Nice place gives the feeling of mystery, hidden in bushes and trees, very nice. Excellent mushrooms Very well chopped liver, less comfortable that it comes in the jar. Reasonable salted fish A bit disappointing chips that are not home made Creme brulee, was buttery and not airy Excellent lemon pie Very special atmosphere of the place Excellent service and very courteous. Reasonable prices

We arrived around 8pm and there was a wedding in the main hall so they gave us a seat at the side hall. Most of the waiters work at the main hall and our service was slow. The Soups and first dishes were good, the lamp and steak were mediocre.

Russian food with mainstream add ons like Italian pasta. The Russian food is good but not as great as in Russia. Medovik is lacking the honey flavor which is the whole purpose of the desert. The service is good

We came in a very large group, some where visiting from abroad, at the time we were about to sit we found out that we were off in our counting and had 4 people more then planed (total of 27 people) The restaurant team took it very nice, moved some tables and chairs and help to accommodate all the extra people, we all enjoyed very much, the food was good and the service took good care of us.

Super nice place right next to the beach The restaurant has a very cozy European atmosphere Service was professional The food was excellent! Shrimp dish was very flavorful - I recommend ordering the bread and dip it in the sauce Salmon was tasty, the small potato pie was on point! Borscht soup was well balanced and had great flavor - you can feel it was cooked for a long time Same with the beef stew - so rich, just delicious Pilmani was so soft - like eating a meat cloud I think I found my new favorite place near the beach!

The food was really good and we had a lot of fun! We went for an evening of wine tasting and entertainment. Service was excellent and the variety of dishes were not only delicious but inventive and flavorful. We left full, satisfied, and with smiles on our faces

After a long long period of time we've been to a place that knows true hospitality. The service, the quality of the food, the quantity, all can be A listed, for a very reasonable price which is very unlikely to this region. I aready came back 2nd day in a row and hopefully on and on.

Good service and the dishes are well served. Food in general is ok, but not more. Both grill dishes - filet mignon and fish, tastes of oil. Main course supposed to be served for both diners at the same time and not with 10 min difference.. Slightly overpriced.

What an awesome experience! We came in to celebrate a long-awaited birthday, the place was calm and pleasant and even though it was pretty empty, there were many waiters, each of them was super polite and hospitable. They treated us with wine, soda and (how not) vodka, the Pilmeni was great, the lemon pie was delicious (as shown on the photo) and the service was superb. Will definitely revisit!

Great atmosphere at the heart of Tel Aviv. Home cocktail tasteful and refreshing, shrimps with blue cheese is great, borscht soup very rich, roast beef with vegetables is also great dish. Carpaccio very fresh and yammy, Lemon pie was sweet sour as it should, the white chocolate apple desert is wonderful. The place not so cheap but worth it. You’ll not be disappointed.

The restaurant keeps getting better through the years. The food is pretty good, the vibe is great and the service quality level is very high. One issue for improvement though: When making a reservation by phone, please indicate that you intend to seat the guests outside, especially in mid-January, in order for the guests to dress accordingly, at the least.

Great food, great atmosphere. The garden and the vibe is fantastic. Prices are very high, much higher than average so it's more 'special' type of place (dinner for 3, which consisted mainly of appetizers (only 1 main course) plus dessert was almost 600 shekels. Was it good - yes. Was it worth the price - thats iffy.

Excellent food. The pelmeni was delicious as was the stroganoff and steak. Loved the outdoor seating (very COVID safe). Will come again soon!

No wait. Incredible food. Lovely server. Elegant and peaceful atmosphere. A wide selection of options to choose from. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We sat outside but the indoor seating is lovely too. It's on a busy road but you wouldn't know it sitting in their courtyard.

I found my way here after walking around the beach in Tel Aviv. I sat outside and ate with my friend. The patio is really nice. Atmosphere actually reminds me of dining in Big Sur, Pebble Beach, or Carmel by sea, California. The major bonus of this restaurant is being able to try various Israeli wines which everything I tried was very good. My favorite was probably the Sauvignon Blanc. Although I ordered a beef dish, my favorite was the eggplant with roasted garlic and tomatoes. The tomatoes were so fresh! Service was also attentive. Thanks!

This place, OMG, just wow! Delicious food, professional staff, luxurious "casual" atmosphere. The music playing ever wo subtle in the background, it felt like even the weather was designed to compliment the sitting. Highly recommended for those who like (or want to try) authentic Slavic cuisine.

This restaurant is well located close to the centre of Tel Aviv and adjacent to the beachfront. It is beautifully decorated with outdoor and indoor seating. The service is high quality and the staff are very attentive. The menu theme is Eastern European/Russian but there are dishes to suit all dietary preferences. I did find that it was quite expensive at about ₪320 for two courses of food (starter and main course for one person) with just one cocktail. This seems like a high price even in relation to other comparable restaurants in the city centre. However apart from the slightly inflated price I had a great experience.

    1. Expectations didn't met the real opinion. 2. No connection between the name, meaning and actual. 3. Feeling like you alone even when your best friends with you in this place. 4. Food, average. 5. Drinks, near average and even worst. 6. Expensive. Service from local girl was above average, no complaints.

Very good food, nice athmoshpere! You can try a lot of specific soups and starters! The Bortsch and the Pasta are the best! The local fits also for private parties. If you have luck, and it a not raining, you can stay on the terrace! #restaurant #russian #goodfood

Thank you for our wonderful dinner with our two kids although it was packed and we had no reservation! The food and drinks were exceptional! Will definitely come back!

Highly recommend this restaurant. The dishes were amazing with very well balanced flavors (especially the dessert, chef’s special chocolate cake). The waitress was polite, helpful and explained everything about dishes and drinks. We enjoyed our dinner!

Incredible food at a reasonable price. There were 12 of us who ate here and we ordered family style dinner. We ordered roughly 20+ dishes and 12 different drinks in total and paid only $66 per person.

Thank you for a delicious celebration dinner. Vera (our server) was professional and informative with her superb recommendations. The cherry- gin chaser before we left completed the meal. The service and food are the reasons we will definitely be back.

Very slow service from the start, even before seating, expensive and unprofessional service, unfortunately all the food received was not very tasty, especially for the price you pay. The location is good though, close to the beach, the place itself is very old school or just plain old, not any type of special experience in my opinion.

Food came super quick and everything was delicious. Had ordered it at home and also been positively surprised. Not one thing to complain about, I love Baba Yaga.

The concierge at our hotel recommended the restaurant and made us a reservation. We sat outside in a beautiful space and had a fantastic meal. I highly recommended.

Amazing food, we had pasta, one vegetarian and one with beef, the mix of spices and beef cooked to perfection, just melted in our mouth, one of the best places we been to so far in Tel Aviv

Very homey, has a live jazz band to add to the mood. The waiters are nice and polite and all speak russian. The main courses are fresh and tasty, but my souffle felt re-warmed and the ice cream felt re-frozen. Prices are a bit high. Recommend for people who want an authentic Slavic experience. As for Slavs, stay home and make your own pilmeni :)
