We had a delicious lunch! I was overwhelmed by the options as a vegetarian who is usually limited to a few rolls at normal sushi places. The Thai noodle salad was delicious and colorful, and the egg rolls were the best I’ve ever had. The sushi was creative and had interesting flavors. If you’re looking for a simple avocado roll this is not the place. Overall great presentation and I would recommend!

Absolutely the BEST sushi I’ve ever had. The inventive and new thinking of how sushi also can be served was so tasty and fantastic to view. Highly recommended!!

This vegan restaurant moved to this location in January 2022. It has a dining room (in two sections) and an outdoor patio on a very busy road. The service is very friendly and attentive and the quality is very high. They paid a lot of attention to the small details. For example, the wallpaper in tge washrooms has the testaurant's theme, the clipboards of the menu do tge same (see photos). In all, great branding! The vegan menu is very extensive and offers a wealth of options. We chose the "Japan, Japan" combo that has 5 different sushi choices and sells for I.S 152. Certainly a meal for 2. Washrooms are at tge basement level and are not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Holy S#&@!!!! Best experience so far. Every item is vegetarian and delicious. The service was excellent. Have a view to the street and also the kitchen. Recommend the miso soup as it's a giant bowl. Thai salad was a banger. The Pistachio roll was on another level. Please add this into the rotation and enjoy. A gem.

First time at The Green Roll. Wonderful experience! All dishes are simply delicious 😋 Service is great and very efficient! Dishes arrived very quickly. Great atmosphere with great music. I’m not vegan but nonetheless enjoyed deeply every single dish. Highly recommended!

Best vegan restaurant I've in Tel-Aviv so far. Had dinner with a couple of friends. It was absolutely delicious. Food took a long while to be prepared. But service was good, and we were asked many times if we wanted something more. Tried 3 kinds of sushi rolls, Mushroom IO (Avocado, Shitaki, Tofu, and roasted Peanuts) , I/O Shinjo roll (Avocado, Asparagus, Cucumber), and I/O Sakura roll (Beetroot, Cashew Cheese, Kohlrabi, Oshinko (pickled Japanese Radish)). All were great! We tried 3 desserts, the Sushi Tofi, Cheesecake, and Roshe Ball (Chocolate). THE Sushi Tofi won them all by far! Highly recommended. Would definitely come back!

We had a late business lunch for a couple. This vegan sushi place surprisingly served a really good food. The business lunch we took included first dishes- orange soup and egg rolls, and special sushi rolls as main dishes (59nis each). The food was very good ,fresh and tasty. But the amount was not satisfactory and we took another business lunch later. Bottom line-very recommended even if you are not a vegan.

What an experience!!! First of all, I'm not vegan and I ate here while pregnant. As a meat and fish lover I was excited to try this place and their famous sushi. I was not disappointed at all. We tried a tofu and sweet potato bun, they were fantastic, crispy with this delicious dip. The Green Roll and Pistachio specials were absolutely amazing, very good flavors. I forgot it's actually all vegan and I could eat completely freely whatever I wanted. Our waitress was super sweet, always made good recommendations. Oh... I was never into sweet sushi, but try their toffee banana one (it's actually 8 big pieces and very creamy, fulfilling, so leave some spot for it) it is crazy good! Table reservation is a must❗People were lining up (dinner time on a weekend, after 7pm) outside and were waiting for a free seat.

Fantastic vegan sushi! Great service. Clean and tidy. A friend of mine treated me to a birthday dinner - and this was the perfect gift for me. We shared the dim sum platter and a roll of Cartagena sushi - both were excellent! The kimchi was real good. The sweet dessert sushi is delicious! The staff is very friendly and courteous. The restaurant is kept neat and tidy. The one bathroom is spotless and smells good. Too bad you have to use the stairs to get to the bathroom, though. They should get another bathroom with easy access for every customer. All in all - wonderful experience.

Sushi was very simple, definitely not wow. We had a platter recommended by the waitress, maybe other rolls are better. Staff were nice enough. Cocktails were a bit watery. Best thing was the salad.

