Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center - Ichilov

University hospital

😠 I’ve never felt so horrible and mistreated in my life than here. Which is sad since it’s an emergency hospital. At 1:00am when people are waiting to be treated they are having personal conversations, there was a bloody needle top on the chair where they sat me down to draw my blood, and when I asked... People often mention hospital, hours, staff, time, doctor,

I’ve never felt so horrible and mistreated in my life than here. Which is sad since it’s an emergency hospital. At 1:00am when people are waiting to be treated they are having personal conversations, there was a bloody needle top on the chair where they sat me down to draw my blood, and when I asked someone a question about my blood test the nurse told me she would call security if I interrupted their conversation again.

Horrific hospital ! Avoid at all costs! The hallways are dirty, the staff and equipment are straight fro the 1960s and you will spend upwards of 12 hours for any Simple checks. The level of medicine in Israel is simply dismal, how can such a rich country have appalling healthcare is beyond me . Very sad

Service was good and fast. All digitalised and modern. Put 4 stars and not 5 because they made me do x-ray , but I said that I have pain in the muscle after weight lifting (X-ray does not show soft tissue damage)

I am from Bulgaria, so I was very impressed with the emergency room - everything is super well organized, the place is clean, the hygiene level is top. The staff was helpful and kind.

Been to this ER around 5 times. First time was a bad experience (height of COVID - understaffed), but in the last 2 years Ichilov has improved a lot. The last 3 doctors who treated me were excellent, very grateful to them.

Depends what department you go to the Infectious Disease Department is fantastic the Doctors super nice and pros. The Gastro Department (Liver etc) Are terrible, the receptionists are mean spirited witches and your appointments keep getting postponed without apparent reason. I have been waiting 4 months now and was already pushed forward 4 times. (By phone)

Terrible ER service for the Israelis. Worse, stone aged service ever, something straight up out of 3rd world countries nightmares. 5+ hours to see an ER doctor (my second time unfortunately here and both times like this) and twice as much to get the ultrasound or a cast. I’d imagine something like this in Nigeria, but not in a technically savvy country, which prides itself on allegedly good medicine (that’s if you survive to ever get to the medicine). Horrible mess, terrible operational set-up, hugely understaffed, dirty and overall don’t care about the clients. Ultra sound or a cast are basic medics necessities and there is absolutely no reason to keep somebody in the hospital for 10+ hours to get it done. I know 2 cases already how somebody went into to Ichilov and sue to the cramped, overcrowded conditions came back with Corona from jt.

TERRIBLE!!! I came here with my health insurance because I am a tourist and I found a skin infection on my face. It started well and quickly (they visited me, made me do blood test) and then I had to wait 2 hours for a doctor visit. He asked me 3 questions and told me he would call the dermatologist. I waited other 3 hours and the dermatologist came, he visited me and told me he would go check my blood test for the diagnosis AND HE NEVER CAME BACK!!!! I am still here in the hospital after 3 hours from the dermatologist visit. And whenever O ask a nurse or a doctor what is happening they do not reply and are super rude!!!! They have ABSOLUTELY 0 CARE FOR THEIR patients!!!!!! And I am sure the dermatologist forgot about me and will never come back and no one wants to call him. I have been here since 19 and i am still here at 2 and counting!!!! Will surely go to a private doctor next time! SHAME ON YOU!! + I am freezing because AC is at 15ºC!!!

Possibly the worst hospital in the region, certainly the worst in Israel. Rude staff, poor diagnoses, even a simple x ray must be redone. Staff are overworked but I doubt they would have a bedside manner even if there was only one patient! Minimum six hours waiting time. You will leave dehydrated and sleep-deprived with an incorrect diagnosis, no prescription, and who knows what else. No soap in the bathrooms, the place is crawling with dirt. Covid patients are not separated from other patients in the emergency room. Inpatient treatment is not much better than the miyoun.

It's pretty common here to, say, wait for 7-8 hours on the constant promises of a test, only to find out that the order got lost along the way and you're not even on the list. It's the hospital version of hell.

Got treated in 3h at the ER for a small accident. Was promised by the doctor and nurses that an English translation would be given for my doctor's memo to process insurance claims but they kept referring me to another department and sent my friend and I round in circles. On the 3rd day when I went back, the lady at the info centre told me to wait while she contacted someone to do the English translation. I waited for an hour and checked with her again, only to find out that she had not heard from that translator and thinks she might not be around. What a colossal waste of time. The staff didn't seem very helpful.

I had a Tilt Test. All went on very well and efficiently. The reception process was very fast and efficient. My test started 10 minutes ahead of schedule. The doctor who performed it was very experienced and professional.

3 stars because of the wait. I expected it going in but after being here for 7 hours it won't get 4 stars. Other than that, the staff and doctors are very friendly and helpful

Ihilov Eyes Care hospitalization department. I got personal treatment from Doctors,Sisters and other staff. Very Good level - Workers,Rooms,Food. Doctors have too many patients-very hard working-it infuence on waiting time. Only small part of medical results are moved to BeWell Aplication. Reshumot docs managment(old method-old discs must be preordered with no delivery option(10days) instead of sending mail with zipped images)! Thanks a Lot for a Great Treatment to All the Team!!!

had to go under an operation and everything was smooth, explained thoroughly and with patience! also before and after surgery I had to visit a few times to do more checks or to adjust my cast and was got taken care of very well. thanks! block anaesthetics on my arm was very interesting too. for pre operation it’s really good to get that extra layer of numbness- highly recommend! you don’t feel or remember a thing! (To whoever is afraid of operations)
