Arik took us on a one day private tour of Jerusalem. If youā€™re a history buff, then Arik is your man. Super knowledgeable and able to provide context and detail around the history and development of Jerusalem from ancient to modern times including its links to key religious and historical events. Also up for a good debate on modern politics and current affairs. Worth every Shekel!

We hired Arik for a private tour of the north of Israel for 2 days. He planned a schedule that was amazing and gave us options along the way to change plans as he got to know us and what we were more interested in. His knowledge of Israelā€™s history and landscape is quite impressive. After his portion of the tour was done, he arranged a private jeep tour of the lower Galilee region which was also fascinating. We would never have seen the parts of Israel we saw with him on our own at an enjoyable pace. Highly recommended!

Could not recommend highly enough.

Our big Family (a group of 17 pax) went to an 8 day tour to Jerusalem-Tel Aviv-Sea of Galilee. Arik gave us memories that will last for a lifetime !Our trip was reasonably priced, and on the day of our Arrival, He even tried to call us to ensure that everything is going well. Our tour was arranged in a way that no time has been wasted. Arik assigned a 24 seater bus even if we can fit in an 18 seater for us to move more comfortably. Everyone had an excellent time, will surely go back to Him for our next trip !

I spent months researching travel in Israel and creating an itinerary for my family to visit this extraordinary and historical part of the world for more than two weeks. I soon realized that because the entire country is so steeped in political, biblical, religious, and world history, it would be impossible to see and understand it in a meaningful way without input from an expert local guideā€”and I set out to search the internet, travel guides, and travel magazines for the best private tour guide in Israel. After many hours of research, I decided to contact Arik from Arik Private Tours in Israel. Hiring Arik to drive us all over the countryā€”from north to south and east to westā€”and show and tell us about the extraordinary geography and history of Israelā€”turned out to be a great decision. Arik picked us up every morning and was in a good mood as we set out to explore another part of Israel. Arik is exceptionally knowledgeable about religious history and the history of Israel and the middle east. But what makes Arik a great tour guide is that he is also very personable, fun, authentic, and wittyā€”and he embodies the local Israeli culture. Through our interactions with Arik over the course of almost two weeksā€”and watching Arik interact with local Jewish and Muslim peopleā€”we gained real insight into the local culture and gained a special understanding of life in Israel. Now, long after our time with Arik in Israel, we still fondly remember him and quote some of his one-liners. If you are looking for a private tour guide in Israel who will do more than drive you from site to site and recite some of the historical significance of each location, you should stop looking and contact Arik. You'll be glad you did and the memories you make with Arik will last a lifetime.

Eric is worth every penny !! We wanted to surprise relatives who came from America for a few weeks on holiday and we made contact with him via the Internet. After an initial email which we introduced the general background for the trip we wanted . Eric in less than two hours made contacted by phone and from there He planned the tour in detail. Everything was meticulously planned. Eric arrived on time every day. His vehicle was always clean and washed. Eric recommended us where to stay simply first-class. Eric was able to completely leave a good impression and after a week we talked about the time we spent with him. Eric has all what it takes to be a great guide He adjusts himself to His customers and His flexibility is a feature that left a great impression on us.

I would highly recommend Arik for a private tour in Israel. Arik is very responsive to requests and usually answered the same day that I emailed Him. He was also very organized in sending email reminders the day before the tour starts Arik was our guide for the Jerusalem tour. Jerusalem was very crowded (it was a weekend) and Arik was able to guide us away from crowded streets when walking from one site to another. He had so much knowledge of Israel, art, and history. He had a great sense of humor and got to know all of us as we spent over six hours with Him. He also showed us the best places for coffee, and shopping as we were walking with Him. it is so worth spending the extra money for a private tour, especially when Jerusalem is very crowded.

We have visited Israel a few times and have experienced different tours but we both agree that having Arik on this occasion absolutely made our trip exceptional. His knowledge and expertise we found second to none. We would certainly contact Arik on our next trip to Israel and would have no hesitation in recommending him to our family and friends.

Last month I had Arik as my private tour guide in Israel: we basically covered the entire country! Five unforgettable days that I will cherish. As a faithful Christian it meant the world for me visiting the holy land and with Arik's help it was better then expected!

Taking a tour with Arik was a remarkable experience. It's such a learning experience that we had to take another tour to get a better understanding about the city of Jerusalem

We just returned from a wonderful week in Israel, having Arik as our guide for 4 days. Arik is a wonderful and kind hearted person who made the absolute most of our 4 days. He drove us all over Israel in his trusty "chariot" (the Duster). If we had been on our own, we not have seen even half of what we saw, and would have learned only a fraction of what we learned from Arik. Arik is a veritable encyclopedia of information about Israel and its long and rich history. This was our first trip to Israel and had little idea of what places we should go, other than Jerusalem, Masada, and the Dead Sea. Arik made sure we visited those places, as well as bringing us to places like Ceaserea, Tel Megiddo (Armageddon), the Jordan River where John baptized Christ, the Golan Heights, as well as a drive through the West Bank.