If you’re vegan in Tel Aviv, run, don’t walk to this place. We were looking for a vegan spot near Shuk Carmel and decided to give this a try. First, the service was AMAZING. It was our first time there and we weren’t sure what to order and our waiter had fantastic recommendations. Everything he suggested was delicious. We had the Red Dragon roll, the Kalamata roll, the dim sum, kimchi, and ice cream. All the rolls were so beautiful and unique - the combinations of flavors were delicious. They’re not afraid to experiment with things like nuts, peanut butter, coconut milk, tofu, herbs, and spices and the rolls are a reflection of that. We’ve never had sushi like that before. I’m a meat eater and the dim sum honestly tasted like real meat to me! And the ice cream was unbelievable. It was pistachio and had an amazing nutty, savory flavor with a mild sweetness. I occasionally eat dairy ice cream and this was even better. The sushi presentation was very impressive as well - it’s clear that they put a lot of thought into not only the flavors but also the look. We don’t live in Israel but we’ll be back to this restaurant FOR SURE! Do yourself a favor and go there - you won’t be disappointed!

Finally a perfect sushi place! Too bad it's so far away from me 😔 Everything we've ordered was amazing! It is the only vegan sushi restaurant I've truly enjoyed dinning at since turning vegan 3 years ago. I've tried sushi in expensive restaurants in San Francisco and L.A and was disappointed so imagine how surprised I was finding this place. I hope to eat there again on my next visit to Israel

At The Green Roll you can get regular sushi but also very fancy special rolls - all vegan obviously! We shared three of their special rolls (one with sweet potato and peanuts, one with avocado and various other greens and one with marinated tofu on top) recommend by the waitress. It was enough for us two since we had a late lunch this day, but if you are really hungry make sure to order more rolls! The sushi was really tasty and I have seldomly seen a more stylish platter of sushi! 100% can recommend :)

Got a seat fast, service was great and the selection was big. The food was tasted amazing and really the flavor combination they have there, and how it had a variety that wasn't just based on tofu or frid

Wow!!! I can't believe the sushi is vegan, it was one of the best meals, fresh salad, best sushi, and tofu, and the desert chocolate sushi roll was crazy! Really recommend! It

One of the best sushi I've had in Israel! Unfortunately there are not many gluten-free items, however the staff are very familiar with the options and super professional.

The place is designed with taste. Clean and neat. What we took was nice, tasty and beautifully served. The waitress forgot 2 of our dishes and also said she felt bad about me having little choice from their menu (that are hot and non gluten) so she gave us 2 dishes on the house.

A good vegan sushi place. It is a very very small joint with limited table space. Around four tables. The people are really nice and hospitable. The food is very delicious and tasty. Being a vegan place it is heaven for vegetarians. The sushi other other dishes are really nice. Though a tiny and intimate place it is a must try. And definitely recommended place.

A few tables (for two) inside, one long table (for 6-8 people) outside. All food is vegeterian-vegan. We liked the place.

Rush there! Ate there for my birthday lunch and it was amazing. I tried tons of vegan sushis in Israel and abroad and those ones are high quality. All the ingredients are extra fresh and the plates design is just wonderful. We were two, we ordered avocado maki, two different kind of special sushi and both of the buns. Everything was great. My boyfriend is not vegan and doesn't like sushi but he loved the place and enjoyed his two buns.

Very good vegan sushi. The rolls are special and you got big variety of tastes. The prices are a bit to high for vegan sushi but the quality is satisfying.

Ate the "Japan Japan" combination. The sushi was great and I had a good experience. The main taste is of avocado and sweet potatoes, they blend together very well. I removed a star because one of the sushi rolls is made just of cucumbers and carrots which to me tasted dull.

Amazing place. Its 100% vegan and the food there is really amazing. Each and every ingridiant are very high quality. better taste& try and decide by yourself. I love the agadashi and the inari and all the shushi rolls are amazing

  • 5/5 Maya B. 2 years ago on Google
A large variety of sushi rolls and the flavors work together very well in each roll. They clearly invest in each of their rolls and it was so worth it. Doesn’t make you miss the fish at all and so much better than trying to find veggie rolls at a non-vegan sushi place. Will definitely be coming back!

👍 It’s been a few years since my last visit and the place grew a lot and is now a huge restaurant right on the port of Jaffa. The design is very impressive too. We arrived just before 1pm and had plenty of room, despite the fact that we did not have an order. Right after we sat down, the staff brought...
