I hardly ever take the time to review anything. But the rudeness of the old man that works here warrants my time to give them the review they deserve. I paid for a two hour rental upfront by credit card. I came back to return the surfboard after an hour and 40 minutes and all the old guy barked on return was “50 shekels” loudly. I was taken aback by the gruffness and replied that it hadn’t been two hours yet, I paid for two hours already. He continued to aggressively repeat “50 more shekels” with no other explanation. I now, a little confused at the stonewalled repeat, adamantly insisted I had paid for two hours and made him look up the credit card charge in the computer. Also worth noting, this place has zero affiliation with Hilton, I checked right after this interaction. The people at the next beach over are super nice. I’d go there. When I wouldn’t back down and pay more, this guy claimed the girl that works there wrote down the wrong price I paid on a piece of paper, but it’s very clear they have a computer system and it’s unnecessary to start so aggressively on any human interaction, let alone a simple thing like returning a surfboard. As far as the equipment goes, it’s a foam surfboard and it floated. So I guess they have that going for them - but that’s about it. I wouldn’t rent here again and risk getting hassled for more money on return.

Bought a 20 session card, experienced constant difficulty. One day they would let us use the lockers and facilities, another they would treat us like newcomers and limit what we had access too. Unclear chain of command, employees constantly sitting around but nobody is able to help (except for Shai- Shai is a bro). Clearly a touristy side hustle of Hilton/Hilton bay, not their prioritized business. There are far better options for rentals and memberships. Try out Surf Station near Jaffa- much better surfing beach and always better treatment from the staff.
