I
recently
had
the
pleasure
of
visiting
Tirza
Wine
Bar,
situated
where
the
iconic
"Ha-Khalutzim
3"
restaurant
once
stood
in
Tel
Aviv,
and
I
can't
rave
enough
about
this
exceptional
establishment.
The
focus
here
is
on
wine,
offering
a
diverse
selection
available
by
the
glass
or
bottle,
but
the
culinary
experience
is
not
to
be
overlooked.
The
minimalist,
seasonal,
locally-inspired
menu,
designed
by
the
talented
Chef
Ilay
Dekel,
highlights
the
thoughtfulness
of
the
relationship
between
food
and
wine.
The
atmosphere
at
Tirza
strikes
a
perfect
balance
between
formal
and
casual,
with
the
right
volume
of
music
and
lighting
to
create
an
inviting
ambiance.
Though
it
can
be
a
bit
crowded,
the
space
remains
enjoyable
and
pleasant
to
sit
in.
The
staff
at
Tirza
Wine
Bar
truly
sets
the
establishment
apart.
Their
super
friendly
and
knowledgeable
approach
enhances
the
overall
experience.
The
sommelier,
Aviv
Hagag,
and
bar
manager,
Nave
Weiss,
work
closely
with
guests
to
select
the
perfect
wine
based
on
individual
preferences,
ensuring
a
memorable
and
personalized
tasting
journey.
Under
the
creative
lead
of
Chef
Ilay
Dekel,
the
menu
at
Tirza
Wine
Bar
features
an
array
of
innovative
and
experimental
dishes.
Chef
Dekel's
passion
for
inventive
culinary
ideas
shines
through
in
every
dish,
making
it
a
truly
unforgettable
dining
experience.
I
highly
recommend
trying
the
beef
fat
bruschetta
or
any
of
the
other
bruschetta
options,
as
well
as
any
of
the
grill-cooked
dishes
which
often
feature
sweet
fruits
balanced
with
non-dessert
flavors.
The
sourdough
and
pickled/fermented
snacks
are
also
not
to
be
missed.
Trust
me,
it's
hard
to
go
wrong
with
any
of
the
dishes
here.
Tirza
Wine
Bar
offers
some
unique
features
that
are
worth
noting,
such
as
complimentary
bottles
of
water
or
sparkling
water
and
an
inclusive
tipping
policy.
Reservations
are
available
on
Fridays
and
on
Monday-Thursday
before
17:00-18:00,
but
seating
after
these
times
is
based
on
availability.
The
OCD
group,
led
by
the
renowned
Chef
Raz
Rahav,
along
with
his
partners
Idan
Blumental
and
Erez
Zuares,
is
known
for
their
"Afui"
bakery
and
"OCD"
restaurant,
promoting
important
values
like
zero
waste
and
locality.
Their
investment
in
research
and
development
is
evident
throughout
the
dining
experience
at
Tirza.
Tirza
Wine
Bar
in
Tel
Aviv
is
an
absolute
must-visit
for
any
wine
enthusiast
or
foodie.
The
combination
of
superb
wines,
brilliantly
crafted
dishes,
and
exceptional
service
make
it
an
unforgettable
experience.
Don't
miss
out
on
this
gem
:)
