Very good museum, located in the middle of Holon. took us about 20 minutes from Tel Aviv. we came to see the exhibition of "Alber Elbaz". behind the museum you have a lot of free parking so you don't need to worry about this issue. the exhibition was very interesting and beautiful, there are 3 levels. -1 level was about his journey with some designs of him and some stories. 0 level is a circular narrow path which explain all his life with info and photos on the walls. 1 level is the main exhibition which shows designs for many design brands . the ticket price not high at all and fits to everyone. Very recommended!

This museum is very small, won't take you more than an hour to cover it all, but it's a great hour👍. Cool exhibits, very clever and super chic. For all design lover.

Always a great place to visit. The museum is small and has unique exhibitions that change several times throughout the year.

The museum is smaller than I expected. The exhibition dedicated to food was interesting and original. The objection goes to the lack of an audio guide in English.

Must visit when you in Israel!

The building looks great except that it’s far from city center and going there takes time during rush hours so be prepared. We came too late because of traffic jams so had no time to view exibitions.

Who knew that an exhibition can pull you in so much when you're not even interested in the subject? (This time, fashion design). Worth a visit!

Wow, this was such a surprising visit. The museum has only ONE exhibition with no permanent exhibition. The one of Alber Elbaz was just wonderful. Amazing and sensitive curation by the curator, with connection to Holon, with very beautifully arranged pieces, with very well explained texts, without being pretentious (so many curators tend to be such, and make themselves sound sophisticated). Understanding that Elbaz is the star, not the curator. This museum is a reason to visit Holon and even a reason to visit Israel. It was perfect.

A compact museum with temporary exhibitions focusing on fashion and design. Our visit to the museum coincided with a tribute to Alber Elbaz, who worked for many of the world's biggest couture houses, including YSL and Lanvin, in addition to his own brand. It took about two hours for us to explore his story and all the gorgeous designs. This is our third visit to this museum, and we will definitely return.

Those are intricate dresses which I’m sure would be extremely impressive on a runway. But thrown on some mannequins and crammed in a couple of rooms they look dead. The man may be an incredible designer, but he certainly didn’t design this museum.

The exhibition of the famous designer Alber Elbaz is amazing in that it conveys the energy, love and atmosphere of a person who created amazingly beautiful and tasteful designer things. The exhibition itself is thought out to the smallest detail, every small detail is matched perfectly, music, light, colors and location, who created it put all the love and ability to create zest. I liked it very much.

Very impressive exhibit (Alber Elbaz). Entrance of visitors each hour is controlled when buying tickets. This eliminates crowds in the museum and makes for a great experience. Ample parking. Mostly free.

The best museum in Israel, depending on the exhibition, it’s an incredible place see design in all it’s glory. Starting sep. 2022 you can catch the ‘Alber Elbaz’ exhibition, curated by the marvelous Yaara Keydar. Elbaz passed away from covid recently and this exhibition tells it’s beautiful story, starting from his childhood in Holon and all the way up the fashion industry ladder to a leader of a few elite fashion brands.

This is a fantastic museum. The building is an incredible piece of art on its own, designed by Ron Arad. The exhibit we went to see was about food and it was really well done and enjoyable. This is a great museum for anyone.

We weren't familiar with this museum and we had a great time. The displays change so check ahead that the topic interests you. The quality was very high. It is accessible and there is parking. The entrance price is also reasonable.

I visited Design Museum Holon twice, each time the museum was showcasing a different exhibition. Exhibitions take up the entire museum, so you need to allow yourself at least an hour to see everything spread across two floors and connecting corridors. It’s a fantastic building, worth a visit just to appreciate Ron Arad’s clever design. All that it seems to be missing is a permanent exhibition of Israeli design; I’d definitely like to see that.

We're going to this museum at least three times a year, the exhibitions are changing. This exhibition about food and design is very nice and unique. The architecture of the building is Ron Arad. One of the nicest museums in the world.

Very interesting museum but far from the center of Tel Aviv and not so big (you will make the visit in one hour and a half)... there s a nice library beside, new area of Holon...I recommend it!

Great museum & beautiful contemporary architecture. The museum's exhibitions change on a regular basis, so even if you've been here before, you'll probably enjoy your second visit and discover new works of art. The building itself is reason enough to come here for a visit. Holon is only a short bus ride from TLV center and offers some more interesting museums, for example the Museum of Caricature and Comics or the Children's Museum.

We saw "The Ball" gown exhibition, inspired by over 100 years of dress fashion, which was lovely. Each dress is handmade and tells its own story. You can connect your phones to the museum website and listen to an audio tour with your earphones. The museum should improve the network/wifi connectivity for that matter, though.

The museum is housed in a very unusual building and I would recommend visiting just to see the building. Exhibitions vary, when we went the theme was Sound, which isn't up my alley but I'm sure that for those so inclined it would be a wonderful experience. I suggest checking online beforehand to see which exhibition is on.

Beautiful little museum. Big enough to host at least one exhibition that will tickle your interest and still be manageable without the dreadful "museum fatigue". A nice coffee shop would be appreciated but there is one around the corner. Worth a visit everytime.

Small but well organized museum. Most displays are part of temporary exhibitions, the two we saw were fantastic. The building itself is interesting and the staff is very helpful and passionate about the museum. What we saw, the Barzilai-Hollander collection, was not strictly design but more in the intersection between art and design, as there was no pragmatic usefulness to any of the exhibits. It was fantastic nonetheless! Plenty of free parking in several nearby lots.
