âYou
are
not
lostâ
is
the
quintessential
statement
that
greets
you
when
you
find
the
aptly
named
Wanderlust
District.
Hugo
and
Claudia
have
cultivated
a
welcoming,
no-nonsense
culture
in
this
hidden,
aesthetic,
and
practical
space.
Short
term
availability
is
limited
because
this
hostel
is
so
popular,
so
make
sure
to
book
in
advance,
and
be
generous
with
yourself
for
this
stay.
If
youâre
a
solo
female
traveller,
there
are
female-only
dorms
for
your
comfort,
although
the
camaraderie
among
the
guests
of
my
cohort
had
me
feeling
safe
and
comfortable
my
first
time
in
Mexico
City.
The
blankets
are
a
little
thin,
and
the
space
around
the
frame
of
the
beds
lets
light
in
if
others
are
still
up.
Like
any
hostel,
of
course
youâll
hear
snoring
and
rustling
of
people
shifting
around
in
their
sleep,
and
there
were
a
few
guests
who
had
alarms
set
very
early
because
people
often
wake
up
to
get
to
Teotihuican
in
time
to
catch
a
hot
air
balloon
by
6.
Once
the
early
risers
are
gone,
you
can
snooze
a
while
longer
and
still
have
time
to
get
up
and
shower
before
the
artisanal
breakfast
cooked
and
served
by
Hugo
and
Claudia
themselves
at
9:30.
Every
day
thereâs
at
least
one
activity
everyone
is
welcome
to
join
for,
and
if
you
prefer
something
else
youâll
likely
get
interest
from
other
guests
for
whatever
youâre
up
to
if
youâd
like
a
group
to
hang
out
with.
Sundays
when
there
are
streets
closed
to
cars
for
cyclists
to
use,
Claudia
guides
an
hour
long
bike
tour
around
the
city
on
bikes
that
are
free
to
rent
for
the
first
hour
and
a
half
with
an
ID.
If
you
ever
want
recommendations
for
any
kind
of
activity,
with
or
without
a
group,
Hugo
and
Claudia
are
prompt
to
respond
with
a
variety
of
detailed
recommendations
punctuated
with
personal
tips.
I
had
to
switch
hostels
for
part
of
my
stay
because
Wanderlust
District
was
all
booked
up,
and
I
miss
this
hostel
already.
Thank
you
so
much
to
the
hosts
for
running
such
a
beautiful
place
to
stay
and
create
memories
to
treasure.
If
I
find
myself
planning
a
trip
back
in
Mexico
City
again,
this
will
be
the
first
thing
I
book.
