allowed me to 5star it.

It's a family friendly place. The hostess is a calm and sweet person. There is a green terrain between the new and the old building were you can play ball. There is a poney, there are two cats (at least), two dogs. And a fountain! It's something special. And the garden surrounding it is well taken care of. Oh, be careful if you are allergic to pollen, in the springtime it can be a problem. There is an apple orchard fully blossomed in this time of the year. The smell is great, the birds are chirping, but my boyfriend sneezed a lot from some fluff/fuzz in the air coming from the nearby forest I think. We stayed in the old bulding on the back. We played backgammon there and ping pong. The rooms are warm, the shower is hot. The doors are a little bit hard to close/open and you can hear voices from other rooms or downstairs if they are strong, but for me it wasn't a problem. The food is good and it comes fast. But here the tastes and opinions are divided. All in all a good place with a great view :D

nice place to stay, close to the mountains, perfect for hikers, not much English speakers but good enough for the basic. Food really good. They are very friendly people
