Food and the service were good, but the menu itself was kind of bland. I didn't feel that anything was "special" and while all the dishes tasted good, I definitely felt like it was not good value for money.

Do not be put off by the fact that this is a kosher restaurant - IT'S FABULOUS! First of all the food is ridiculous. I've had the same dishes (think: butcher's cut and goose leg) in other elite restaurants but this was on another level of taste and quality. Secondly, the service was impeccable. From the manager, who doubled as an expert sommelier, to the waitress, to the chef himself, Yoram Nitzan, each came to check on us and engaged in conversation that was as sparkling as the champagne. There was just the feeling that everyone there really cared that you were having the best possible culinary experience you could have. My only critique is the decor. It's old fashioned and would've loved a sexier ambiance but I'm assuming that that's the hotel. Don't think twice though, go!

We were looking for a kosher restaurant as we were in the Tel Aviv area. We came across nomi and decide to give it a go. The bread was very standard with some much pesto dish and the stad art olive oil with balsamic vinegar. The food was yummy but avarage. We had the scolpos which was quite surprising but the sashimi was not fresh. It seems to have been taken out from a plastic wrap as the slices stuck together. The purple crackers didn’t seem fresh but rather old and not crispy like I expected it to be. Then we had the steak and the goose, again is was yummy but nothing special. The service was good. The cocktails from the bar were horrible. They were just low grade pool cocktails but charged way too much for them. . We didn’t have more then one and we could have done without. When we wanted to order dessert we were told that the wait was 30 min. Not because they restaurant was full but because of some malfunction in the kitchen, because the restaurant wasn’t full. My husband gave the food two stars while I gave it a generous 4 but perhaps it should be a three because expected so much more. It ended up being very expensive but didn’t really deliver for the price it charged. I think it’s very hard to compete with the kosher restaurants in Jerusalem and kosher restaurants in Tel Aviv have still a lot to learn.

An amazing place! A perfect combination of quality, location and ambiance. A gateway from the city hassle, which takes you for a moment back to the best culinary experience of your life. We managed to taste israel at its best!

👍 It’s been a few years since my last visit and the place grew a lot and is now a huge restaurant right on the port of Jaffa. The design is very impressive too. We arrived just before 1pm and had plenty of room, despite the fact that we did not have an order. Right after we sat down, the staff brought...
